So It Begins

She wakes up, it's been 512 days since her brothers and best friend had left to fight. She starts each day as normal, eats dried beef for breakfast, brushes her teeth, combs her hair, and gets dressed then she marks another day off the calendar and sighs.

She would go to work at the hospital as a nurse. She worked under an annoying and sexist doctor. Dr.Jerkins only allowed Lily to clean bed sheets, clean surgical equipment, book his appointments and take blood pressure, from not attractive young women.

After a long day of work Lilith was getting a warm cup of hot chocolate before settling into her bed and watching WALL-E. When she got a phone call that startles her.

She answers the phone and hears a desperate and urged voice. Knowing exactly who it's is she immediately gets annoyed.

" Max shut the hell up!! Nobody understands a thing you are saying slow down!!" Lily casually says to her twin brother.

Maxwell tries to calm his words and manages to say "Blake.....Roy...truck infront....so many rotters....blood everywhere.....smoke grenade.... they're gone.....all g-gone...nothing...left."

Lilith arms felt limp at those words, she slowly allowed the phone to fall from her ear. Her eldest brother Blake and her best friend Roy always chose to be the first. They always wanted to be upfront, they wanted to be where the action was.

Blake was the strong and brave one in the family and when he brought Roy around it surprised the twins, having matched their brothers incredible strength and speed. The two had always gotten into all sorts of trouble. After a while it was as though they had become brothers.

When she first met Roy she would hide behind her mother or one of her two brothers. She hadn't known very many people. She didn't like getting to know people after the attacks began, cause most went missing after a while.
