Dungeon WAR: Raising goblins as a dungeon

It has the ability create life as thought it was a measly feat. With its power it can destroy worlds and create civilisations. It exists everywhere, where you step, what you see and what you breath is part of it. One can say it's not only omniscient and omnipotent, but omnipresent as well. But what is It? A deity? No, it's a dungeon. ... A young man from earth has found himself reincarnated as a dungeon. In this new world, he is now but a child. Armed with nothing else but his genius creation capability, come watch him as he struggles to survive this world where his kind are treated as nothing but tools. "Hmm? Another group of adventurers is sent to close me down?" He laughed. "Clearly, they didn't understand when i killed all of their armies... wait, that boy has a good looking soul. Why don't I turn him into a slime?" From the deepest pits of the dungeons, terrifying creatures awoke as they had been ordered by the creature they live in. Be the strongest dragons living in the deepest levels of the dungeon, to the weakest goblins only known for being cannon fodder. Each of these creatures got up to greet the newcomer, because he ordered them to.

Chapter 15: World connection(2)

Once the layer was broken, the first thing the child noticed was the incoming flux of third-order energy. Like breathing in fresh air for the first time after years of breathing in polluted air. The child felt refreshed just from the energy that wandered into the dungeon. When he actively tried to pull in the air, it was a feeling he could not put into words.

But if he had to, he would say, 'It's divine.' Literally.

The second thing he noticed was his ether. Once the layer was broken, the ether in his interior could now flow out. As ether acts like gas in its neutral form, Because this ether was technically his and he had some form of control over it, he was able to use it as his sense medium. Meaning that he could see using his Ether. Thus, with his Ether spread outside, he was able to see everything it came into contact with.

"So many trees... and is that moisture I can feel in the air? The ground is normal, and there seems to be hospitable oxygen. No hostile particles or beings are in the air. And the gravity is tolerable, so I guess this world is hospitable for goblins."

The moment his Ether spread out, the child did a few checks instantly. Which is a bit unnecessary. As most worlds have similar living conditions, Rarely is there much of a difference. This was basic knowledge, even listed in the dungeon inheritance. But the child prefers to do so out of precaution. Who knows, there might come a time when he opens a portal in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

"Hmm... It seems like I lose ownership over my Ether the longer it stays on foreign land." The child sighed. "This means I can't do a full-world search using only my Ether as the medium."

But although this limited his possibilities, he was not dismayed. After all, where his ether cannot reach, his goblins can. And as his goblins have a near-perfect connection with him, he can see through them as he sees through ether.

"Then let's dispatch the troops."

He then ordered all the goblins to go through the blue portal that brought new light to the small space. At first, the goblins hesitated. This was the first time they saw such a thing after all. It was new and unknown. Although they felt like they knew it somehow, courtesy of goblin inheritance, they were still not sure if they should.

To break their fear, the child focused his order on one single goblin. Which was the youngest of the three hobgoblins. Out of curiosity, the hobgoblin passed through the gate and found itself on the other side of the portal.

When it came out, the goblins marveled. The sky was so far up and not made of rock. There were lots of thick and tall trees that protruded from the ground and reminded me of the training dummies in the dungeon. There was grass below its feet, which had the same color as its skin. The air was covered in a light mist that mystified the whole area.

Basically, the little hobgoblin was amazed. Rather than an aversion to the unknown, the goblin wanted to explore further. But of course, not before it went back and showed its fellow goblins that it was safe.

Soon, all the goblins crowded the portal. Like the little hobgoblin, they too were shocked at what they were seeing. Out of shock came curiosity.

The one who was seeing the world in their eyes used their curiosity to control them to do his bidding.

"Explore," he ordered.

As such, the goblins spread out to explore the misty forest. Due to the orders from the child, they grouped each other into 10 pairs. This was done so thatIf a situation were to occur, the two goblins could help each other. And if they can't help each other, at least one should survive to see what the problem is.

As for the seven left-over goblins, they were the four gob-goblins and three normal goblins. Unlike the other 20 goblins, they were ordered to wait and guard the portal. Since this is a new and unknown world, there could be all sorts of dangers. Leaving the portal unprotected could be a fatal flaw that may very well take him out of this game.

So, the ten goblin scout pairs spread out. Seven watched over the portal.

While the other goblins were scouting, the child ordered one of the seven goblins to look around. This wasn't to just get a good look at the environment, of course, but to collect new resources.

The other scouts also more or less have the same mission, but since some of the goblins were close, the child decided to get some samples quickly.

So, the goblin picked up rocks and grass here and there. Anything the child found interesting was picked up by the goblin. Once he picked up too much, he went back into the portal and delivered the items into the Dunegon core.

The child thus absorbed these new samples, trying his best to understand them.

"I believe I can replicate the soil and stones in this world. The problem I find would be the trees. I was unable to completely understand the grass's components."

Unlike what he expected, he wasn't able to understand how the grass works. This was largely due to the grass containing genes as its core. Since goblins do not have these, this could be considered the first time the child has ever dealt with them. Sadly, this also means he cannot replicate the grass on the ground.

"Does this mean I'll have to continue making air for the goblins?"

Due to his poor interior environment, the child was previously forced to create artificial air using air magic. The end results were satisfactory, and the creation process was not taxing on both his energy and concentration. But that was only for the short term. In the long term, the energy used will be astronomical. It might not seem like much, but some day he might find himself in trouble that could have been avoided if he had more energy. So every drop of third-order energy he could get his hands on was precious. It's better to cut off such an unnecessary cost if he could.

Plus, what if there ever comes a time where he is unable to create air? What shall his goblins do then?

"I guess I should just plant normal plants in my interior. It shouldn't be too hard to create a hospitable environment for them. I will then be able to continue studying plants later."

So the child ordered the goblin to go and find him as many plants as it could find. For better results, he even awarded the goblin with a delicious fruit. Which he ordered the goblin to eat immediately. This way, the others won't find out the results of this work and won't leave their posts for it.

In the end, the goblin brought back a lot of miscellaneous objects. All ranging from seeds, rocks, leaves, tree barks or branches, and even small bugs. Basically, anything the child found interesting to sample

It was at that moment, when the goblin was taking in the bunch of trash to his core, that the child sensed something.

One of the goblins has discovered a big living being.
