Dragonball X: The Ultimate System [Different Path]

At this time, Luke was coming from class, he was currently a college student. Nothing really changed much, he just went to college and went straight home afterward. However, Luke was rushing home now because he ordered something online about 3 weeks ago, and it was arriving today.

Luke had his own car, so he didn't need to take a bus or anything of this sort. It took about 10 minutes to get home, he lived in an apartment alone as most people usually did. Luke checked his mailbox but found that the mail hadn't rung yet, so he had to wait.

Luke sighed, he knew it would arrive today, it had said so on the site he ordered it from, which was amazon. With that, he went up to his room to take a shower and eat. "I ordered some limited edition dragon balls to add to my collectibles, they cost so much for some reason, but it's okay."

Luke had ordered some limited edition Dragonball offline, they were one of its kind, so he bought them. Luke was a Dragonball Z fan and couldn't pass up on adding them to his Dragonball collection.

Luke had Dragon ball z models, like Ss4 Goku, Ss4 Vegeta, and many more. He was too much of a nerd at this point, but he didn't care, it satisfied him. Luke cleaned up and ate a few snacks to kill time.

He had an area that contained many Dragonball Z content, it was strictly for Dragonball Z! Posters, figurines, Dragon balls, and clothing from the show!

"I told that old man downstairs to call me if my package comes, so I should get it one time. I'll just watch a few Dragonball z episodes until then." Luke had a huge essay to write soon, but it was due in 2 weeks so it wasn't all that bad.

No one could find Dragonball z episodes on the television, the only way to watch them was through your computer. Luke had a cable that could connect to the Computer and into his television to stream it on the big screen.

"Haha, you know I have to watch the dub version with Bruce falconer's music in it!" No other way was acceptable to him, it had to be bruce falconer's epic music! Thus, Luke began to watch Dragonball Z.

Time passed quickly, he was already on episode 8!

ring ring!

Suddenly, Luke's apartment phone began to ring, without much thought, he picked it up.

"Ah, yes, mister Lacross, your package has arrived, do you want me to bring it up?" The old man from the desk area finally called.

"Yes! Bring it up, please!" Luke said excitedly

The old man hung up and sometime later, he arrived at Luke's door with the package. Luke thanked the old man greatly and went back into his apartment room.

"Finally, I got these bad boys from Japan, it took way too long for them to get here!" Luke took a knife and carefully opened the package, he didn't want to destroy it and wanted to keep it in good condition.

Once he opened the box, the top was covered by a thin plastic layer than he ripped through. Afterward, inside the box revealed a foam holder that held each Dragonball in place.

The Dragonballs he bought were clear white with blue stars on them. They had the typical looked of Dragonball but were slightly bigger. "Good, they look just like how I saw them, it was worth it after all, and this quality!" Luke was satisfied with this and took them out.

"This material won't break as easy, this is the real deal, it was worth every penny!" Luke sat the box on his bed and went to his Dragonball Z area. This was where all his Dragonball Z things were, even things from the Dragonball series.

"Too bad though, if Dragonball were actually real then, hehe!" Luke smiled strangely and shook his head. "How did it go, come dragon, grant me my wish or something like that?"

Ding!

Luke got up and went to his kitchen to grab his food from the oven. But at that moment, the Dragonball began to glow up in white light. "It's finally done, it takes forever to cook a turkey, this should last me for two days until I go grocery shopping."

He had a full course ready for himself, mac and cheese, turkey, biscuits, and more!

"Gotta let everything cool down first before I can start eating!" Luke looked over and noticed a light coming from his Dragonball area. Of course, he had to check it out. so he did just that.

Luke walked into the room cautiously and saw that the Dragonballs were glowing a white brilliance. Luke was surprised, did it come with some special lighting in it? But, he didn't see or recall that in the description when he was buying it.

Luke put his hand over his eyebrows to cover his eyes, it was just too bright! Suddenly, the light slowly started to die down. Once it was gone, he looked up and saw something that shocked him.

"What!? How!?" What Luke saw was a long white Eastern dragon projecting itself out of the dragon balls! Its eyes flashed with blue light as it looked over at Luke, who was staring at it dumbfoundedly!

