Arc 1-chapter 12

A book appeared infront of me , it seems she can't see the book either, good. This is the cultivation method of 'Divine cultivation technique' , here the concept of 'law' cultivation is even deeply mentioned .

From what the goddess is saying , I think this world still has a limit in 'law' cultivation too but she doesn't know that .This world's law energy is inferior compared to upper realms law energy but still, once you cultivate in upper realm your cultivated law will get an upgrade and you can cultivate way easier since it will be extremely difficult to cultivate laws in upper realms but

I can't see it the next levels after formation of divine spark , it is locked with requirement of either traveling to upper realm or reaching 'Martial ancestor' realm . either of them are impossible now. Even though Spiritual gods are immortal in this realm , they can still be killed when their divine spark is completely shattered or when another person completely cultivated their law. If that's the case, then I don't think there are any Spiritual gods present, atleast in the glory city. So, why is she using astral projection?

Tian- If you don't mind , Goddess Meirong . You said spiritual gods are immortal but you are...

Meirong- I understand your concern . Currently , my divine spark is shattered . The 'law energy' is slowly gathering and forming my Divine body , I should have died a long ago but I already know the limits of my power and set myself a safe place. However..... hey , little boy I have a favour to ask you , in return I will help you cultivate my law.

Tian- what? why so suddenly? you don't even know me , you just met me , from what you said , it means you will die, right?.

She formed a sad expression, I'm not falling for that it could be a lie or she might try to use me because what she is saying is pure suicide.

In this dog eat dog world where even your parents will abandon you if you are weak , she wants to teach me someone who appeared out of no where a way to become immortal by sacrificing her own life ? isn't it a joke of the century.

I might have been biased in my view by reading too many novels about cultivation worlds but in every cultivation world , even your own lover will back stab you for resources and knowledge but here she is , saying to some nobody who appeared suddenly giving a way to cultivate her law .

wait? she might wait for me to cultivate enough of her law , then she might try to absorb the energy completely reconstructing her body ? in this world everything is possible.

Meirong- I know but I have no choice. To be honest , I don't believe my Divine spark will ever gather in less than 20,000 years , It is way long time . You are a kid but your soul force is superior and I can't tell your cultivation but seeing you made it here , you must atleast gold rank spiritualist. I only want to have your word on one thing I ask.

Tian- What is it that you want so desperately that you can't wait?

Meirong- I want you to save someone dear to me . I want you to save that person , atleast try saving , you have what it takes , I hope , atleast. I don't think anyone else will ever reach this place. that person will recover completely in more or less than 1000 years but I might not be there for that person . If you cultivate my law , you can become a Spiritual god . If you accept this, I only expect you to save that person.

Tian- What if my words are just empty promises?Why are you trusting me , doing all this without any profit for yourself?

She became silent , I expected her to get angry at me and threaten me but to my surprise she didn't. She just had a hollow expression and smiled .

Meirong- Atleast, I tried something to help , right.

So , she is helpless and desperate. I don't think I need her support to cultivate laws ,I already have a technique and resources to cultivate two laws and that is more than enough for me .

Considering todays situation, it is true that I need a mentor in martial arts , she also mentioned that she was a healer which translates to doctor. -Huh! why am I seeing her worth like that? Am I slowly thinking like people of this world ? If I help her so that it can advantageous for me , isn't it same as treating Geniuses well and poor talents like trash .

I have a deep feeling inside of me to help her because she is different from people of this murderous world , this might all be an act , atleast I did something I wanted to do , not for personal gain . Then , why is the first reason I think about her is personal gain ?

Shaking of my fluctuating thoughts , I decided to help her , it doesn't matter if she teaches me something or not . I just whole heartedly want to save her now. If its all an act , that's another matter.

From the book I received , this world's power of law basics are inscriptions. If I am able to study her inscriptions, then I can reconstruct her body later with the techniques I learnt. However ,I can't do this immediately, I need atleast one year of time .

Tian- Hey , Goddess Meirong. You need to save a person right ?

Meirong- Yes , I will tell you about-

Tian- Then why don't you do it yourself. I know this sounds absurd but I think I have a way to reconstruct your body .

Meirong- No! it is impossible to do that . My divine body is made of laws , it can't be tampered so easily by anyone.

Tian- Yes , I can't do it at this point of time since you know ,I'm still a kid but once I have enough time ,I can try.

Meirong- That is impossible!There is nothing you can do about it . There is no point in doing this.

Tian- It is the same as your idea , there is no point in trusting strangers . You can only depend on yourself , if you still don't belive me , I can be your ally in your future when you need help .

Meirong- ...Then , I want to ask the same question you asked me . Why are you trusting me , doing all this without any profit for yourself?

Tian- May be , it is because.... I don't think, I will ever come across a person like you in this world . Even, if you are trying to trying to deceive me , I don't think you are lying about saving someone you know . I might have helped you in a way . Only, you will feel guilty for betraying me and living with it , which is punishment greater than death itself.

I saw her looking at me with eyes , I never recieved in this world up until now . The look that contains gratitude and tenderness .

Meirong- You know , when I speak to you, I don't feel like I'm talking to a kid . You are right , I should probably try it myself and take action .
