Cheryl started coughing and was almost choking on her food when she heard this. She looked up at him with wide eyes.

'Not laughing anymore huh?' Victor thought.

He knew Cheryl was going to refute, so he leaned in and whispered to her. "Don't you dare think to say no. I'm one call away from destroying your father." he said and turned to face Theo.

"Mr Ash, I heard your engagement party is in two days. I didn't want you or your fiancee missing my engagement, so I made it a day after yours. Aren't you excited?" he asked Cheryl who looked like she had been caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

Cheryl, shocked by the question, quickly looked away and at the floor. "I... I'm not sure what to say," she stuttered.

Victor glared at her and mouthed 'one call'.

Cheryl nodded and gave a fake smile. "I am excited."

"Good! It's settled then." he said smirking at Theo.
