Extracting Fiction

In a world where life's challenges are not inherent, the pursuit of one's desires proves elusive. Our protagonist, however, is an exception to this case, for this isn't his first life—he's been granted a rare second chance at existence. The central question emerges: What would one do with the opportunity of a second life, a chance to live on their own terms and pursue every desire? This contemplation lingers in the backdrop, exploring the elusive 'Meaning' of existence. The narrative takes a humorous turn when, amidst these profound musings on life, an infant protagonist wails, questioning the cosmic injustice that led to his current predicament. His exaggerated cries echo with the sentiment, 'What bad Karma did I have to deserve this torturous PAIN?!?!' To unravel the mystery of this seemingly exaggerated pain, we journey back to the beginning, peeling back the layers of the protagonist's unique experience, exploring the challenges and opportunities of a second life with a blend of introspection and humor. ~~~ A.N. - Greetings, dear readers! I must humbly admit that I am a novice writer, navigating the intricate world of storytelling. Brace yourselves for an abundance of errors—yes, I mean a considerable amount. As for updates, there's no fixed schedule, so consider yourselves intrepid explorers in the realm of uncertainty. Good luck to those who find themselves enamored with this "Imaginative Property" and desire more. It's important to note that, apart from my "Intellectual Property" and the original characters within, nearly everything else is not of my creation. On a personal note, I've woven my own perspective and personality into the fabric of the protagonist. Should his demeanor ruffle any feathers, I kindly suggest you cease reading forthwith. A fair warning: this 'Imaginative Property' carries the essence of my imagination, but I implore you not to let it sway you too heavily. Should you find yourself molded by its influence, akin to my own experiences, you might come to regret it. Embark on this literary journey with caution, and may the words both challenge and entertain you. [DemoloRD]

Ch- 1 A Lesson Beyond Life

Introduction~

India, a diverse and culturally rich country located in South Asia, stands as the seventh-largest nation by land area and the second-most populous country in the world.

A land of contrasts, where ancient traditions seamlessly blend with modernity, India continues to play a significant role on the global stage.

And in such a country, on the 31st of October 2022, a Monday marked by the usual hustle and bustle of daily life, an unpredictable incident unfolded.

At the precise moment of 03:03:03, in the third hour of midnight and the third minute and third second, a young man, having recently celebrated his 22nd birthday, took his last breath. However, this event was far from the end of his story; it marked the beginning of a valuable lesson in his new life—one that would forever teach him never to purchase cheap products again.

~~~
After celebrating a spectacular birthday and sharing memorable moments with his parents, friends, and even enduring some awkward conversations with relatives from his father's side, something extraordinary occurred.
While everyone eventually left the party in high spirits, there was one notable exception – Swayam Shekhawat, also known as the protagonist of our story. He couldn't muster any joy and was utterly exhausted from maintaining a constant fake smile during the gathering, especially in front of those aforementioned relatives from his father's side.
They had relentlessly reminded him of his 'thin physique' and the 'incomplete education' resulting from his high school dropout, cautioning him about the potential physical and financial consequences.
Though those topics could have been engaging, he managed to divert from them and initiate random conversations. However, this effort took a toll on him, leaving him utterly drained. By the end of the night, he had no energy left even to change his clothes.
Despite his physical and mental fatigue, Swayam summoned the last bit of energy to plug his smartphone into the charger. However, in a moment of carelessness, he placed the charging phone under his pillow. This seemingly innocuous action led to an unexpected and catastrophic event - the 'Smartphone blast of the century.'
Boooooooooom
~~~

Here we find ourselves, in the midst of the excruciating 'PAIN' that Swayam experienced. It was a peculiar blend of agony, from the shock of his head being blown to bits and pieces, to the sensation of his infant body being squeezed and pushed into the world during his rebirth.

This was a pain beyond words, beyond description.

But the torment didn't stop there. To add a bitter touch to this already agonizing experience, a rather harsh nurse couldn't resist giving his newborn cheeks (or buttocks) a stinging slap.

That experience led me to believe that nurses might have an odd penchant for slapping the baby bums of infants, and I'm convinced that no one can convince me otherwise.

