Runes began to swirl about, and it was then that the two seeds appeared once more. Rather than taking shape in Leonel's kidneys like before, they took root in where his heart had once been.
It was then that the resources Leonel had swallowed finally began to play their largest role.
They rolled in from the surroundings, being poured into Leonel's body one step after another. Leonel should have been overwhelmed; he should have been crushed beneath the might of all the energy that he was consuming.
