I begin to laugh in disbelief and it's not even an act as I currently have the world-renowned smartest demon and most beautiful based on reputation as well as an empress currently with a finger twirling my hair as I palm her ass. she assumes I am laughing at her calling herself Catherine so she doesn't find it too weird but she does wiggle a bit and I have to suppress an erection or we likely will have to stop cuddling.

"I am being serious Nova, look here is the shadow cloak that I use that alone proves my identity." she pulls out a lightweight cloak that is dark and very smooth but other than that I can't tell much just looking at it. but to my surprise, as I reach for the cloak I get a prompt.

"What? no." Catherine looks at me oddly as I dismiss the prompt so I don't rob her. "I mean, no way this is real is it?" she snorts as she rolls off me and stands up from the bed and slings on the cloak, and disappears, I scan for her sin and when I don't see it I try all-seeing eye and am even more shocked to not see her with that as well.

"See, the real thing." she reappears in the same spot and stores the cloak before sliding back into the bed. I am terrified at the notion of an item that can hide from both of my ways of locating people that I thought would always give me an edge in this world. taking a deep breath I just lean back down and close my eyes and cheer for the small victory that at least this specific artifact belongs to Catherine and not someone I have to fight.

"Alright, so you're the empress of the dark shadow empire." she nods "and you want to reincarnate as a devil?"

"Well I am so long as what you are saying is the truth, if you're telling the truth about the life span and the strength gained and potentially a new power then I have no reason to deny. the only thing that would make me deny a situation like this is if the person I would be tying myself to was revolting and scheming something that would hurt my empire's people. but from everything you told me you are doing the opposite and trying to help if only to save yourself and potentially your people." she lets that sink in for a moment as she awkwardly grabs my hand. "and also if it a permeant bond the piece will create between us then it gives me the chance to fully put my trust in you and try to have an actual relationship, given that you swear to me that you have no foul intentions toward my people and won't try to harm them in any way. that's my bottom line is I would rather kill myself than be the reason that they suffer because I decided for my gain. if I did that then I would be no better than my family that I killed in the name of making the empire a better and safer place to live."

That is a lot to take in, she is willing to have a real relationship because she wants to and also for the benefit of her empire. at least that is the vibe I am getting and honestly, when it comes to her that's probably going to be the best you're going to get from her till she is more emotionally invested. we haven't known each other long enough to say we love one another but she is willing to try. it sounds screwed if you don't know from the story that she wants to have a real family that she can love but can't go for it because of her responsibility and yet she is reaching out to try with me which is quite a big leap from not knowing each other.

I buy a set of black potions and pull them out setting them on her smooth stomach, feeling something cold she leans up to see what I did and seeing them I notice she doesn't take it in what they are. picking one up with her free hand she turns it around and spots the label and turns to look at me confused.

"I haven't proofed it yet but if you drink those before reincarnation then you should be able to drink them again after the fact. I know for a fact devil fruits work before and then again after so it should work so go ahead and drink those and then I will slide my piece inside you." her lips quirk into a small grin before she puts the bottle to her mouth and pulls the top off with her teeth not letting go of my hand with the other.

I buy a mutant queen piece for a massive twenty-five thousand and that leaves me with half of my sin gone I gained some more and a lot at that when I was getting it on with the empress. putting aside the gains of devouring the lust of Catherine I pull out the mutant queen piece as Catherine is pulling out another stopper having finished two of the four potions. the tent is instantly lit with an ominous black glow that almost tingles as it sits in my palm. Catherine getting spooked by the random energy while pulling the stopper yanked it almost spilling the eternal strength potion.

"Shit! what the hell Nova, warn me before doing something like that I almost spilled this." she looks at the piece as she downs the potion, letting go of my hand she grabs the last one and finishes it off as well. "that sure feels like what something called an evil piece should." I nod in agreement feeling that there is a massive change between these and the normal queens, it almost makes me regret buying normal ones for the other girls but they can still mutate on their own naturally. at least I hope so since that's how they worked in the canon of DxD.

I sit up after putting the pillows behind my back, setting the piece out of the way I pull Catherine up into my lap and bring the piece up to her chest.

"You sure you want to be my queen? once this piece goes inside you you're stuck with me for pretty much forever as far as I am aware. maybe if you got to god tier you could pull it out but that would take time and I will be bugging you till then." she looks down at the piece and readjusts her position so she is comfortable.

"Yes Nova I am sure, what do I have to do to start this process?" as she agrees I confirm that I want to reincarnate her and the piece floats on its own, I wrap my arms around her midriff and watch it slowly move toward her.

