Chapter 7: Who is Black John Doe?

Everyone chatted for a while, and the topic eventually turned to the identity of Black John Doe.

At this point, they still believed that Black John Doe was Ginew, who had swapped bodies with John Doe in the future. They felt confident facing Ginew, as he didn't have the same training environment as they did. With John Doe and the others present, defeating the opponent should be relatively easy.

However, Beerus, while sipping his drink, interjected, "I think you might be mistaken. Black John Doe might not be who you think he is, Ginew."

"What?!" John Doe and the others were taken aback. They turned to look at Beerus and Whis. John Doe asked, "Lord Beerus, have you recognized who he is?"

Whis explained, "I don't know if you noticed, but did you see the ring and earring that Black John Doe was wearing?"

Upon hearing Whis's words, everyone paused to think. Goku spoke up, "He does have a ring and earring, but what's the problem with that?"

Whis continued with a smile, "Haven't you noticed that his earring is the same as the one worn by the Supreme Kai?"

John Doe thought for a moment and said, "Mr. Whis, are you saying that the soul inside Black John Doe's body is actually a Supreme Kai?"

Whis replied, "When Black John Doe first appeared, Lord Beerus and I noticed his situation."

"The ring on his hand is called the Time Ring, and wearing it allows him to travel through time and space. I believe this is why he was able to chase after us from the future to the present."

"The earring on his ear is called the Potara Earring, and both of these accessories are exclusive divine artifacts that only a Supreme Kai can wear."

After hearing Whis's explanation, everyone understood the situation. John Doe asked, "But if the soul inside Black John Doe's body is a Supreme Kai, then who could it be?"

"Up until now, the Supreme Kais we've encountered, aside from our own Shin from the Seventh Universe, include the Supreme Kai from the Sixth Universe. However, neither of them seems to harbor any hatred towards humans, right?"

Beerus spoke up, "I don't think the soul inside him is a Supreme Kai. If a Supreme Kai hated humans, there wouldn't be any humans left in his universe."

"If a Supreme Kai dared to do such a thing, he wouldn't be able to avoid the Destroyer God and the Angels."

"If the Destroyer God and the Angels found out, the Grand Priest and Zeno would also know. They wouldn't allow a Supreme Kai like that to exist."

Beerus continued after a moment of thought, "So, there's only one possibility. There's a god who deeply hates humans and is close to the Supreme Kai. He killed the Supreme Kai, took the ring and earring, and then wished to swap bodies with John Doe. Finally, he went to the future world where Trunks lives and started massacring humans."

After hearing Beerus and Whis's analysis, everyone nodded in agreement. John Doe said, "Since that's the case, we need to investigate which god would have such thoughts. At least in this world, we must nip this in the bud."

At this moment, Future Trunks spoke up with a pained expression, "But why did he go to my world?"

Whis explained, "That's because in your world, there is no Destroyer God."

Whis continued his explanation, "This involves the normal and abnormal deaths of Supreme Kais."

"In Trunks's future world, Shin died at the hands of Dabura. Engaging in combat is not the duty of a Supreme Kai, but he took the risk and ended up dying.
