Frost's Greed (Marvel)

Everyone follows Xavier, the idealist. Everyone worships Magneto, the extremist. None dare to disrespect Apocalypse, the militarist. But what about the final of the big 4. The one who has lost their students at every turn. The one that walks down the darkest path and is unwilling to put their faith in none outside of their circle of trust. The one that cares not about how humans view mutants nor about the infighting of others. Whose only true care is for the students. This is not a story about her but about a student of hers that believes in her ideas and teachings. Not about peaceful coexistence or mutant supremacy or survival of the fittest. To strive for a brighter tomorrow, even if they have to make it through the blackest night. This is the story of one boy following learning how to be a mutant in a world that hates him under the teachings of the White Queen. He will go from an inexperienced kid to one of the most important mutants in the world ------------ I'm guaranteeing this story for a year, averaging a chapter per day (major holidays may get no chapter or more chapters.) This means that this will be my longest and most secure story, and hopefully the best, on the site. *Warnings! Warnings! Warnings!* - This takes place in an AU of Marvel. So while most things will remain similar to what most people are familiar with, there will be some changes (Some characters being mutants or mutates, etc) - He will start off weak power-wise. He will become very powerful eventually but not for now. He must earn the crowd's favor. - This will be a harem.

Issue #1

After spending the day celebrating with the royal family, Jack went to bed content. Until the moment after his head touched the pillow.

"Fuck! I was supposed to find out what is going on with that damn clone I created!"

Jack had finally remembered what he was going to do before Thor and the others arrived. Jack sat up on his bed before releasing his astral/mental projection. He then teleported his astral self back to Midgard before teleporting once again to the moon.

Jack floated above the moon's surface before looking around.

'Perfect. All alone and no one to disturb me while I nearly kill myself.'

What Jack was about to do was very dangerous and stupid and something he would stop anyone he was close to from doing.

Jack's connection with Troy had been corrupted by an unknown cause. So while he could feel the general direction his clone was in, he was unable to tell the precise location. But the direction in which Troy was located could take Jack months of just teleporting from location to location while trying to get a precise location.

So Jack decided to split up the work. Since this was an astral body, Jack could do many things with it. One of which, was splitting his astral form into thousands of astral clones.

Once all of the astral clones were composed, he then sent them out into the universe. All of them teleported in the general direction where Troy was supposed to be. They each arrived in different spots but when they tried to trace the connection once again, they were all given a new direction and teleported again.

Jack kept repeating this process over and over. The search that would have taken months if he just used his physical body was completed in minutes.

One astral clone had been lucky enough to find Troy aboard a spaceship. And once that astral clone found him, all the other astral clones teleported to its location before reforming into a singular astral body.

Once the astral body completely reformed, Jack teleported his material body to its location to combine his mind and body once more. With his body and mind connected once again, Jack opened his eyes to take in the sight before him.

Besides the main ship that he could feel Troy was on, there was also a floating city a few miles away from the city and the design on it piqued Jack's interest.

'It looks Greek in design. What aliens would copy the Greek to make a flying city? Or was it Troy who designed the city after his namesake? But there are no walls.'

Unwilling to continue thinking about the possibilities, Jack teleported aboard the ship where he had sensed Troy. But he could not recognize any of the people on board except for one blue man in purple armor and Troy.

"Hello there," the blue man said

"General Kang," Jack responded while looking at the other warily. Anyone Kang kept in his company was not good news.

Jack thought that perhaps Kang had done something to his clone but when he looked at the young man, he could feel that nothing was wrong with him mentally.

"Troy. How have you been since I sent you off into space?" Jack asked as if he was talking to an old friend

Troy was standing among the group of people in black bodysuits. While all of theirs had blue highlights, only his had red.

"You mean besides you sending me to certain death against the Imperial Guard of the Shi'ar Empire? After barely surviving that, I escaped to the far reaches of space where I became one of the most powerful mercenaries.

I got the attention of some people you wouldn't wish your worst enemy got the attention of. The Olympians. Although they are nothing like the myths or tales that I have heard of them having before.

I ended up killing one of their members and learning something that I'm sure you don't even know about your own powers. I then became the new Hephaestus through the title [God of Fire, Metal, and Smithing.]

After that, I joined up with these guys and have been traveling across the universe as their newest god and having been ravaging civilizations. We recently met up with Kang here who had an issue with you. Since I don't like you as well, we were just discussing an alliance on working together to kill you!"

"Cool," Jack replied indifferently before snapping his fingers and killing Troy in an instant

The only reason he had not killed Troy before was that he wanted to know why the connection between the pair had gotten corrupted. So after he figured out what happened from the clone's own mouth, he no longer had any use for him.

[Ability: Firebreathing, Draconic Form, Skill: Swordsmanship (Master), Polearm Mastery (Master), Piloting (Master), Divine Magic (Expert), Powers: Replication (Mutate), Sonic Scream (Mutate), Title: God of Fire, Metal, and Smithing.]

Jack's arsenal of abilities, skills, powers, and titles, had increased in moments.

While the Olympians and Kang were stunned, Jack began going over each of his new powers and trying to decide which ones he wanted to keep as is and which were better to combine with his other powers.

"You bastard!" the Olympian, who Jack assumed was Hermes, rushed at him with superspeed

While he normally would not have been able to respond, the warning that Hermes gave allowed Jack to go intangible before the blow connected. And as Hermes phased through him, he was frozen solid.

The god's frozen body was then shattered when Jack sent a wave of telekinetic energy towards him, giving Jack his second title of the day.

[Title: God of Speed, Travel, and Thieves acquired]

Jack turned toward the others Olympians with a smirk on his face.

"Who's next?"
