14 - The Invincible Udon Blocks The Way

Both Jesse and Udon stared at each-other, both waiting for the other to strike. Udon wore a confident but stupid expression.

Jesse sweated slightly.

'Whats up with this dude, he's clearly just waiting for me to attack, probably has something planned…'

Jesse began to focus himself, bettering his ki sense somewhat.

'Wait, this guys got even less energy then Candle had, so he's gotta be pretty weak!'

"Alright, I'll play your game Scream or whatever your name was… and I'll attack first!"

Jesse immediately confidently rushed forward with his fist up. With max power he launched his fist at the hulking man's stomach. Yet the man did nothing, and even when his fist made contact, nothing happened.

"Hehehe, that tickles little kid!"

Jesse's eyes widened as he launched another punch at his stomach. Once again, no effect. Again and again he attacked but nothing happened.

"UDON'S TURN!!!"

Suddenly Udon's energy increased tremondously and he swiped his arm forward, striking Jesse and launching him into the wall. The wall cracked as he slammed into it and got back up, holding his chest in pain.

"Seems y-you're… haaa… somewhat stronger than I thought."

He began to breath heavier, he was in a good bit of pain, Udon's attack had a lot of power to it. Udon had a happy, stupid grin on his face as he laughed at Jesse's pain.

"Udon is inviniciiiiiibleeee!!! Woooohoooo!!!"

'What is he a child?'

Jesse realized that was a somewhat funny thought, seeing as he actually was a child here. He had no time to dwell on humor however so he got near Udon again, this time he'd wait for him to attack.

'So is he hiding his power from me until the moment he attacks? Why would he do that… whats the point?'

As he thought and thought, he realized that Udon was once again doing absolutely nothing but staring at him.

"Uhhh, aren't you gonna attack me or something?"

Jesse was pretty confused as to what was happening in this battle, maybe there was some kind of secret to his strength he was preparing?

"I don't… I don't feel attacking! How about you do it instead!"

Why wouldn't he wanna attack? It wasn't like Udon's previous was some kind of genius counter or anything.

'Wait… maybe thats it!'

Jesse made a sudden realization and immediately went to testing it, focusing all of sense on the energy of his punch, he rushed forward and punched Udon right in the stomach, then stood there in front of him. As he focused on his energy, he could feel something strange happening to it. Udon attacked once again, trying to swipe his arm at his chest. However, this time it was weaker and slower and Jesse was able to flip backwards to avoid it.

"Alright, I see what you're doing! You're absorbing the energy of my punches and then using them against me, aren't you?!"

This and variations of it were actually pretty common abilities in the world of Dragon Ball, so it wasn't a stretch for him to figure it out so quickly. Udon smirked proudly and responded passionately.

"Hehe, you'd be right! All your force! Explosions, punches, everything, I absorb it all! Not only that, but my skin is resistant to laser guns and bullets, you can't do anything to me! And you wanna know the extra topping on the cake? My tendrils are absorbing any force from the walls too! So you can't go around me either idiiiioooot! I'm invinciiiibleee! Komikuuu!"

Jesse smirked cockily, but he was clearly somewhat nervous, he had no idea how he was gonna hurt him.

"Well I can just not attack your fat ass now can't I?"

"Oh yes maybe, but we'll just be at a stand still then, and you're the one that wants to get past me riiiight?"

Udon mocked him as palmed his face and thought.

'If he absorbs punches and explosions… he absorbs blunt force I guess. He said he was immune to lasers and bullets, but those would just be from guns, so maybe… maybe if I can make a ki beam I could "pierce" through him...'

He'd quite literally never made any ki attacks at all yet, but this was the only thing he could think of.

"Alright fine, I won't punch you, I won't hit you at all, I'll do something else."

He closed his fist tightly and began to focus all of his energy in his fingers, closing his eyes too. Udon looked on awkwardly as he felt some kind of power begin to rise.

"Uh so what exactly are you doing…?"

He asked, very casually, as if he wasn't trying to kill him.

"Oh you'll see, you'll see in just a second!"

'Probably… I don't know if I can do this at all…'

Jesse had three expressions mixed into one at the moment. His cocky smile, his nervous face and something of a sadistic glare. He was clearly somewhat frustrated as he tried to focus his energy. Both of them just stood there for 5 whole minutes, Udon just looking awkwardly and Jesse focusing as hard as he could.

Suddenly, Jesse's eyes burst open, he felt it. His hand sparked wildly with energy as he pointed his shaking fingers at Udon.

"If I cant go around you, or push you… I'll just go through you!"

A yellow beam of energy burst from his finger, zooming towards the hulking pink man's stomach.

"W-What the hell?! A laser from his fing-"

He was interrupted by the small hole now pierced through his body, the beam had made a clean shot through his stomach.

"Aghhhhh!!!"

He screamed out in pain as his eyes looked like they were bursting from his skull.

"Thats just the start! Still gotta…"

Jesse yelled then rushed forward, shoving both his hands into the hole he'd made.

"Still gotta get through you!"

Both his hands pushed out, opening a large hole in his stomach which Jesse quickly jumped through. That sadistic, cocky and nervous stare from moments ago disappeared as he ran off away from Udon.

"See ya later! Well probably not, but bye, you were a decent fighter!"

He said before disappearing through the hallways. Udon was left there in immense pain, Jesse's hands opening a hole in him had deepened his already bad pain and he was bleeding profusely. As Udon grunted and yelled, he began to feel his body shut down.

"A-Agh…! B-Bast...ard..."

The life left his eyes and he fell over with a massive thud, completely dead. Meanwhile, Jesse was rushing as fast as he could towards the only other large energy in the building, Pictoro.
