Chapter 76: Rallying the Fighters

The next morning, Cole called an emergency meeting with the fighters who had joined their cause. They gathered in an old warehouse on the outskirts of the city, a makeshift headquarters where they could plan without attracting attention.

Marco was there, along with a few other fighters Cole had recruited. Lina stood by his side, her expression tense but determined. Ty was there too, though the worry for Zack was written all over his face.

"We need to act now," Cole said, addressing the group. "The underground has taken Zack, and they're holding him to send us a message. We can't let them get away with this."

The fighters exchanged uneasy glances, but Marco stepped forward, his voice steady. "What's the plan?"

Cole took a deep breath, his mind racing as he pieced together the steps they needed to take. "We need to find out where they're keeping Zack. The underground has safehouses all over the city. We need to hit every one of them, flush them out, and find him before it's too late."

One of the other fighters, a woman named Nadia, spoke up. "And what happens if we find him? Are we ready for a fight?"

Cole met her gaze, his expression hard. "We'll do whatever it takes to get him back."

The fighters nodded in agreement, their resolve clear. They weren't just fighting for their freedom anymore—they were fighting for one of their own.

"Let's move," Cole said, his voice filled with determination. "We don't have time to waste."
