Cheryl tried to get herself together as she walked back to the meeting room. She saw that they were still having the meeting without her.

She sighed and began to pack her things. She was glad they didn't need her anymore. She wanted to get out of there, she felt suffocated with her own feelings. She couldn't stand being in the presence of these two men. One she liked but couldn't be with, the other she was utterly disgusted with.

"I'll be going now. Dad? Are you set?"

"Yeah! Just give me about ten to fifteen minutes."

"Okay, I'll be in your office." she said and was walking away when Victor's voice stopped her.

"Let me take you home?" he offered.

"Thank you very much Victor but I am very capable of driving my daughter home. I get you're marrying her but she is still my baby. Let me do it." he said chuckling.
