Chapter 177: This is the woman that I love.

When Gladys was finally gone, Alyssa sighed and then got her phone again.

Calcel was in the Office when he received her call.

" What is it ? " He asked her.

" I am sorry that something kept me busy. What did you want to talk about ? " She asked.

" Let's meet this Saturday.." Calcel declared putting a frown on her face.

She giggled and said. " Are you asking me for pur first date ? " Alyssa thought of how romantic it would be.

" Stop thinking too much. I am busy too. I will hung up. " He said and ended the call.

" Why do you like making your self cold ? " Alyssa asked angrily but after she smiled.

That Saturday finally reached and Alyssa went to meet Calcel. He had told her to meet him at Trinity hotel.

She dressed elegantly in a blue shirt bubble dress and white heels. Tying her hair in along porntail and putting on shades to avoid being easily recognized by people.

It was around 2pm when she arrived and asked for her reservation. As she was walking she found David who was seated alone in one of the VIP seats in the Cafe.

' What is Mr Wong doing here ? '

Asked herself and immediately turned around before he could see her.

' Is Calcel aware that his father is here ? I must leave before he sees us together ! '

She just begun walking away when Calcel came from the other side.

" Marvis, Where are you going ? " He asked.

" Your father is here. We have to leave ! " Alyssa whispered.

Calcel smirked and held her hand. He made her turn to look to David's direction again.

Alyssa was puzzled. " What are you doing ? " She whispered again when David suddenly noticed them and he got up in disbelief.

Alyssa knew she had been seen so she quickly put on an innocent face and smiled crookedly trying to free her hand from Calcel's

Calcel dragged her to David.

" Marvis...You..are..? ",David was out of words. Alyssa's heart begun racing and she knew that she was in a total mess.

" You wanted to meet the woman that I love. She is the one.." Calcel declared confidently.

Alyssa heard that and looked at Calcel in astonishment. She had not expected him to be so serious about her.

She turned to look at David wondering if he was going to approve this and felt Calcel's grip on her tighten.

At first David looked surprised too but eventually he smiled and said.

" Its nice meeting you again Marvis. Please have a seat ! " David said lovingly and that's when Calcel released her hand.

She felt her heart calm down slowly and sat down.

" Marvis, You look uncomfortable. " David noticed.

"...I...I..am...I am sorry that I had to appear before you like this. " She apologized..

" You don't have to. I am so happy that at least Calcel has brought me someone that I know very well. You are a very good girl. No wonder he fell in love with you. " David said making Alyssa force a smile.

" Father, Don't be sweet to her like this when I am around. " Calcel said and her barely looked at David who laughed.

" Okay. I know you are shy. But its alright. " He said.

They ordered for food and continued chatting .

" When did you two start dating ? " David asked.

" Its been just a week ago. " Calcel answered.

" A week, Not long. But since you got the courage to show her to me I am sure you love her. " David spoke softly as he ate.

All Alyssa could do was eat and pretend as if she wasn't hearing them.

" Marvis !..." David called after noticing her silence.

" Huh..." She answered

" You haven't said anything. Are we boring you ? " He asked kindly.

" No Sir. " She said and smiled.

" Excuse me ! " Calcel's phone rung and he excused himself.

When he had gone, David looked at Alyssa.

" Marvis..." He called again.

" Huh.." She answered with a blank expression.

David put his hands on her palm that was on the table.

" Marvis, I can see that you ate scared. But i don't want to you to be . " These are the words David was saying to calm her down.

" I don't know if its me or Calcel you are scared of. But I want you to know that Calcel passed through a lot. And if he has been able to love again and you are the one he loves. I won't ask why. But all i can do is to allow both of you to be happy. " He said friendly and removed his palm from her hand..

" Can you two get married as soon as possible ? " David asked a question that surprised her.

" What ? " She couldn't help asking.

" Its what I want. I have no much time left. I need a grand child.." Said David.

" What do you mean that you have no much time left ? " Alyssa asked.

" I have Leukemia. " David declared.

" What ? "

" Look, Calcel must not know this. I forced him to marry May because I wanted to see my grand children as early as possible which didn't work out. So...Can you do it for me and marry him ? " David said.

Alyssa's eyes released tears on hearing this. She had not expected this at all.

" So...how long do you have ? " She asked with her wet tears.

" Not more than a year. " He answered.

They were still like this when Calcel came back found Alyssa with wet tears

" What's wrong ? Are you crying ? " Calcel asked.

"..I am no.." She said and dried her tears off.

" She just added pepper in her food. " David lied.

Calcel looked at her with concern and said.

" Don't mess with things you can't handle. Okay ? "

" Okay, I won't.." Alyssa said and smiled.

The three ate and finished their meal.

After that they walked Alyssa to her car.

" Thank you Mr Wong and Calcel. " Alyssa said to them before getting in her car.

" Visit us when you get time. okay ? " David requested.

" Yes sir. I will.." She answered and finally entered her car.
