All the ships were prepared in stealth mode; moving that way was slow, but once they were all in position and with the objectives marked, they just had to wait for the right moment.

The Thanatos would begin the charge, the mechs would deploy silently, and the fighters were in position. Each one had their place.

The magnetic pulse signal sent Eneas' order to begin the battle.

The Thanatos began to accelerate to a distance close enough that the enemy would not flee. On the radar the multiple ships of the pirate fleet appeared at the same time. The fighters and raptors moved forward, the electromagnetic pulse missiles would buy them the seconds necessary to be able to fire at will.

"Fire in with main cannon above hive ship, plasma lasers at the ready."
