First lesson - Part 2

The students suddenly turned into there groups to make sure they where with people the already know and liked. After a second when people where now having to go to someone else, most of them looked at two people wanting to ask them. The first was Natasha as her family's strength was known by nearly everyone and the other was Silver (Gil) after watching him fight.

Neither one of them seemed to have moved and stayed seated where they where. Gil stayed seated whilst panicking as he had not spoke to anyone and didn't know who to ask. Natasha stayed there wanting to go and ask Gil to partner up. This was the only person she felt like she could get along with, someone that didn't care about her family and treated her like everyone one else. Whilst she was thinking how a group of two girls and a boy started to head over to him.

"Um…Silver would you" on of the girls started to say before she felt a chill coming from behind her so she stopped and looked around. There and saw Natasha walking towards them, that wasn't right she was walking past the to Gil. As she stopped in front of Gil she wasn't sure how to ask him.

Gil met her eyes and seemed to know she wasn't sure how to ask to team up. "Would you like to be my partner" Gil asked extending a hand whilst standing up.

Natasha extend her hand holding Gils "Happily" she said. Both of them now walked to a open space amidst the others staring at them.

"Hi, I'm Gil but I guess everyone knows me as Silver." Gil introduced himself, he already knew Natasha's name but choose to let her introduce herself.

"Hello Gil, I'm Natasha."

When the two of them finished introducing themselves they looked round to see what the others where doing only to fined everyone doing the same.

"Now to better understand your partner or group please take it in turns to attack and defend. This will give the other instructors a chance to observe. Now please begin." Leon instructed.

"Would you prefer Silver or Gil?" Natasha asked.

"Um I like Gil because its short but Silver does sound cooler, ill let you pick Gil responded.

"Okay how about Si, its short for Silver." Natasha proposed.

"Si, i like that. Okay then ill shorten yours down to Tash." Gil said, with a rare smile as he spoke.

Both Gil and Tash both had a smile on there face as they each took a battle stance.

"I'll defend first" Gil said, shifting his stance to be to a more defensive one.

Tash started spinning her staff after then when she did during the first day test. The ice blades that shot out came at different speeds and sizes causing Gil to not be able to black all of them and got if by a few.

Suddenly a larger one came flying at him and as he sliced downwards at it it exploded in to a mist of snow. This didn't cause any damage but made it hard to see where the new attack was coming from. He tried using Mana detection but the mist surrounding him was infused with mana making it impossible to see the next strike.

When attached if user can not block it, then the system will use available skills to block. Thai skill is passive and cannot be turned off]

The screen appeared before Gil and whilst trying to read a new ice blade came flying at him. In and instant a small fire blast was shot towards the blade destroying it, Gil guess this was the auto defence and was glad he got this.

His new thought was how to remove the mist and thought of using a wind blast. Holding his left hand out he formed a wind blast, but before firing attempted mana shaping.

He visioned the ball of mana slowly spinning faster and faster. He hoped this would work as it wasn't a proper shape, suddenly he opened his eyes and saw that the normal white ball of mana was slowly spinning and spinning. It was getting fast and soon the mist disappeared.

Already having a ball of mana he instantly fired it at his opponent. All of this seemed to take a while for Gil as he was getting new messages and making a new skill but it was actually a few seconds. The sudden wind attack thrown at Tash caused her to stop attacking and arty defending.

Seeing Tash now defend Gil decided to start attacking. He fired two fire blasts, a large one then a small one hoping to hide the second. He pushed up to close range. Tash split her pole into two equal sections and coated both in a layer of ice forming two swords of ice.

She jabbed the fire blast with in sword and it went straight through to the second, due to the ice sword meeting the fire blast a cloud of steam came when the two met.

Gil pushed forward and started attacking with his blade and changing his grip every now and then allowing a continued onslaught of attacks. Every now and then he would shoot a blast of mana where possible.

Through the whole attach Gil had only landed a few attacks against Tash. It was clear to the instructors looking at these two that one was better at defence and the other good at attacking.

After a few minutes of back and forth swapping positions a whistle blew indicating for them all to stop.

"Now that the instructors have witnessed your skills in action they will now provide you and your group/ partner a guide on how best to improve. For the rest of the lesson you will go through the guide and understand what you need to do. This can be done here or at another training ground. I would recommend spending a few hour learning about the people you are with" Gil was sure Leon was looking at him and Tash when he said that.

"you can then head to lunch and read your guide together and go to a training ground to start using it."

"If there are no questions then good bye" Before anyone could even think to ask a question Leon fell backwards from the platform into a tear in space and disappeared.
