Chapter 2

The next morning they met in the training hall. Good morning said Trinar as Eri walked in. "Good morning" Eri replied. At first, Trinar was testifying ng him but that didn't last long so they moved on to sparring. After lunch, Eri had finished the lessons. The next few days Eri spent learning how to read. With the help of Raxta. On their fifth day in Linteria, there was a testing none of the knights knew what it was. At last, the moment arrived and all of the royal armies were placed in a single file line behind a large egg-shaped stone. The stone was deep black like empty space but at the same time every color of the spectrum. The test was to touch the stone. Eri was near the very back of the line. After an hour or two, it was Eri's turn. When. Eri touched the stone it rocked and cracked a little bit. There was an uproar in the crowd. When he looked back at the stone it cracked the rest of the way and revealed a small lizard-like creature with wings. It was the same color as the shell, but slightly opaque. Eri somehow felt his feelings and new feelings that were not his. Eri picked up what he suspected was a dragon. He decided he would name it Viserion or just Vise for short. Vise purred in agreement like he knew what Eri was thinking. Over the next few days he figured out that vise only liked meat and mostly raw meat. Eri had to go hunting extra. Vise grew like weed though, so soon he would be able to hunt for himself. He realized that when he thought something Vise could hear it and vise-versa, ( get it). One day Eri and Vise were talking (thinking) and decided that Vise was big enough to fly with Eri on his back. When tested this it almost worked but Vise had trouble so they would try again at a later point in time.
