Chapter 1 - I died

In a a very luxurious room a tiny boy was seen wrestling with his blanket trying to get out of bed but the blanket weighing him down to the point he gave up

Zane POV:

- Who the heck placed this heavy blanket on me!

- If I found out that it was that little kid again….

- Calm down Zane your not a kid anymore, getting mad on some kids prank is just immature…

- just think, the last time I remember, I was in my office and the lights shuts off and luckily the computer system was running directly with the building own generator

then …

then …

wait!..., there's nothing !!

- I can't remember anything after that.

- was I drugged and taken away!? Or was it a prank…

- I don't know…

Outside the room a beautiful goddess was waiting for her child to get out of the room and surprise him with a hug and kisses, but its already been passed 9 am and he still haven't gone out yet.

I better peak-in… what he's doing in there… (giggle)…

The beautiful goddess opened the door as quietly as possible and slowly peaked inside

She saw a lump inside the blanket squirming, trying to get out but in the end, just stopped

She slowly went beside the bed, grabbed the blanket and with all her might threw the blanket off to the floor and saw her child looking at her amazed.

It took me by surprise that heavy blanket was lifted like it was nothing and I could not believe the scene before me, a goddess like no other was looking at me with warmth in her eyes

- Oh Zane I know mommy is the most beautiful woman in the world but you shouldn't just stare at me like that or else I would melt (soft giggle).

- Joke!.. (while giggling)

- Mom!?….

- Yes darling it's none other than your gorgeous mother!!

- Are you still dreaming darling? Come on lets go down and have some breakfast

I was awe-struck seeing the goddess appearing in-front of me and stating that I am her child and what caught me by surprised is when she tried to carry me like a little kid, and she did

While she was walking away from the bed heading out the room, from the corner of my eye I saw my small stature self in the mirror being carried by a goddess caring for her own child's safety and then at that moment I realize that I died and got reincarnated somewhere else…

Zane's thought:

- Realizing that I died and got reincarnated got me excited, because if this is real then I would receive a cheat that would help me adjust with the environment, a system or even a golden finger of some kind. But that has to wait until I get myself some alone time.

Walking to the dining while being carried by your mother was weird since I never met her in my passed life but experiencing it now is not so bad after all

Her smell is one of a kind, unlike all the woman I dated in my past life, no one could compare to her smell

I noticed that the house infrastructure was about late 90's and early 20's and the design is really luxurious with lots of antique pieces displayed in the hallway, I might have been born in a wealthy family

About a few minutes of being carried, we finally arrived at the dining room where a table could sit 8 is there designed with silk table cloth and silver to gold wares up to the candles hanging on the ceiling.

- I really hoped that this era is not as old as I think it is, why you ask? Because ever since waking up there are not a sliver of hint anywhere that the room, hallway and even the dining area has a slightest bit of chance that its in a modern era, I mean for god sakes even my goddess of mom dress like the girls in pride of prejudice movie I saw before.

I didn't notice at all but there was a man sitting ag the opposite side of the table waiting for us to have our sit and this man looks very familiar like I have seen him alot of times befo…

That's me!.. but how is this possible

Remembering how I had a glimpse of myself a while back, my current feature is nothing to scoff at as well, since my features are close to perfection comparing to the man which had my facial features before I look much closer to my mother in this world with pearl like skin matched with platinum coloured hair

Mom placed me right across from her spot and at my right side was my dad.

- looking at my self beside me is so very weird in a lot of ways.

I.. I'm good da.. dad… (I answered awkwardly since I wasn't used to speaking to my old self and need to get used to this or I wouldn't be able to explain this to them after)

As soon As he pointed out his head at a particular spot I touched my head and it started to sting, then I had a flash back, memories that wasn't mine kept pouring in and I'm starting to lose consciousness.

According to the investigation Zane was pushed by one of his classmates during playtime and that causes him to hit his head on the cemented pavement, I need to ask him since its a miracle that he is awake and well now since the height where he was pushed was at least a full floor high. Zane sounds awkward sometime so this reaction and how he speak is normal but once I mentioned that he had his injury his face made me a bit anxious, from that instance its like he forgot or didn't know what happened to him,as soon as his eyes started to roll upward and he slowly lose strength and fell from the dining chair, I rushed to his side and caught him with my body and yelled for the maid to call the doctor quick.

I was just in the dining room and… don't tell me I died again!?…

Looking at my body which is now naked and I'm floating this remind me of those reincarnated individual and meeting a god or hear a god's voice but this is reality nothing of sorts is happening…

How is he doc?

He just had a mental shock and just became stable now for some unknown reasons.

Does the injury might have something to do with him loosing consciousness?

Couldn't say I need to do a check up asap as soon as he woke up.

Rarrggh!! Zane couldn't take it anymore, he tried mostly everything, even tried to speak to whoever made the place and or his cheat like system or golden finger but nothing has worked so far.

After some unknown amount of time a screen popped up.

The loading screen has finally finished its count down and from the screen like watching a movie in 3rd person view, I saw the previous owner of this body had to go thru in class everyday and its simply bullying, the teachers and many kids are also an accomplice from his supposed accidental death.

I felt his sorrow and hatred towards them specially the adults that treated him badly, it made my heart aches and said to myself that one day I'll take revenge for everything they did to this little kids mental health and for them to cover the sins of the one's at fault.

After watching the past memories, the incident and all the people who cares for me so much, a plain white bordered screen which I'm most familiar with appeared before me and made me excited for many reasons.

If this is really the Earth Online I knew and help program with the AI then the attributes I got is pretty normal since I reincarnated in a dead person's body, the attributes has been reset as for why I only got 1 attributes its all because of the game mechanics, the game pods scans the whole entirety of a person and quantifies that person's abilities into numbers then the AI would choose the highest attributes a person has and chooses that as their own main attributes. For example lets say they're STR is valued at 11, INT is at 7, DEX is at 8, AGI is at 6 and VIT at 10. Then the game system would only choose STR as their main and first attributes, as for the others a player need to learn how to unlock them and train them to their full potential.

As I was thinking of how to get out of the place and start my power up training the space started to darken and last thing I know everything went into darkness then a bit after I heard someone crying, I tried to open my eyes as both eyelids tried to stay shut but I was able to open them anyway and I saw mom crying while sleeping on the chair beside me then while staring at her, somehow it made me sleepy as well and continued my rest while holding my mom's hand firmly.
