"Nothing is wrong I just think I got somehow affected by what we just did and was trying to think of what it could be." I plan to show her my new Phenex trait healing so she will be even more interested in me, at this point it shouldn't be too hard to get her to reincarnate since she will only stand to gain from it.

"You got affected by sex? why are you so surprised don't most men get affected by sex?" I am briefly taken aback at how casual she is talking now but I guess having sex with someone can do that in reality, in the original story she tried to kill the MC but then felt pity for him and saved him with her blood which gave him a healing factor. speaking of the healing factor I pull out a dagger from my inventory and Catherine goes wide-eyed but doesn't move as I put it on my chest since one of my arms is busy feeling up her ass.

As I make a gash across my chest Catherine reaches for my hand to stop me but when flames light up from the wound as if my insides are on fire and the wound heals leaving only some steam and then looking the same as before I was wounded. Catherine is shocked and then rubs her hand across the previously wounded area.

"This is new? I didn't see you use this before when he injured your side." she moves her hand down my chest to the spot where Broc had injured me as she looks up waiting for an answer. in an attempt to get her to stop feeling me up, I use my hand that's on her behind to pull her up and on top of me as I wrap my arms around her lower back and lay my head down, and relax.

"Yea it kind of reminds me of the power the Phenex clan has and that is a bit interesting since I wasn't expecting to awaken a Phenex trait." she slides her hands under me and hugs me back as she lays her head on my chest with the top of her head under my chin.

"What's the Phoenix clan like? the Asmodeus family are known as the black phoenixes since our nirvana flame heals and has the aspect of rebirth."

"They are spelled differently and are a devil clan with the blood of a phoenix that allows them to have healing flames of immortality and also a high affinity for fire and wind." she nods showing she heard me but keeps silent as we embrace, now is probably the best time to bring up the queen piece. after Broc, I have enough for the black potions and a mutant queen piece so it is probably the wise choice since a normal queen will likely not affect her at all. my only concern is if she reaches to beginning of kingdomization how will she get faith to build the kingdom? she has no worshipers and that's a necessity to step on the path of godhood by consuming their faith. I am sure it will be fine, devils demonic energy works off desire anyway so maybe there will be a new path for devils based on desire instead of faith and worship. "hey Christina I got an offer for you if you are interested, might work out even better with your current state of being ' reborn ' by your nirvana."

"What is it Nova?" she slightly shifted when I called her Christina likely being reminded that she is still under the guise of a noblewoman from the empire and not herself. it's funny because she is currently naked and has no disguise at all and even has shifted from the illusion appearance from earlier and looks stunning. her illusion is on the younger side but her real appearance she is showing looks to be in her twenties instead of teens.

"Devils have these things called evil pieces that allow a devil to reincarnate a being into a devil." pausing to allow that to sink in I continue after a moment. " from what I have seen reincarnating demons give them a devils lifespan and physique and some even gain ability's but all get a massive boost in power. it's not my business to pry into why you wanted power or even to use nirvana to increase your lifespan but an evil piece would go a long way with both." the tent goes silent and she doesn't react outwardly so I just hold her and let her think about what I am offering. if I try to over-explain it will smell fishy if I offer a mutant queen piece that does all these amazing things she will be skeptical, or if I reference Shea and Izzy gaining new traits she will think I am up to something so it's better to be casual.

"Can you tell me more about what being a devil would give me? and what I would lose also, I can't consider it if I don't understand what it will do."

"So I will gain an infinite lifespan so long as there is sin to support myself and pretty much all my parameters will go up since I am getting a queen piece?" I nod. " I will also possibly gain a new power that devils have?" another nod. " but I will marry my soul to your soul as you put it." nod... wait what?

"Marry souls?" she sits up exposing herself and making eye contact.

"If our souls are bound as you will be the king I will be the queen what would you call that?" when you put it that way it does kind of sound like marriage.

