Chapter 61: Rose Family Reaction

Remnant is the future-fantasy world of RWBY, with airships, gadgets, high-tech weaponry, and a form of natural energy called Dust existing side by side.

This planet was a beautiful experiment, but it is merely a remnant of what it once was.

According to Ozpin, the race known as Humanity was created by two brothers the early history of Remnant has been long forgotten, with recollections being passed down in the form of myths and legends.

Legend states that mankind was born from dust into a hostile world, forced to battle for survival against soulless creatures of darkness known as the Grimm.

However, man discovered a power that would help them combat the forces of darkness; they named their newly discovered power, Dust, after that from which they were formed.

Armed with Dust, described as "Nature's Wrath", mankind was able to turn the tide against the Grimm.

While the Kingdoms of Remnant were monarchies in the past, they have since been dissolved at some point following the Great War and the founding of the Huntsmen Academies in favor of each Kingdom being governed by its council.

Each Kingdom has a governing council that represents the needs of its people.

The powers and responsibilities of these councils, as well as how members are appointed, were not stated. However, it was later revealed that the Headmaster of each Huntsman Academy has one seat on the council.

The exception to this was in Atlas, where the Headmaster of Atlas Academy, James Ironwood, had two council seats due to also being the General of the Atlas Military. The council members are voted for by the citizens of the Kingdom in the form of an election.

Apart from Huntsmen, conventional militaries are also known to exist, but not all of the Kingdoms keep standing armies. The Kingdom of Atlas was known to maintain a sizable military force, fielding a large air fleet, as well as robotic soldiers and mechs before its destruction.

Although the world was said to originally be in an unprecedented state of peace, social issues seriously threatened the status quo - racial tensions between the Faunus and Humans caused by continuing prejudice in society, the plots of various criminal organizations such as the Wave, the Hana Guild, and The Crown, the immoral practices of the Schnee Dust Company, as well as agitation from the White Fang terrorist group, continued to cause friction in society.

The Grimm still thrive in the wild areas outside the territory of the Four Kingdoms, whilst plotting by mysterious groups threatened them from within. The future of Humanity is heavily contingent upon the continued cooperation of the Four Kingdoms.

Remnant has a vibrant culture owing to the diversity of its inhabitants. Each of the four Kingdoms has a unique identity and this distinctive character is encouraged by events such as the Vytal Festival, where the people of Remnant gather to celebrate their cultures.

Given the importance of Huntsmen and Huntresses in mankind's continued existence, part of this celebration also includes a combat tournament between students of the Kingdoms' respective academies.

A significant part of Remnant's worldwide culture is the practice of naming children after colors.

During the Great War, attempts by tyrannical oppressors to limit individualism and self-expression were met by a violent backlash from the populace.

In response to persecutors' attempts to destroy art, people began to name their children after a fundamental element of art - color - sending the message that the next generation would also fight to prevent the destruction of their individuality.

There is a significant amount of discrimination towards Faunus in Remnant's past and present. Since the Faunus War, in which they gained freedom by law, Faunus have continued to face discrimination and exploitation from Humans.

Whether this is the norm or the actions of a minority is unknown; however, it is enough to cause some Faunus to turn to the terrorist group, the White Fang.

The Kingdom of Mistral and the former Kingdom of Atlas are considered the most discriminatory towards the Faunus, having signs in many of their establishments labeled No Faunus.

By contrast, Remnant appears to be a very egalitarian world when it comes to the sexes, as seen at Beacon Academy.

Both sexes share locker rooms, and teams that have both sexes in them share dorm rooms. There never appears to be animosity from men towards women or women towards men based on sex.

Remnant has a wide variety of advanced technologies. The Kingdom of Atlas, in particular, is known for its technological advances in numerous fields. Most technology is powered by Dust, which is the primary source of energy in Remnant.

One of the most significant examples of Remnant's technology is the weapons of Huntsmen and Huntresses that transform for versatility.

Meanwhile at the Xiao Long Cabin where it's located in a forest on the island of Patch in the Kingdom of Vale. It is the home of Taiyang Xiao Long, Yang Xiao Long, and Ruby Rose they were having a big problem.

The kitchen is a large room that also doubles as the dining area. It is accessible by a doorway leading from the living room.

On the wall to the immediate right of the door is a shelving unit containing various books and another doorway, with a small landscape painting tucked away in the corner. A shovel can be seen leaning against this wall as well.

In front of the archway are a large yellow rug, a mid-sized wooden dining table decorated by a matching yellow table runner and a green bowl containing various fruits, and a pair of chairs with green cushions.

