No One's POV,
In a dark room, a figure could be seen sitting behind a table with a thoughtful look on his face. There was nothing special about the room itself, a table, several chairs, a few bookshelves and two windows on one side. A light was on, the person sitting there wasn't an emo nor was he a teenager, it was a man in his twenties, not attractive enough to turn heads but not average enough to not stand out either.
"Are you Jesus?" a groggy voice asked as the movement made the fact that he wasn't the only person in the room, the owner of this voice was a man in his twenties and to be honest, looked like someone had wacked the shit out of him.
"Oh..that's new. I didn't think I reminded people of Jesus.'' The previously thoughtful look was now replaced by a small smile, amusement had it's own special place in this man's heart. "That's cause you don't, you look like the goddamn creepy motherfucker living near the kindergarten a few miles from here." another voice reminded him, this one seemed to be holding back it's laughter as it said this.
"Hey, why are you bein' such a dick eh? I don't get compliments often y'know." the man shook his head helplessly, he usually got called a weirdo and stuff like that! It wasn't his fault that he was built differently, people simply can't recognize his uniqueness.
"For good reason." the third man in the room nodded, maybe try not killing people with a baseball bat and opinions about him would change. "Meh. I'm just that unique." the man shrugged, he was an amazing person who was loved by everyone! Tough love.
"Unique...the wrong way." the man chuckled again.
"Fuck you." the man folded his arms and turned his head away, his friend had betrayed him! He was a traitor. He shifted in his seat slightly and looked at the confused man sitting in front of him.
Who was he, you ask?
This was Luke. The last name doesn't matter because no one's gonna remember it anyway.
"Umm?" The man let out a confused sound, it was too dim to make out the face of the person in front of him and he had no idea why the hell he was here in the first place. Therefore, he chose to shut up and listen to the people who were likely his captors.
"Oh right, you." Luke looked at him with an amused smile, this was nothing really personal. No, he wasn't an assassin or hitman. He was just your normal everyday guy who scared people so that they moved their businesses ....okay maybe he wasn't so normal. The moving business wasn't much of a personal thing either. It was just business, he got paid for doing this shit.
Of course, murder came as a natural part of it sometimes since he was used to doing this type of stuff for money. He might be a little wrong in the head but don't misunderstand. He was no crazy psychopath who gained pleasure from killing people, he just liked beating up people. If they died in the process then too bad for them, he stopped caring a long time ago.
"You see, we want your land. You're gonna give it to us aren't ya?" the man who was previously silent and possibly Luke's companion said fixing his glasses, they needed this guy out of here as soon as possible. "Why would I do that?" the man asked slightly angry, he wasn't about to abandon the place that had been passed along in his family for generations just because some thugs threatened him.
"Well....." Luke stood up and dusted himself off before walking towards the man and placing a hand on his head with a small smile on his face. "You see..." he raised his head up and stared straight into his eyes, "Cause I want it." he said slightly grinning, no other reason was necessary. He wanted it so he would have it, explanations were unnecessary.
"You thi-." the man was about to say something but before he could his head was slammed into the table, breaking his nose and glasses. Blood flowed from the nose and the small cut made by the shattering of glass. "What were you saying?" Luke asked with a small grin, he DID say he loved beating people up and this man was practically screaming at him to do it.
"Never!" the man shouted glaring at him, these wounds could be healed, giving up his land was something unforgivable! "Never..eh?" Luke asked leaning down uncomfortably close, making the man flinch back in slight fear.
In the next moment the side of his head was kicked, throwing him to the ground, "I'll stick that entire chair up your ass if I have to." Luke said kneeling down next to the bleeding yet glaring man, the legal jargon could be taken care of by the people that hired him. "Believe me. he'll do it." the other man in the room reaffirmed with a sigh, he saw a lot worse.
Luke lightly punched the man's shoulder, "Damn...I kinda feel respect for you." he said nodding in appreciation, normally people shout or do something else when they get hit by him when he's not holding back at all but this man was silently glaring at him. The man standing behind them fixed his glasses, "This is useless. Should we proceed with the other thing?" he asked for permission.
Luke shook his head and waved his hand in dismissal, "Nah. That's not how we do stuff." he said closing his eyes, using cowardly means was something he didn't really like and never would like. His current actions also proved that he didn't really care about consequences either. "Tsk. It would save a lot of time."
"If you wanna be a bitch. Be my guest but don't get me caught up in it." Luke responded glancing at him from the corner of his eye, he wasn't going to use the man's daughter to force him. He looked at the man on the ground for a few moments before standing up and shaking his head, "C'mon..we're leaving. Leave him here for a few days, see if he becomes more negotiable." he said nodding at the man wearing glasses who nodded seriously, "You got it."
Luke, who was about to open the door to leave, tilted his head confused. Call it a gut feeling if you will but he felt that something was about to go wrong here soon. He looked at the other two people in the room for a few moments before immediately ducking as a fire axe came crashing through the door.
