Morrow of Rosewood

A quaint village lay in nature's embrace, mother nature; intertwined with the town of Rosewood.

The village, enriched with greenery, bustled with mery. For today, was the coming of age for the next Priestess of Rosewood.

She sat in her room, her faint stomach growling with lust.

She had not ate in three days, a fast to purify her for nature's touch.

Her charming red hair, a tear of the sun cascaded upon it, resounded into two splits; a couple of pigtails that dripped down to her shoulders.

She had innocent sky-blue eyes, which held the universe within, a soul touched by grace.

Her seductive lips withheld the breath of the sun.

Glutonony had not cursed the girl, a slim body, as though she had fasted her whole life.

Through struggle, she had adorned the robe of the Priestess; a gift bestowed upon her when she was eight years younger, she could now finally wear.

First, a silky white blanket cascaded down her body, covering her delicate breasts, concluding just below her pearl, nestled in her pale white thighs. A gust of wind and her womanhood would be disgraced.

Around which, she adorned a dark red robe, crafted from the fiery blaze of the star of the morning.

Beauty echoed from her footsteps.

She came to greet the elders, a solemn bow, a day of beckoning.

"You're beauty has only expanded, Morrow." The current Priestess tossed a rare compliment; staggering towards the end of her life.

Her smile expounded,

"Thank you very much." An elegant acceptence.

Her parents embraced her at the dawn of the sun.

The procession coursed throughout the village, which looked as a beacon of populace.

All the townsfolk came out, celebrating for their future, a rite of passage.

Trumpets echoed throughout the winds, and bards played to their whims, singing of holy reverence.

The beautiful roses which this village took its namesake from, fluttered throughout, endowed with beauty.

Then, at the entrance to the grove, stood the ancient and wise Priestess.

Dancers weaved through the winds behind her, dancing to the god's whims.

"Lo! Rosewood! Today, the coming of age, the future of this village rests as a shining beacon of the sun, endowed with the morrow's namesake. Her name will echo throughout Elarion, her smile will be carved in the annals of beauty. Come! Watch as she receives nature's blessing."

Everyone let out hearty cheers before Morrow had the stage.

"I truly appreciate every cry of support, endowed with the mother's beauty you all are. I pray I will be able to fulfill your desires." A celestial bow, the zephyrs played with her eversent hair.

Then, she alone, proceeded into nature's embrace. A sacred grove, to receive nature's blessing.

Greif cascaded from her face, a sigh of relief.

She had a brief moment to collect her thoughts before the mist of purity.

She stared at the sun, its beauty unmarried, with no moon to rest beside it.

At last, the dew of the misty morning resided before her, a mist to make her pure, unburned with thoughts not becoming of a maiden.

She walked through, at first, nature resisted, a lustful beast it had to face.

Eventually, however, nature weakened, and called her name.

Her blue eyes sparkled, painting the world with blue.

The elemental stage should have been readied now,

She proceeded to where the trial of elements would take place.

People gathered, eagerly awaiting to see if nature had bent the knee to her.

She walked out, people cheered in awe, a wave of approval washed over her parents, the Priestess clapped with stern joy.

Rocks aligned before her; a delicate task, to align herself with the mistress of nature's wrath.

However, before partaking in this sacred ritual, she must first proclaim her vows of Priesthood.

She took a step forward, everyone holding a breath of awe, as her beauty expounded.

Endowed with the beauty of her namesake;

"Nature, has proclamied me!"

Everyone roared with feverish awe.

"I shall now, with holy reverence, take my vows, heed my words! I, Morrow of Rosewood, vow to make this quaint village the center of love, to restore this kingdom to beauty even nature couldn't outpace."

Everyone, cried tears, her voice; a lullaby of the sun.

She approached the rocks, merely meant to balance them.

She took them up, and in a mistake that would alter the course of Elarion; the rocks floated with her touch, delicate dancers in the wind.

Everyone, stook with horrifying shock.

The Priestess stared at her with grief, smiles dropped, the moon resided.

"What have you done!" The Priestess shouted, as her face was enlivened with ghosts.

She made a gesture and quickly hurried the people out of the grove, some shouted at her before; "Monster!" "Fiend!" "Witch!" were among the many things hurled her way.

She was promptly secured in a dungeon.

The Priestess called a council of the elders who ran the village and her mother; who strangely, brought the father along.

"What is he doing here, Susane?" The Priestess said snarkly.

"He is the father to my child! He deserves to be here just as much as I!"

The Priestess spat; "You and your disgraceful egalitarian ideas. Very well, but see to it he doesn't make a fuss."

Three elders gathered: The Priestess, Nature's Interpator, and the Elder Mother.

"Elder mother? What do you think of this?"

"They should all be killed now! If the shadowmires catch wind of this, this village will be exiled and razed. They are a threat to our wellbeing and nature's order."

Susane; the mother of Morrow, her face twisted in weary.

"Let us not be rash now." The natures Interpreters spoke up;

"Killing a woman who has received nature's blessing may bring upon us her wrath. Not only that, but as a woman who was meant to become the priestess of this village, it sets a bad precedent."

"You can't kill our daughter!" The father spoke up,

"Silence!" The priestess roared with furry, another word, and his head may have been rolling on the floor.

Her face contorted, Susane pleaded for mercy.

"Out of the love I had once bear her, I will let her live."

The mother wept with joy.

"However, I cannot overlook her witchery, she will be exiled to the edge of the world."

The mother's face contorted slightly,

"Will we be exiled too?" She had silky eyes.

"No. You will be executed for birthing a witch."

The mother's face, haunted by a ghost.

She screamed out in wrathing agony.

In the dungeon where Morrow rested wearily, a woman came to escort her.

She would be forced to watch her parent's death.

In front of her, the woman who had given her life, her head lay on a lump of wood.

"Watch! This is what happens to sinners. Any last words, Susane of Leroit?"

She stared at morrow, with doleful eyes.

Her lips moved, but no noise came out,

The mouthing of...

"I love you."

Her head, removed from her corpse.

A whispered grace, a sight of ghosts.

She cried out in withering pain.

She was sailed off to the edge of Elarion, a place disgraced by nature, endowed with disgrace.

Her name was, Morrow of Rosewood.