A landscape decorates the wall next to a large window behind the chairs on the wall opposite the archway, with cream curtains, next to a door leading outside. A coat rack is attached to the wall on the other side of the door with two coats hanging from the hooks.

The far end of the room contains numerous benches which wrap around the outer two walls. A large stove sits in the middle of the benches on the side and a sink occupies the center of the other side.

Both are directly beneath a window, though only the stove window is curtained. The wall behind the sink is decorated with a brick-style splashback and also supports five overhead cabinets. A drying rack sits on the right side of the sink. A large refrigerator is tucked in the corner against the wall opposite the sink.

At the table Tai, the father of his two daughters was already at the table preparing breakfast in the morning as Yang was already waiting as he yells out for Ruby, "Ruby Rose hurry up and get your breakfast of pancakes with cookies!"

Hearing her voice she spoke through going to the downstairs as she gulps her saliva being nervous of their reactions, "Coming and would you please not freak out when I come out dad and Yang…"

Listening to that Tai just openly jokes at Ruby before he got the chance to see her with clear surprise in his voice, "Oh come on now baby girl it can't be that – WHO THE HECK ARE YOU!!!"

*Bam*

*Thud*

*Splat*

Coming out in her full new appearance Ruby comes out wearing her new sports pajamas with number 1 on it with the words RUBY on it across her well big chest area as Tai saw this as he dropped the frying pan to the ground as the pancake landed on Yang's hair as she saw her innocent baby sister suddenly grew up.

Coughing out a storm Yang quickly rushes over to Ruby checking her out especially her more round-out features with some concern in her voice to her little sister, "RUBY! What the hell happened to you! You got bigger and your body is wha! I mean did you go through puberty and got what!"

Ruby for her part is being easily embarrassed as Yang began to properly examine her little sister's ass groping it and her breast as the clear shock was written on her face, "Holy crap your ass is as big as mine and… Whoa! Puberty is benefiting you there… I think it might be bigger… Wait fuck then I have to protect your innocence!!"

Tai managed to get himself together as he quickly shook his precious little angel like a man shaking a soda to pop open with concern written on his face, "Ruby! That's you like what! I mean did puberty hit or wha… like did you suddenly grow up but what!"

The situation was confusing them greatly as Ruby was being embarrassed and Yang not stopping groping her made her a bit uncomfortable but more so the fact that she had better assets than her sister currently despite being 15 years old.

Thinking about this clearly, she began to explain to Tai being as completely reasonable as possible to her father… by lying, "Dad… it was Yang's fault that made me this way…"

*Creak*

It was as if the two froze solid as Tai slowly goes over to Yang's direction as she sweats bullets not understanding how it was her fault as Ruby thought to herself, 'Sorry Yang but I'm going to need to drop your ass under the bus. Call it even for making me eat that Devil Fruit and speaking of fruits…'

Ruby began to tear up getting Tai's attention while Yang was so confused as fuck what happening right now as Ruby began to blame Yang, "Dad remember yesterday I was having stomach problems from eating a fruit that Yang made me swallow? You see it swirls all around it and when I ate it… the fruit made me into this and it was yang's fault how and what's happening to me! Ahh!!!"

Tai slowly looked at Yang as she began to sweat profusely not even sure what Ruby said was right or not completely being used as a scapegoat here.

*SWOOSH*

*SWOOSH*

Without so much for a few seconds, the two left as they screamed throughout the house as Ruby casually eats her breakfast talking to herself in a prideful tone, "Huh? So this is what it feels like to enjoy suffering on others huh? Maybe I should listen to Saeko more often."

"YANG COME BACK HERE FOR A SPANKING OF THE LIFETIME!!!"

"WHAT DID I DO I NEVER MEANT FOR RUBY TO BECOME – "

It was at that moment Yang was finally caught as Tai managed to depants her showing her yellow bright panties as Yang saw him whip out his belt clearly angry.

That was when he slapped his belt on Yang behind as a loud slap sound resounded the house...

"SLAP!!"

"AHHH!!!!"

With that, it sounds like Tai caught up with Yang and began to spank the living shit out of her as Ruby calmly enjoys the sounds as she eats her food, "Huh? Maybe I should do this how sadist thing with Saeko more often I can see why she enjoys it. And ouch those slamming of being spank must hurt. Call it to pay back Yang for making me eat that disgusting fruit. Oh! Cookies!"

*Yum*

A/N: Well here's how it went down for Ruby talking about how she grew up as well as taking payback for Yang making her eat the Hard-Hard Fruit by mistake and lessons from Saeko in the process. Scary Ruby very scary... punishment by belt spanking. Ouch.
