Chapter 163: I am leaving today.

When Alyssa went back to the Mansion everyone had been waiting for her anxiously after watching her on tv.

The maids had just seen her get out of the cub from the gate when they rushed to her in excitement.

" Marvis.." Dora called holding her hand.

She looked at the others and said.

" Its the same dress we saw on tv. She is really Marvis. " Dora was very excited than the rest.

Rita and Mary came along .

" You girl, Why didn't you tell us ? ",Questioned Rita with a delighted face.

" I didn't know that I was going to win. How would I just tell you ? ",Alyssa asked.

" You have become a celebrity. " Mary said and gave Ritah her phone.

" First take a photo of me and Marvis. " Spoke Mary as she extended towards Alyssa .

" Me too.." Rita said giving Mary the phone and also stood near Alyssa.

Alyssa was very happy and she didn't stop them. Afterglow they were her friends.

" I will post this on my Instagram. " Mary spoke.

It was 10:40pm already but these girls had stayed up to see Alyssa if she was really the one on tv.

" Fine guys. It is late already. Let's go and sleep. " She said and went with them to the house .

The following morning which was Sunday, Calcel was called for the usual morning breakfast with David which after they sat down in the living room.

Jenny came along with the newspapers that were always delivered to the Mansion every morning.

It was her habit not to read through before David. Calcel would be so much on his phone .

What David saw on the headlines flabbergasted by what he saw .

The competition was held yesterday with the theme of Beauty exposure and it was a shock that a very strange unknown woman from nowhere won the competition. Many people are saying that it was because of her beauty because she is ravishingly beautiful but those who witnessed the competition testified that it was because of her creative and singing talent. Her sweet voice and the inspiration lyrics from the song was enough to prove that everyone can be beautiful and this made her to get support and votes from both the audience and the judges themselves.

The news read and before was a big photo of Alyssa that was just taken the previous day.

" When did this happen ? "David resounded and captured Calculus attention.

" Father, What is it ? " He asked.

" Marvis has gone viral.." David gave Calcel the news paper and also read it himself.

",So all along she was in the competition ? " Calcel asked.

David switched on the tv and what came first was q show where by they were talking about Marvis.

" Oh my God, This is everywhere. " David looked around and saw a maid who was passing by..

" Hi..Go get me Marvis.." He ordered.

The maid went to their room and found Alyssa packing her clothes.

" Mr Wong calls you. " She said.

Alyssa got up immediately to and see them.

",Greetings.." She greeted both.

" Calcel..." David reached put his hand to get through news paper from Calcel who gave it to him.

" What is this ? " David asked showing Alyssa.

" ..I am..Sir..apologise for not telling you about this earlier.." She said politely.

David out the newspaper away and asked.

" Why didn't you tell me ? "

" I wasn't sure if I was going to win or not. I am sorry. " She said.

Calcel just looked at her and didn't dare to say a word.

"Sit down ! " He politely gestured her.

Alyssa swallowed hard and sat down on the Sofa across Calcel's.

" I know you needed this especially that you had no where to stay. " What he said calmed her down.

" Yes Sir. I need many things . " She answered.

" So...you are going to leave ? " When David asked this Calcel looked at Ayssa.

" Yes..I am leaving today . "

Calcel was open-mouthed by what she declared he but still kept his mouth shut.

" That is fine then..when you are gone you can still visit us when you want...Okay..? " Chatted David with a soft grin.

" Yes Mr Wong. Thank you. "

" Okay, Go ahead.."

After this Alyssa got up and left.

David smiled and said to Calcel. " I knew that she would become something. "

",Huh..." Calcel got up.

" I need to use the washroom. " He said and excused himself.

He went to his room and sat on the bed.

He cursed and gritted his teeth.

" Why didn't she let me know at all ? Am I not her friend ? " He asked himself angrily.

Alyssa organized all her clothes and had lunch with the maids and after it she went to bid David but Jenny told her that he had just left.

" Send him my greetings then. And ...thank you so much for taking good care of me. " She said.

Jenny smiled and cupped her face.

" Marvis, I wish you don't forget us. You had become our family for the one and a half weeks you have been here. "

" Of course everyone here has been family to me. I felt like I was here for years. The ten days have been the best time I had ." Smiled Alyssa.

Jenny put her arms on her shoulders and pulled her into a hug.As this happened, Calcel was coming from his room and he was about to slope down the stair case when he saw them.

After the hug, Alyssa smiled and said to Jenny.

" I should take my leave now.."

" You haven't bid Calcel. " Jenny remembered.

"... I am..I.." Alyssa stammered.

" Marvis, there's something that I don't understand. "

" What ? "

" You have been avoiding Calcel since the day you two came back from the night you were stuck in the room ? " Jenny had been observant.

" I am not avoiding him. " Argued Alyssa.

" Then why don't want to bid him ? "

" It's not that I don't want to. "

Alyssa remembered what May told her the day she divorced Calcel.