Damn you, nurse!!!!

~~~
Sigh~ that painful memory from my 22nd birthday still lingers.
However, things are vastly different in my current life. In my previous existence, I didn't graduate, but in this life, I not only graduated but also excelled in every subject, becoming the smarter then ever.
As for how exactly I achieved this transformation, well, that would make for a unique adventure tale to tell.
Flashback~
It all began and ended on my birthday. Everything was going great. I had an enjoyable birthday and also a fantastic Halloween party.
Everyone was dressed up as their favorite characters, and the decorations for Halloween and my birthday created a unique combination.
Everyone happily attended and enjoyed this Halloween and birthday party.
Or, at least, that would have been the case if it weren't for my relatives constantly harassing me and asking some rather thoughtless questions like:
"What do you want to achieve in your future?"
"What about your studies after dropping out of high school?"
"What happened to that computer course you were taking?"
"What about a girlfriend?"
"It's not easy on your parents now, so you should be reasonable and consider finding a job, getting married, and settling down in your life.
~~~

Exhausted sigh~ Finally, some relief. Remind me again, why do I even invite these relatives to any kind of functions? Oh yeah, because of my parents. Sigh~

After finding some alone time for a breather, these were the only questions constantly popping up in my head.

What's wrong with them? Why don't they understand that I want to be a writer? As far as I know, my parents don't mind those little snarks and are also very supportive of me. They want me to be whatever I want to be.

Even though I don't know if I can earn money from doing this, I am still going to do my best until the very end, and I'm thankful that my parents are very understanding.

I guess let's go to sleep. If not, then I might end up dead thinking about this $#!T.

As they say, I didn't expect that 'negligence can lead to death' would happen to me anytime soon.

~~~
And Booooom
~~~

The last thing I remember from my previous life was plugging in my smartphone to charge and placing it under my pillow.

But who could have thought that would be the end of my life? As for what happened to everything and everyone after my death? Honestly, I don't know.

That's how my previous life ended. And because of that, I no longer buy cheap products anymore. Oh well, at least something good came out of that.

By the way, my new life is not what I expected it to be like (e.g., Swords and Magic, Sci-Fi, etc.), simply because I am reliving my life as myself. What I mean is, my parents are still my parents: Mahadev Shekhawat, a strict yet great father, and Shakti Shekhawat, a loving and caring mother.

After I realized that I am living as myself once more, honestly, at first, I was kind of disappointed. But then again, beggars can't be choosers. What more do I even want if living once more can't satisfy me?

Since I didn't want to live as I did in my previous turn, I became proactive in this life and started supporting my parents at a very young age. I also invested in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. (What? Did you seriously expect me not to invest in cryptocurrency in my new life? You fools.)

Flashback end~

2nd life~ Year 2018~

Now, 18 years later, my physical age is 18, but my personality age is 39.

As everything was going perfectly, I didn't need to worry about anything anymore. I had already fulfilled my regrets and had become somewhat of a 'genius' due to my personality age of 39, along with a great physique and intellect. I don't have a girlfriend, though, because in my culture, dating without parental permission is frowned upon. And Honestly, I didn't even bother dating anyone, primarily because of my mental age situation and secondly, because teenage girls can be annoying. Most annoying of all are those dedicated teenage girls.

I shudder at the thought of those 'two' going to such lengths just to impress me.

~~~
I have everything one can ask for, or at least that's what I thought.
Before continuing, let's slow down a bit and talk about 'Desires.'
Desires are a great aspect of us humans that help us move towards greater heights, or at least, that's what I believe. And sometimes, beliefs can be rewarded through unprecedented means.
Exactly how so? Well, that's a great question, if someone is asking.
~~~

I had everything, yet I wasn't satisfied. I was a great investor, an athlete, a 'genius,' yet I still wasn't one thing I once dreamt of becoming—a writer.

Well, that's the thought that made my life take a unique turn, which no one could have expected, and to be honest, I ain't complaining.

As my slow-paced life continued, I decided to relive those nerdy years, that nostalgia of reading novels, immersing myself in that fantastic feeling. To achieve that, what could be more exciting than rereading an all-time favorite of mine - 'WARLOCK OF THE MAGUS WORLD'?
