Artemis

I drew Dark Sister and grinned when I saw a large pack of hellhounds and various monsters. The monsters seemed to be egging the hounds on with whatever they were doing.

A scream told me exactly what had been going on. Jumping into action I flashed to the nearest monster and stabbed it through the spine with my sword. The cyclops gurgled before falling over dead.

The other monsters hadn't noticed me yet. Seizing the opportunity I danced around the gathered monsters in a blur of blood and steel. The monsters cried out in pain as I dismembered them.

The hounds in the outer edges growled at me and I smirked. I shifted into my massive wolf form and pounced. The hellhounds stood no chance as I ripped through them with my teeth.

Eventually I had cleared out enough monsters to see what or who they had been attacking.

Fortunately it wasn't Selene. Unfortunately the auburn hair and silver coat was a familiar descriptor of the missing goddess of the hunt.

Artemis looked bloodied and close to death. My wolf form looked over her and I watched as her eyes fluttered shut.

Fearing the worst I listened closely internally sighed in relief when I heard the faint beating of her heart. I shifted back to my human form and dispatched the rest of the monster before sheathing my sword.

Without access to my system it was near impossible figuring out if I could heal her normally. I tried for several minutes first thinking of the healing skill and attempting to cast it.

I even tried to use wizard magic to no avail, even with the Elder Wand it seemed impossible to heal a divine being. With one option left I silently cursed the Fates. Taking off my armor I changed into my normal clothes after cleaning myself off of the blood and gore that had stained my body.

I grabbed Artemis and conjured a stone table to set the unconscious goddess down on. Biting into my wrist I pressed my bleeding arm into her slightly open mouth and waited.

Artemis' eyes snapped open and latched onto my before she grabbed my arm and greedily drank from my wrist. She seemed almost euphoric until she realized what she was doing and quickly jumped up and away from me.

She had a look of clear panic on her face along with hints of disgust and fear. It seemed my blood did more than cure her when she began to glow again her powers restored.

"What have you done creature?" She growled.

Rolling my eyes at her I responded, "How original, let me guess next you're going to insult my masculinity then proceed to compare me to shit, before eventually attacking me despite being unarmed."

Artemis frowned, "Shut up beast, I am a goddess I will not be insulted by the likes of you."

"Blah blah blah blah, Artemis please shut up." A bit of my power leaked out with my words.

Artemis opened her mouth to continue her tirade but found that she couldn't speak. I grinned at the implications.

"As you can see you are now under my direct control, not only as the new King of Olympus but as your sire. I reckon I can even get you to do whatever I want."

Her eyes widened in horror she took a step backwards only to trip over a dead body.

"You're not king… you can't be. My father-"

"Is dead, or wishing he is. Blasted him myself. He attacked my mate after all. Speaking of… you wouldn't have happened to see a woman around here would you? About yey tall, dark hair, killer legs, icy British accent?"

"I-I who are you?"

"For fucks sake, keep up will you? I'm Blake Corvinus, formerly Blake Corvin, current King of Olympus. Resident slayer of assholes, and lover of fiery women."

"Y- you're a brute!"

I sighed, I hadn't planned on Artemis being so difficult to deal with. Though with her history as a hardcore hater of all things male, I shouldn't have been surprised. I watched as her face contorted in anger when I didn't respond to her. She must have thought I was ignoring her. She screamed in frustration before grabbing a sword from one of the fallen monsters and charging at me. I didn't draw my own sword instead slapping away her strikes and stabs with my bare hands. Artemis growled in annoyance at being unable to breach my defense. She picked up the pace and started throwing in kicks with her attacks. Honestly it was actually pretty adorable seeing that she was in the form of a twelve year old. She attacked relentlessly but eventually I got tired of her actions and disarmed her with a swat of my hand. The sword clattered to the ground and she looked at me wide eyed.

"What now brute? Are you going to force yourself on me?"

I wanted to smack her upside the head, only through sheer willpower did I resist.

"Artemis, don't flatter yourself. I have two mates who undoubtedly love me. Besides I'm not some sick bastard that's attracted to children."

