Rayne arrived and shouted. "Stop right there and put that cat down! It is an alien that is a great threat to humanity!"
Rayne believed her words to be true after her many experiences in SIT and the cat was no different. Such lifeforms were a threat to peace and carried a great threat to the human race of Earth.
It was very difficult to convince her otherwise. Gene thought to herself as she turned around to look at Rayne.
She maintained her transformed magical state after using her older form to allow her to complete her task.
Gene looked a similar age to Rayne so Rayne saw her that way too and Rayne would never know that Gene was only four years old.
Gene looked determined as she turned to face Rayne. "No! It is no threat! You are lying!"
Her instincts told her that the cat was not all that bad and her mission was to save it so she could not turn her back on it.
Rayne sighed and put up a fighting stance. "I guess words will not work with you."
The gaze of Gene sharpened as Rayne came at her with a punch. "You are the bad one! Run Zimo, take these and I will find you!"
She opened the pet carrier and let Zimo out before throwing her things to it for it to take with it.
Zimo took her small bag which contained many useful things as it carried them in its mouth before running off.
Rayne got close and sent out a punch towards Gene who was thrown back by the power.
Gene could barely keep herself on her feet after taking on such power but her determination let her hold on. "I will not let you pass!"
Rayne sent a flurry of punches and kicks towards Gene which kept knocking her away. "Give up. You are protecting an alien. Nothing good will come from this!"
Gene stood tall as she had started to be able to read the moves of Rayne.
Her abilities as a natural-born talented fighter were kicking in. If one attack or trick was used on her, it would be difficult for it to work a second time.
She started to barely dodge while a figure watched from further away with interest in her eyes. 'An ALCHEMI operative? How unexpected!'
