Among what little Mara knows about Dorian is that he and his other two brothers lead three of the most important and reckless groups of the Clan.
But they are not part of the Clan, and only respond to the orders of the Clan Leader, to whom they swear to obey and protect.
When the previous leader passed away, they have to take the oath in front of her.
Although when they made the oath, she did not know about it, because at that moment she fainted and then several circumstances happened after that, and made it impossible for them to bring it to light.
That is why when little Mara heard Dorian said that he made the oath together with Ursula and the maids. Plus, he says that he wasn't the only one. It is an implication that his siblings also did it.
Little Mara has no memory of what happened after she fainted upon seeing her Mother in the state in which they found her in her room, but she knows for sure that it was something that would help her in the future.
**
"Tell me..." little Mara looked with slight amusement in her eyes towards Dorian.
"... My older brother Drake and my younger brother Dante, all three of us swore both oaths, Master!" He said as he knelt with his head bowed down.
"Interesting. The leaders of the three divisions, the three most ruthless commanders, did?" Little Mara spoke, changing her tone to a neutral one. But deep inside, she's satisfied.
'Little Master, the three divisions are nothing compared to the Leader's clan's army, but they will help you cleanse the scums from the Clan for the time being. These three divisions are small in numbers, but each one of them is stronger than any of the Elders.'
The voice speaking in her subconscious was the Guardian. That, unlike Heinrich, he speaks when it is extremely necessary to let his Master know something or to make a comment like the one he just made.
Just as Little Mara was about to answer him, Dorian spoke up first.
"Yes, three Divisions Velociraptor, Vulture, and Tyrant are under your command, Master!"
It was at that moment that little Mara realized Dorian changed his way of addressing her.
A glint passed through Mara's small golden eyes. For a second, they turned red, but no one could see it, because Dorian was not paying attention to her eyes, since her gaze is so intense that he did not dare to do so.
'How can it be possible that a little girl has so much power inside her, it's as if she was one of those Old Monsters that have lived for more than a millennium, if it wasn't because I saw her grow up with my own eyes I wouldn't rule out the possibility that this is true.'
Dorian was reasoning inwardly, and couldn't get everything that had transpired since the previous leader Lana passed away out of his head.
"Velociraptor, Vulture, and Tyrant..." murmured little Mara.
"The other two groups haven't moved from where they are?" asked little Mara without waiting for an answer, tapping her chin.
She looked toward the window of the room where she was with the shadow. And noticed the expression of surprise and curiosity Dorian had at the moment.
Giving him a giggle, little Mara said to feed his curiosity, "Mother told me about the five groups, three of them, which are you three brother D, are obliged to give protection to the Clan Leader and the other two are in charge of information on other beings... I think two of the members are at the Lycans' headquarters, right?"
"Reporting to Master, two of the ten members are in the Lycan Clan, two more in the Human Clan, two more are with the Elves Tribe, one with the Fairies and one with the Demons..."
"Oh, and the last two?" Little Mara tilted her head to the side.
"... They... Currently unknown..." after hesitating for a few seconds, Dorian ended up answering.
"Unknown? They are two members of my clan, and their whereabouts are unknown?" The color of her eyes became brighter, and the surrounding aura gloomy. The air began lifting subtly to her hair, making it seems like it was dancing along with it.
Dorian realized she was angry. And he explained further.
"Their task with infiltrating two more groups, but the last message they sent was that they wouldn't get in communicated for a while because they could make associates with someone in high authority and that they would be in a very delicate situation if they discovered to be in communication with the Vampire clan headquarters!"
Dorian was sweating from head to toe, and he talked so much that his throat ached.
'I've never talked so much in my life!!!' Dorian shouted in his heart.
"What clans did you infiltrate?"
"Werewolves, Fairies, Elves, and Demons... We only have Forest Spirits and Angels left now. Don't tell me that one each could infiltrate them, the Angels? Is it possible to do so?"
"No, Master... One of them is with the Forest Spirits," he said hastily. To stop his Master from brooding unnecessarily.
'The Angels don't even see supernatural beings in a good light. How can a vampire, possibly do that, unless a human does it, it's impossible to have communication with just an Angel...' Dorian cursed in his heart.
Little Mara could see through his thoughts and felt it was funny, how a vampire who's branded as the second horseman of death by many both inside and outside the clan was exasperating and cursing inside his heart.
'The image of the Horseman of Death... It doesn't fit...' little Mara couldn't help but giggle at the thought that formed in her mind about Dorian.
If he knew what she was thinking and if she was someone he could teach, he would have smacked her upside and down on the head by now, to knock some sense into her.
"Oh, so where's the last one?" little Mara didn't want to have to deal with Dorian anymore.
"Him, he's researching a new race. It was the last assignment the late leader Lana gave him, from a hundred years ago, and there has been no news about him, for five years now. But his last message was that same one. He found a clue with a person of eminent authority. Besides that, he said the same as the other one, but if there was an emergency, there was only one way, he would communicate..." Dorian explained.
"Blood's Cry..." murmured little Mara.
Dorian would no longer get surprised if his Little Master knew about the term.
But what he doesn't know is that when little Mara murmured that, Heinrich was astonished, because that is not something that the late leader Lana has explained to her.
It's a call for a vampire to use, in case of an emergency. He or she can summon a spirit made of their own blood to delay a message to their kin, which means that a vampire can read the message.
"Alright, I'll accept that for now, but I want a detailed report of what they've been doing in each clan. Besides that, I want you to investigate their last whereabouts and keep track of where they'll be..."
"Yes, Master!" Dorian sweated over what he ordered. But as someone who had to undergo training from birth to follow orders, he had no choice.
"I want you to summon your siblings and the rest of the members of each division. We have something important to do these days..." little Mara smiled.
But that smile made Dorian, who was still kneeling, feel his back turn cold.