Artemis frowned, her form flashed briefly as she took on an older appearance. "What? So if I take on an older form would you?"

"What the fuck is wrong with you? Why are you so insistent on me having my way with you?"

Artemis actually blushed, "I- I suppose you aren't as bad as the other men."

In a blink of an eye the Elder Wand was in my hand sending a stunner with 90% of my full power behind it.

The red bolt of light struck Artemis immediately knocking her unconscious. Another flick of the wand levitated her up so that I could stuff the goddess into my inventory.

Thankfully it all worked out and she disappeared with a flash. I turned the wand back into Dark Sister and let out another sigh. I found myself sighing a lot in this world. Things were overly complicated and I didn't like it.

Artemis acting out of character was one thing, having a goddess that usually hated men practically throwing herself at me was another. Tartarus definitely affected normal minds to some extent. Even if those minds belonged to divine beings.

I dusted myself off and turned around, I felt a tugging in my connection to Tiamat signaling that she had used her powers.

Wondering what had caused her to use her powers I began to walk in the direction I felt the tug from. Moments later I found another cluster of monsters.

This cluster however had one difference. I could feel a greater power in their ranks. Scanning the crowd I smirked when I spotted the Titans.

Hyperion, Titan of the Sun, stood next to another Titan who I couldn't identify. Though if I had any guesses it was Krios, going by the constellations glimmering on his armor.

I snuck over to the crowd of monsters and listened as the Titans started giving orders. Apparently this group of monsters was headed to the Doors of Death.

Seeing the monsters react positively at that I could only assume that it was some sort of exit. Having heard enough I decided on the spot that two Titans and a large group of monsters shouldn't be allowed to exit the place I drew my sword and turned it into Sky Scorcher. Impaling the closest monster alerted the rest to my presence.

I made a mental note to learn how to use a spear properly as I stabbed and slashed with the spear.

There was no technique, no finesse, I just used the spear for what it essentially was, a large knife attached to the end of a long stick that could send blasts of power through it. Still I got things done killing monsters left and right but there seemed to be no end to them.

'Maybe I miscalculated the amount of monsters there was.' I thought silently as I dodged a snake-like woman who lunged at me. 'Alright, time to take it up a notch.'

I turned Sky Scorcher into the Elder Wand and lashed out with blasting curses sending bits of monster flying into the air. A spell danced into the forefront of my mind courtesy of the wand's semi sentience and I grinned.

"Protego Diabolica!" The words came out as a roar from my mouth.

Eldritch blue flames burst from the wand surrounding me in a ring of flames. I felt the steady drain in my MP as I poured more power into the spell.

The monsters seemed to think that the flames were harmless. They made the mistake of continuing to charge at me only to immediately get vaporized as soon as they crossed the ring of blue flames.

My grin grew as the second stage of the spell came to mind. Flicking the wand the flames solidified into a massive skeletal dragon that tore into the monster's ranks.

The Titans hesitated and stepped back, watching as I turned their army into ashes with a single spell. The skeletal dragon finished off the monsters and rushed at the titans only to be halted.

I frowned and poured more power into the spell. Hyperion shouted out in exertion as he tried to fight against the cursed flames. Krios put a hand on his shoulder and assisted him. Smirking, I released the spell causing the two titans to nearly collapse as the skeletal dragon disappeared in a fiery explosion.

The Titans seemed to think that they had succeeded in dispelling the eldritch flames. I decided to show them how wrong they were.

"Krios, Hyperion… fancy running into you down here."

"Halfblood-" Hyperion growled.

"You seem to think that I'm a halfblood, while you aren't technically wrong let me show you why you aren't right either."

I jumped into action startling the two Titans. Hyperion barely managed to get his sword up in time to block mine as I made to decapitate him.

Krios roared and tried to stab me with his spear. I spun away laughing as the two Titans continued to fail in landing a hit on me. All the while I continued to land shallow cuts on their arms and faces.

Taunting them only served to make them angrier, in turn this led to them making more mistakes in their attacks. Which let me taunt them even more by toying with them.

I hadn't even used any of my enhanced abilities yet, I had been solely relying on the Wolf School fighting style.

