Chapter 6 : Tutorial Try Hard Modes

Bud was quickly awoken from his slumber when a noise rang out, notifying him that equipments have restocked.

It was a very odd situation because the timer now begun 10 minutes before the mode started.

Paying not much mind to it, Bud went inside the equipment room.

It was a bright room with many apparels laying in the table.

The equipment ranges from leather armor to tools such as a hoe.

Like usual, Bud picked weapons that provides him with the highest mobility.

He took a simple leather armor, a couple iron dagger, and a set of needles.

The timer still have 8 minutes on the clock so Bud spent the rest of it in experimenting with his abilities.

8 minutes passed by like a fleeting bird, and with great haste, Bud ran towards the entrance.

The gate opened. However, it was dark. Pitch black dark.

However, Bud wasn't fazed much about it as he had spent half his training in blindness, whereas his other senses are being honed to its peak.

Bud fearlessly walked into the dark, swallowing him whole as the light started to diminish.

Seconds later after his entrance, a new notifications showed up.

Bud looked at the window with an amused expression. He seems to have mistakenly pressed the wrong button. He noted to himself to read everything before touching them.

However, as for the stage itself, he wasn't to afraid.

After reviewing the past few difficulties, it was too easy for him. It was like this whole set up was made for him.

He was trained to fight against opponents much stronger than him. Trained to fight against multiple opponents. And lastly, trained in many types of combat.

It seems like in this difficulty, his other senses are his next test. However, after spending years in the dark, this feels like a walk in the park.

As Bud was walking straight into the abyss, in one of his steps made a deep hole.

*Rumble*

The ground rumbles and suddenly, Bud's honed senses urged him to duck.

*Swish* *Swoosh*

It was projectiles. To be specific needles. Although they are thin and doesn't cause much damage, to the hands of a skilled assassin, they could be deadly.

Suddenly, slight footsteps sound could be heard just a few meters behind Bud.

With great reaction time, Bud rolled to the side.

*Swish*

A dagger had flown from where he stood.

There was an assassin that is targeting Bud.

Bud seems to realize this as he immediately ran forward, trying to make it difficult to hit him with thrown projectiles.

The first thing Bud have to do when going against an assassin is to pinpoint their location. The footsteps he heard earlier wasn't enough detail so he decided to stall.

The assassin didn't stop from releasing as many projectiles as possible. The assassin didn't want Bud to have the time to think

However, to the Assassins dismay, dodging for Bud was like breathing.

Bud seems to realized the assasin's intention and came up with a way to find his location.

Bud realized that the whole place was a flat surface, meaning there should be little to no elevation.

Using this idea as his platform, he immediately assumed that his opponent is directly straight to him.

With this in mind, he used the general sound of the throwned blade and used that as the basis for the assasin's previous location.

With confidence, Bud stood still, inviting for the dagger to come for him.

The assasin seems to not realized Bud's plan and, with no hesitation, shot a dagger straight towards him.

Bud caught the dagger and threw it back from where it came, heading straight towards the assasin's head.

The counter attack came in not only unexpected, but fast. The assasin spent most of his energy into dodging the attack, not caring about the noise he could possible make.

Bud wasn't the one to pass out opportunities so he immediately threw his dagger and a group of needles to secure the kill.

*Tsk* *Click* *Click* *Click*

+500 Experience from killing a Master.

With the meaty sound and experience, Bud knew it was a hit. To make sure, he tried to throw a couple other projectiles however, before he could, he was back into the entrance.
