Kane has gone from being one of the wealthiest people in the sect to becoming one of the poorest. This was an incredibly harsh blow to To any ordinary cultivator who was a member of a sect. Sect contribution points were the primary currency used by sect members within their sect. It is earned by killing beasts and completing missions.

The sect would take a portion of the hunter association contribution points earned by the cultivator and issues its equivalent as sect contribution points to the cultivator and can only be used in all the branches of the sect. This was a great alternative to spending mana crystals which was an extremely important cultivation resource.