'I should look into eventually traveling to the Witcher universe too. I would love to seduce Triss. Always had a soft spot for redheads. Speaking of, what the hell should I do with Artemis.'

Such was my skill with a blade. I had enough time to think about completely unrelated things in the middle of a fight.

Even if it was totally one sided it was still a fight. Deciding that I had toyed with them enough I jumped back a distance and launched a sword at Hyperion from my inventory.

Hyperion saw the regular steel sword hurtling at him and smirked thinking that it wouldn't do much. Only the weapons I had in my inventory had been saturated with my power. Specifically the power of the void.

The sword stabbed into Hyperions shoulder before warping the air around the wound and disappeared with a loud crack. The sword had also taken Hyperions arm with it as it returned to the void.

Hyperion's smirk disappeared as he screamed in pain. Silver ichor erupted from the stump of his arm. Krios roared and charged at me to draw my attention away from Hyperion.

I unleashed a wave of swords all moving at mach speeds. Half the swords found their mark. Krios flew back with a look of surprise on his face.

He coughed up globs of silvery blood when he crashed into Hyperion who managed to catch the Titan. Krios looked at me as I slowly walked towards him. Fear crept onto his face and I sneered at the Titan.

Snapping my fingers, the swords returned to the void. Krios was ripped apart spraying ichor everywhere. Hyperion was showered with a majority of it. The last Titan grabbed his sword with his good arm and charged at me with a roar.

Spittle flying from his mouth, his eyes wild with rage at the death of his fellow Titan. The Elder Wand snapped into my palm and a spell flashed in my mind.

'Huh… who would have thought that there was a spell that mimicked an honest to god nuke.'

"Solis Ignis Mors."

A small sun appeared next to the charging Hyperion. The Titan looked at it and grinned thinking he would be able to control the source of light. Unfortunately for him he had but a split second before the miniature sun went supernova. In that split second I conjured a dome of protection around myself and 'equipped' my armor.

Just in time for the blast to vaporize everything around me. I looked around in awe, I was practically standing in the middle of a mushroom cloud. Once the explosion settled and the mushroom cloud dissipated I flicked the wand again clearing the air before turning the wand back into Dark Sister and sheathing the blade at my hip.

Looking around at the aftermath I made a note to not use that spell in an enclosed area. The ground, spare a small circle where I had been  standing, had been turned to glass. All the monster bodies had been blown away if not turned to ash. In the spot that Hyperion had been standing was a massive crater several thousand feet across.

'Yup, definitely not using this spell like that again.'

"Blake?"

Tiamat landed gently letting Selene jump off her back before retaking her human form. Selene rushed into my arms making me stumble back. I caught the former Death Dealer and sighed in relief.

"Selene, I thought I lost you." I set her down and checked her for any injuries.

"Me too, I thought that I had died and been sent to hell." She swatted my hand away before I could cup her rear.

"Love, technically this is hell." I replied with a grin.

"Shut up Blake." Selene lightly slapped my arm.

I laughed at the pout she tried and failed to hide. No matter the circumstances, Selene acting like a woman instead of a stoic, sometimes cold vampire princess would always make me feel some kind of way. I looked over to Tiamat and addressed my adopted daughter.

"Run into any trouble?"

"Nothing I couldn't handle father. Just some monsters chasing mother."

"Good, we need to move. That explosion probably drew the attention of every monster within a hundred miles."

"What was that by the way?" Selene asked.

"Took care of two Titans, Hyperion and Krios." I replied.

"Took care? More like erased from existence. We saw that mushroom cloud from clear across the way." Tiamat scoffed.

"Hey, better safe than sorry. Everything you kill here will just reform almost instantly unless you can kill them permanently like I can. I just wanted to make sure that we wouldn't have two Titans at our backs."

"Good point, where to now?" Selene jumped changing the topic.

"The Titans were talking about going to the Doors of Death, I'm assuming it's some sort of passage in and out of this place."

"How sure are you of that?"

"About 70%." I replied to Selene with a grin.

She sighed, "Fine let's go then. I'm getting tired of the red scenery."
