Chapter 5 Shameless Family

"Since my bracelet is so ordinary, tell me why you saw fit to steal it and give it to her? Don't you have enough money to maybe... I don't know, but something for her? But no! You had to go through my things with your filthy hands and steal my stuff?!" Neveah yelled, her voice pitched higher and higher the more she spoke.

She was incensed, raged, how dare they?

"Well... You see... I..." Serena stuttered, she didn't know what to say and she was scared. She had never seen Neveah this angry nor did she know what to do.

"Ha! Why did I fear you all these while? You can't even speak straight! What? Cat got your tongue, Serena?" Neveah called her name and Serena turned red in the face.

You know that moment when you realize that the person you had always controlled was no longer under your control, and you get angry?

Yes... That's exactly what's happening here. For Neveah to call her ex's mother by her name, it meant that she had broken free. She didn't want to be under their control anymore.

She wanted to be free from their nagging about her inability to get pregnant.

"Right here and right now, I am breaking up with your stupid cloud chasing son in front of all of you. Remember this, I am the one who broke up with you and not the other way around! Now move away before I get angry and beat you up." Neveah kicked Liam's feet away as she turned around to walk back to her room... Not her room anymore, to the room where she kept her belongings.

However, that was a huge mistake. The moment she turned, the second child of the family,Leah, the only daughter grabbed her hair and pulled her back.

Neveah yelped in pain as her scalp was pulled by the bratty daughter.

"You fucking bitch! How dare you grab my hair." Neveah screamed and used her finger nails to scratch Leah's face. The girl screamed as well and due to the pain, she let go of Neveah's hair.

But Neveah wasn't done, she grabbed Leah's hair, twisted the strands of her hair around her fingers and pulled, hard. Neveah is a petty girl, and we should have seen this by now.

"Ow ow ow, stop pulling on my hair! You're hurting me!" Leah flailed her arms as her face turned red. The part where Neveah scratched had begun to bleed.

"You should have thought about the pain before you pulled my hair you freaking girl! But don't worry, I'll be done with you soon!" Neveah didn't relinquish her hold over her hair for close to three minutes.

Even as Leah continued to scream and beg, her parents did nothing other than stand still, even Liam was shocked and Lily... Well Lily had a mix of expressions and they all went through her face within seconds.

In the span of some hours, she had beat up both the mother, the daughter and her sister. What a good lady!

Girls, don't let other people trample on you when they are in the wrong! Be like Neveah!

Now, after Neveah let the girl go, she shifted back and no one dared to go next to her. They stared at her like she was some sort of rabid animal and even the father, was scared. They were all wimps!

"I have no idea why I stayed quiet or even feared you all! You are all lazy and stupid, you don't even deserve my money! Lily, congratulations on entering a family such as this, I hope you'll be able to wear your designer clothes and shoes after I leave cause I'm sure I won't be buying those for you anymore!" Neveah went back to the storage room and removed all her belongings.

It wasn't easy for her to take everything she owned out by herself, but she would leave.

As she left, she eyed each and everyone one of them, stared into their eyes for about five seconds before her eyes rested on Liam's. He shrunk back and Neveah scoffed.

"What a wimp. You know, I think you should get surgery for that dick of yours, they look and also feel like my pinky finger. It's too small that I never enjoyed it, maybe that's why you sperm never got too far." Neveah enjoyed seeing the shocked and embarrassed look on Liam's face as she strutted out of the house and immediately went into the taxi.

She put a hand over a chest to calm her racing mind. Although she was all brave and courageous in there, she was actually a bit scared that they would all gang up on her. So she had to leave as fast as she could.

"Stupid! Stupid! You don't have any place to stay right now so why did you leave so angrily?" She banged her head on the steering wheel repeatedly.

"I can always stay in a hotel though... But till when? I need to get a house, Asap! But which hotel am I gonna go to? I don't know much about these things." She mumbled and brought out her phone.

She could search up some hotels and their reviews.

"Yes, let's do that." Neveah searched up on the hotels around her and as she swiped left, her mouth moved, "Too expensive. Too expensive. The reviews are bad. Too expensive. This hotel doesn't look good. Too expensive. Arghhh! Why is everything so damn expensive! What should I do now? Should I actually sleep under a bridge?"
