Prologue II

(A/N: I dislike systems quite a bit tbh.)

Undisclosed Location,

Luke POV,

"Woah..hot damn!" Luke said, slightly excited, jumping away from the door. There was, what he presumed to be, a guy with a fire ax out there, not the police or actual firefighters seeing as he would have heard the sirens if any such personnel were here. "What the hell?" the man with the glasses pulled out a pistol from his jacket, his partner may not keep one on him but he liked being prepared for situations.

Luke slightly narrowed his eyes as a small smile formed on his face. Pulling out an Italian Folding Tactical Stiletto Knife he looked around at the room, this room was dark considerably so. Meaning his attacker would have his vision slightly affected without proper equipment. He took off his locket and threw it at the sole bulb in the room with enough force to shatter it, which being honest, wasn't much seeing as he had to break glass.

Immediately the room went dark surprising the other two people in there but they didn't really have the time to remain surprised because a few moments later the door was completely broken down becoming the sole source of light in this room. Luke quickly backed over the table before lifting up his chair and throwing it right at his assailant.

"Ugh.." a muffled voice sounded as the person who had just entered the room stumbled back disoriented, "Fuckin' retard." Luke chuckled as his 'friend' put his pistol right next to the man's head and blew his brains out. "What was this?" Luke asked no one in particular and walked over to the now corpse, the brains were splattered all over the floor.

"What form of idiocy was this?" Luke asked kneeling down and picking up the fire ax, no one was this dumb. This probably meant that there were a number of other people here to claim his head too. He had no small number of enemies after all. "What about me?" the man on the floor asked flinching in pain, he wasn't giving up but this still did hurt like a bitch.

"What about you? You're staying here." Luke said in a confused voice, being attacked was nothing new and it wasn't going to change anything either. He took a deep breath and stepped out of the room only to find the corridor empty, "What?" he tilted his head slightly confused, there should have been people waiting to kill him over here and yet this place was completely empty.

He scowled, realizing the situation, "Tch, cowards." he muttered out grabbing the ax with both of his hands. There were several doors to several rooms, windows at either end and walls with brown covers over them. He walked over to one of the doors and kicked at it's handle breaking it open before rushing in with the ax raised overhead.

"Mo-!" one of the men inside was about to warn his comrades but found himself cut short by the literal ax lodged in his head. Luke knelt down and picked up his gun with a small smile, killing him wasn't that easy a task and besides he had been diagnosed with psychopathy already, apparently it was something related to apathy but he didn't really bother paying attention to that jargon.

Checking the safety and clips he nodded in satisfaction, "Good." he remarked with a small smile. "Oh shit." the man who followed him outside sighed, giving this guy a gun was the biggest mistake you could make. "Oh shit indeed my friend, Oh shit indeed." Luke nodded walking out of the room with an M4 in his hands, he was going to light some shitheads up....literally.

"Anyway Blake. Call up the police, we're the victims here." Luke reminded him with a serious voice, they were the ones being attacked by armed assailants and could definitely plead self defense, this place should definitely have surveillance or if not, a little bit of money solves most problems in this country or ANY country for that matter.

"I've been trying but we aren't getting any signals out here, you do know where we are right?" Blake responded fixing his glasses, this guy should know that the countryside has poor service anyway! Luke chuckled, "True that." he nodded and with a small grin kicked open another door, "Yo sup bitches!"

The trigger was pulled and a hail of bullets sprayed putting holes in the men hiding behind the door, "You dumb fucks, move, move, move!" he shouted kicking away a corpse, they should have taken advantage of their superior numbers, instead they chose to split up and hide in rooms for some reason.

"*cough* Haha you're the dumb fuck h-here." one of the men who was still alive responded weakly, they were heavily armed and came here to exterminate these people, of course they had backup plans too.

*CLICK*

The sound of a click made Luke's eyes widen in surprise and shock before he smiled widely, "You win this one." he said loudly, his tone carrying a hint of respect and appreciation in it. "Call this being petty." he said pushing Blake out of the door as the whole room erupted in flames, the sound earlier was from a grenade and each one of these men was carrying at least one resulting in a domino effect that caused an explosion which didn't even leave behind a recognizable corpse.

"Shit, Luke!" Blake looked at the flaming room hopelessly, he may have been a dick who made fun of everything, smoked a lot, beat the shit out of people and killed people but he WAS his best friend. He punched the wall in frustration and regret, "Wait for me down there you bastard." he muttered out standing up, regret could come later. He was going to find the people responsible for this.

??? City,

Alleyways,

In a dark alleyway, a single white haired young man could be seen resting against the wall with his eyes closed. This place was..well what you would expect from an alleyway, a dumpster over there, the opening to the road where people could be seen walking around going about their days, the usual.

All of a sudden the young man opened his eyes breathing heavily, he gasped for air and all of a sudden started coughing while clutching his chest. "Oooh Damn! That ain't a feelin' I'm gonna like." he said, recollecting himself. He felt like he got punched hard enough to be knocked out and yet stayed awake through it.

Don't ask how he knew what that would feel like because he didn't know either. It was bullshit he came up with on the spot! "What happened though?" If he remembered correctly, he was threatening some poor sod with Blake and blew up, then he woke up here and the previous events ensued. He looked at his own clothes with a small smirk, a white aloha shirt with palm leaf patterns, the top button was open, black jeans, coupled with black boots to go.

Luke whistled in appreciation, "That's some fashion sense alright." he said nodding approvingly, this outfit suited his own tastes quite a bit. A strand of white hair fell on his eye prompting him to slick it back entirely, though a few bangs still did droop down anyway making him sigh.

[Welcome to the Delinquent System. Do you accept?]

Luke squinted his eyes at the weird blue screen in front of him before realizing what it was and laughing out loud, "So that's it." he said folding his arms, he had gone ahead and transmigrated to who knows where.

'`A System?" he wondered out loud before narrowing his eyes. A System would be really useful here, in an unknown world with who knows how many dangers, a system would really help him out. Make him powerful really quickly too, so even if begrudgingly, he should probably accept it, if only to ensure his own survival.

"Go find some desperate bitch to control."

Luke said simply making the screen slightly hum before disappearing, it was stupid wasn't it? A really really stupid decision. But borrowed power and strength will always be just that..borrowed! Take what you want, when you want, how you want! That was his ideology. Take it and make it yours, live for your greed and you will surely succeed even if hated and feared.

A real man doesn't need to rely on some 'thing' to survive. Luke would pave his own path forward, the system would've helped but fuck it, he doesn't want what he doesn't want. Simple as that. Anyone who disagrees can fuck off right here, right now. He simply did not care.

He believed in things he got through his own effort, not things he could obtain on relying some entity that would make him it's slave. Freedom was his greatest treasure. Systems are for wimps anyway, he didn't need it or want it. He believed in doing shit yourself whether it makes you more miserable or successful.

Decide, do, and see through!

"Sounds stupid and Chuuni but I certainly don't give a rat's ass." he said standing up with a serious look on his face, this was a serious matter. Something he wasn't willing to compromise on at all.

What he didn't realize was that the system had only retreated because it knew that it wasn't going to get through him or overpower him in a contest of will, it was relatively new after all. Why did it think this? Of course it did, this 'monster' had literally 'forced' his own transmigration through sheer willpower and determination to not die, to not let his story end like that.