"I am Shenra, the dragon from middle realm! I will grant you 3 wishes of any sort! Hurry, I have things and places I need to be!" The dragon may have been small, but it looked like a long small snake, it also had a deep voice!

"What? Are you talking to me?" Luke was stunned and asked.

"Yes, you, the one that's named Luke!" The dragon crossed its arm and replied.

"Haha, you can't be real, is this some hidden tv show?" Luke laughed, was it that old man trying to set him up?

Suddenly, the dragon waved its hand and Luke began to levitate off the ground until he hit the ceiling!

"Ah! okay, my bad, it isn't a joke!" Luke was truly shocked now, but was happy when he thought about those wishes, could it be true!?

"Now, do you understand? This isn't a joke, now quickly state your wishes!" The dragon tapped its arm with its finger impatiently.

Luke was still in disbelief but decided to go with it.

"Okay, my 1st wish is to be transported to the Dragonball Z world! Can you make that happen?" Luke sneered in his heart and said.

Suddenly, the void shook around him as cracks began to form in the air! Suddenly, he was sucked into the dark space, he hollered but that soon ended when he was sucked in.

"What!? Where is this!?"Luke was feeling scared now, this didn't make sense at all.

"You will spawn as a Saiyan soon out of nowhere!" While floating in the strange Void, he heard the dragon's voice.

"Wait! That's not exactly what I want!" Luke said

"Too late, no matter what, you'll have to be a Saiyan, so deal with it!" The Dragon laughed and said.

"Oh! I want to be a Saiyan, I just don't want to spawn randomly! I would like to start off as an infant first to work my way up." This also meant the timeline he was in, he didn't want to randomly placed in a time like where Goku and Vegeta were already divine Saiyans, he would be too far behind and weak!

"If that is the case, you simply have to wish for it!" The dragon said bluntly.

"I wish to be an infant but to be Raditz and Goku's brother. Me and Goku will have to born at the same time, but with me being older!"

"That's a lot of things in one wish!" The dragon spoke with annoyance and anger but agreed, nevertheless.

"Be fortunate that I'm granting you another wish, you damn con artist!"

"Oh thank you! You great and sexy, yet beautiful hunk of a dra..."

"Shut up! What is your last wish!?" Luke didn't get to finish when he was interrupted and hollered at by the dragon.

"Okay, ahem!" Luke ignored the dragon's rage and spoke.

"My last wish is to have a system, but you have to give me a billion currency for the system." Luke smiled and said

"Nope! Not this time, I'll only give you the system! Earn your own damn points!" The Dragon screamed and just when Luke was about to say something, his body distorted and ripples formed around the space he was floating in!

Wzzzz!

"Uh! Where am I now? Dragon, can you please hook it up for me, come on bro!" However, there was no reply, he kept calling out for the dragon but there was nothing!

"Damn, he ditched me!" Just when he wanted to complain more, he heard an alarm.

[Ding! System Loading.... 3%....8%.....15%...32%]

"Ah! There it is, I wonder how it will be?" He knew the basics of a system, so he should have the thing called status.

"Oh, man, I can't let myself die! My mom and dad are going to miss me, sorry guys!" He could have done something else, maybe wish for the world to have a sudden change where people will start having powers or something.

Luke almost settled for being Vegeta's brother but decided on Goku instead.

"Or do I call him Kakarot?" Luke grinned.

"Let's see, status, show me my status!" He had read light novels before so this should be the way.

"I'm weak as heck, this is already a bad start!" He also noticed the low system points, he saw tutorial button but it was in gray!

System, can you talk?" Luke asked, but there was no reply!

"Great! I don't have a talking system guide!" It looked like he would have to learn everything himself!

"Oh! Let's see." There were many different Saiyan looks, like Bardock which was the same as Goku, and more. Luke thought of many Saiyan, he though of Gogeta, Vegito, Cumber and even Broly.

"So many decisions, I guess I'll go with either Gogeta or Cumber!"

[You can make your decision later, but it must be made before the age of 4 or you will be given a random Saiyan scheme from your parent's genetic pool!]

"Okay! Later then!" Luke had no problem with that.

"Huh? What is that light, my body is being pushed to it!" Suddenly, Luke's head saw the light first before his whole body came into view.
