Frost's Greed (Marvel)

Everyone follows Xavier, the idealist. Everyone worships Magneto, the extremist. None dare to disrespect Apocalypse, the militarist. But what about the final of the big 4. The one who has lost their students at every turn. The one that walks down the darkest path and is unwilling to put their faith in none outside of their circle of trust. The one that cares not about how humans view mutants nor about the infighting of others. Whose only true care is for the students. This is not a story about her but about a student of hers that believes in her ideas and teachings. Not about peaceful coexistence or mutant supremacy or survival of the fittest. To strive for a brighter tomorrow, even if they have to make it through the blackest night. This is the story of one boy following learning how to be a mutant in a world that hates him under the teachings of the White Queen. He will go from an inexperienced kid to one of the most important mutants in the world ------------ I'm guaranteeing this story for a year, averaging a chapter per day (major holidays may get no chapter or more chapters.) This means that this will be my longest and most secure story, and hopefully the best, on the site. *Warnings! Warnings! Warnings!* - This takes place in an AU of Marvel. So while most things will remain similar to what most people are familiar with, there will be some changes (Some characters being mutants or mutates, etc) - He will start off weak power-wise. He will become very powerful eventually but not for now. He must earn the crowd's favor. - This will be a harem.

(I just want to be ranked. Give me my ranking and exposure Webnovel!)

A week later, Jack was in the middle of his new mid-day run when Emma called him on his cellphone. He had moved out of Emma's home and went to the Excellence Dorm where he claimed the best bedroom. He had also decided to start working out in order to better use his powers.

Emma had also informed him a few days ago that Jack would be leading the team of young mutants that the Hellfire Club was creating. So he had to be extra prepared. According to her, most of the mutants were teens that were rough around the edges and question his placement as the leader.

"Come over to my place. My brother will be here in 10 minutes and he wants to meet you."

When Jack picked up his phone Emma said what she wanted to say before she hung upon (Grammarly autocorrect) him. Jack didn't mind this though. The pair had spent over 10 months together and gotten used to each other's personalities. They had even begun taking on traits from the others.

Emma had been teaching him about self-discipline and had even given him ethics and nobility classes for the previous 3 months. Jack's entire demeanor started to resemble a younger Emma Frost whether it be his actions, his mannerisms, or the way he spoke.

Jack did not immediately go over to Emma's place but instead hopped in one for the training room showers. After he cleaned himself off, Jack dressed in his prep-school best, save for the shirt and Jacket which he held in his arms.

Jack then went upstairs and outside before flying over to Emma's home. He saw the older blonde standing in front of her home, waiting for her brother to arrive. Jack landed next to her without a word before putting on his shirt and Jacket.

"You're late," Emma said

"Mr. Frost has yet to arrive. I believe I am still on time," Jack said, mimicking Emma's British accent

Emma rolled her eyes and ignored him. The pair waited in silence for a few more minutes before a car pulled up in front of them.

The first to come out was a young, Asian woman that appeared to be in her early 20s. She then walked to the back door and opened it up. The person that appeared surprised Jack by just how much he resembled Emma.

It was obvious that this man was her brother, Christian. They both had the same blonde hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. Both also gave off an upper-class feeling. Christian had more of a friendly and inviting vibe though compared to Emma's distant and cold vibe.

As soon as she saw Christian, a smile bloomed on Emma's face. It was as if all the frost in her name and aura had melted away into the spring.

'So she can make faces like this? That's a surprise.'

Emma gave Jack a swift glare before turning her attention back to Christian.

{Ugh. I forgot about agreeing to a telepathic link when we are near each other.}

{Practice those mental shield techniques we have been going over and you won't have to worry about it. I am only using the weakest level of telepathy on you.}

Christian saw the pair's silent interaction and the smile on his face grew even wider. He was happy to see that his sister was actually treating this new student of hers so sincerely. He was always worried that, besides himself, no one would be able to enter her heart.

Christian walked over and stretched out his hand toward Jack. Jack reached back out to grab the hand and shake it.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Frost."

When their hands met and the grip tightened, Jack was caught off guard when Christian pulled him in for a hug.

"Haha. No need to be so distant. You can call me Chris. Or Uncle. Or Uncle Chris. Whichever you prefer," Christian refuted immediately

Jack was stunning and did not break out of the hug immediately. He turned his attention to Emma and sent a cry for help.

{Can you get him to release me? And does he have any mental issues? Where is Uncle Chris coming from?}

{He is a bit weird but that's just cause of our family. He has always had a very friendly personality which was not suited for the Frost Family. He was also very repressed due to our father's beliefs clashing with my brother's... preferences. Anyway, he is harmless.

As for the 'Uncle' title, I have no idea what is going through his mind. I think he is confusing a teacher with a parent.}

Emma walked up and tapped Christian on his shoulder while the pair were chatting mentally.

"Alright, Christian. Let go of him before you make him believe something is wrong with you? And what's with the 'Uncle' thing?"

"Didn't you take over his guardianship? So you're basically his parent," Christian reluctantly let go of Jack before looking between Jack and Emma several times. The more he looked, the wider the smile on his face got. "At first, I thought he sounded like you when you were younger from the way you described him, but he reminds more like a younger version of the current you."

Emma held her hand to her head as she felt a headache coming on. She loved her brother dearly but their personalities were so different that it made interacting with him difficult every now and then.

"No. His guardianship was transferred over to the school. He is a ward of the school, not me," Emma tried to explain. Christian didn't really care about the details. He had already made Emma, Jack's guardian in his mind.

After the initial greetings, the group of 3 entered the home to interact while the new assistant, Xiao Mei, was already sent on her first few tasks. Getting Jack some more animals to kill as well as a secret task Emma had sent her on.

Mei was Christian's assistant and he trusted her dearly. This meant that Emma was also willing to put her faith in the girl and have her be her new aide immediately.

This was the first day in a week where Jack spent most of the day relaxing and having fun instead of training. Emma was also in a similar position since she had to work most days in order to ensure that her company stayed on top. With Christian's lighthearted personality, he was able to liven up the home in a way different than the pair ever could by themselves.