"Nothing just wait for the magic to happen." the queen makes its way in between her breasts as it sinks into the skin and the light in the tent dies out leaving us in darkness. we both sit quietly both of us expecting something absurd to happen next. getting a bit nervous at the lack of change she leans to the side and turns to look at me and I shrug. "no clue what will happen since you are the strongest I have ever reincarnated and also you are being slowly refilled after rebuilding yourself. might be the fact you are empty that is making it act differ-." a massive tsunami of demonic energy floods out rattling everything in the tent and begins to blow things around before coming to an abrupt stop.

She gained Starsend Moment, honestly, I have zero clue what it does but since it's DxD, it's probably broken. wait her black phoenix is spelled like DxD Phenex clan, that shouldn't be the case unless it changed after becoming a devil since the Asmodeus here is spelled and related to Phoenix spelled like the ancient bird of fire and rebirth.

"How do you feel?" I look around the room and notice that my clothes got ripped to shreds along with other items but the bed and our bodies weren't affected as much, likely a subconscious effort to not hurt herself.

"I don't know how strong I would have been with just the rebirth since I didn't fully recover, but I was already thinking it was a massive increase of power achieving my fourth nirvana but this is something different. I feel like I have completely changed and was remade out of a different material, but overall this energy I am feeling is at least twice as large if not more and I still need to compare how strong the energy is. if the size is anything to go off of then I could have easily doubled including the nirvana plus black potions and the queen piece. to be honest, I would have been excited for half that much, but this is a ridiculous jump." I can't really wrap my head around the full picture but if she doubled overall then that is a huge jump.

She suddenly looks shocked and immediately pulls out the shadow cloak, after turning it around a few times she channels demonic energy into it and nothing happens. a look of dread crosses her face before a golden puppet appears in her hands and she tosses it and as it filled with demonic energy it grew to massive size. as it finished growing it begins to spasm and morph till its form goes from a bulky featureless body to a muscle covered giant with wings. she stares at it shocked before tossing three more, which also changed into new winged forms.

"Well that is new." she observes them a bit more before looking down at the cloak and a sad look adorns her face. "I can't use the family artifact anymore, I will have to train someone loyal to the family to wield it so if there is a need they can fight with it." I reach for it and the prompt returns and an idea forms in my head.

"Hey, can I try something real quick? if it goes horribly I can try to compensate you with something close in value." I remember the Immortal Dark Gold War Puppet I got from Dodo and plan to trade it for the cloak since I can't use the puppet anyway. the puppet is the equivalent of the wielder of its physical power if I remember right and it cant be damaged. so it's the ultimate tank and Catherine's strength should be the highest minus hidden demigod tiers and their servants that stay in the shadows. with the puppet and her other gold puppets she likely can beat current Raizen, the leader of the bloody empire said to be the strongest.

"What do you want to try?" she looks hesitant but reluctantly hands the cloak to me even before I explain.

"To try and fix this." I agree to the prompt and the shadow cloak disappears, once it's gone a few new prompts appear.

"What the hell." I pull the cloak back out and intuitively know how to use it. it can use space to conceal the wielder and also can use space to attack or escape. It's the perfect item for assassination or thieving, I practice and disappear under Catherine and she looks startled before I reappear. I drape the cloak back on her and brush her hair out of the way. "see if you can use it now or if I broke it more."

"How did you do that, and why are your ears different now?" I reach up for my ears and feel a slight point and try to come up with a reason for this before I remember I gained the Asmodeus bloodline and it must have been the DxD one where that one Asmodeus looked like an elf with dark hair. I throw out my wings and see two sets confirming the suspicion of my now royal bloodline. as I am observing my changes Catherine disappeared and reappeared proving that the artifact has been changed to work for devils with Asmodeus blood now.

"Seems I was able to change the artifact to devils with Asmodeus bloodline and also I happened to gain said bloodline which cause my ears to gain a point for some reason." I look at her ears seeing a slight point and lean in and nibble it causing her to squirm before pushing me off.

"How did you possibly do that Nova? don't act as if you didn't just do something extremally serious to the Asmodeus family artifact, and can you change it back if needed?" I debate a good excuse that doesn't contradict my previous stories and remember what I said when I first came here.

"Remember how I said I qualified to come to this realm?" she nods. "well it's because I have a special power that can interact with items that are said to combine to become a weapon to end the Abyss. but we didn't know their names or looks just that the prophet pointed me out and sent me along, here I am and now I found the first one being your family's artifact."

"Your serious?" I nod feeling bad on the inside but the alternative is saying I somehow ended up in this world with a system and that is just unbelievable no matter how I explain it so this lie is the one I am sticking to. "how many items is there? I know that the royal family artifacts are all a set in that one is a chest plate another is boots and so on so one person could wear them all and you showing that you could use the Asmodeus one leads me to believe that you're telling the truth. which also means your likely telling the truth about Abyss which is terrifying."

"I don't know to be honest but if your right then it should be the full set of family items which makes things complicated."