Taking my silence as an answer she has a small smile and those eyes that carry an aura of a knowledgeable experienced woman who has been through a lot of bullshit momentarily shift into a more comfortable feel. I get lost for a moment before snapping out of it and looking down at her boobs to not get distracted.

"It's a bit different but yea I see where you are coming from but it's not like that's what I am offering." feeling a coldness exude from her I correct myself. "but it would be what I would want it to come to." coldness gone and a snort is heard.

"Alright I am tempted but how does it work? there is some question I need to ask and also something I need to tell you but that can wait till I hear a few answers."

"Ok, shoot what you need to know." she grabs my hands to stop them from molesting her ass.

"What are your goals and are you aligned with any empire or royal family?"

"My goals are complicated but I can explain them even if you won't believe me and as far as alignments I have a few reincarnated devil allies from the royal family's that I am working with to achieve my goals." after letting her think about that I clarified further. "I am subservient to no one even if I am helping and assisting others I could simply stop and walk away after tying some loose ends together. but that would likely end with things heading to a horrible conclusion if my foreknowledge of what is to come is right." she quickly interrupts me.

"wait, you are working with royal family's which is likely Lucifer since you have the dark will and that means fallen angel. but what do you mean a horrible conclusion and foreknowledge?" I can now inform her of the abyss but chances are she won't believe me till I have proof since no one wants to think the apocalypse is coming and saying I saw it in a prophecy from my realm can't be disputed since no one will be able to fact check.

"There is a realm out there that is sealing an army called the Abyss, their goal is the end of all life and to bring about the end times. they take no prisoners or slaves they do not need money or trinkets they only know to kill and conquer. they are to awaken within the next ten years at the latest or three years at the earliest. my goal is to unite the empires of the demon world to face the threat together and prevent the end of everything." she has no response other than her jaw dropping a bit, if she believes me it will take a huge weight off my chest since she is one of the three world leaders.

"Are you serious? I don't see why you would tell me this other than you believe it yourself but where did you even learn about this?" not an immediate denial which is hopeful

"My world has a prophecy and also remnants from when the original war happened before the Abyss got sealed and we tried to find out where they would appear first when they inevitably break out and found a location. it was a different realm but the only way to get there was basically a one-way trip and I got sent since I had the requirements for travel."

"So you got sent on a solo mission with a prophecy in hopes of stopping the Abyss and killing them presumably? why would they only send one that doesn't make sense, shouldn't they have sent enough to make a big difference?" she looks skeptical but I have had plenty of time to prepare for this kind of question.

"That would be true if my people gave a shit about your people. I was sent by an underfunded group who saw a chance in being preemptive and trying to stop the Abyss where they break through instead of what most devils are doing. most devils are fortifying their positions and territory and think that if the Abyss does break out in another realm it would be good for slowing them down to buy more prep time." Catherine is shocked before slowly a chilling aura comes out.

"So they would sacrifice others to buy them time?"

"Yea they would but I am here to prevent that and also to help get ready." She goes quiet before the chill disappears and she lays back down on my chest and sighs.

"I guess most demons would do the same if they were in the same position so not like I can complain." she wraps me back into a hug. "thanks for trying to help the demon world I guess, if you're telling the truth it is extremally important to start preparing but is there any way you could show proof? like if the leaders of the empires were to come together could you prove it so they could come together to deal with the abyss?" feeling a bit depressed that I don't I am reminded of the ancient alchemy city underground near white feather estate and how it has recordings of the abyss and records of the war, with that it could grease the wheels.

"It should be possible to find evidence of the war, there was a realm-traveling civilization that was wiped out and their cities are scattered in the realms so if I could find one here I could prove it. they kept records of the war and even recordings you could watch so if I found it then I could show everyone so they can see the threat first hand." Catherine nods in agreement.

"That would work and I could get you a meeting with the other world leaders so we could get things moving and have a better chance at winning." huh, she is admitting to being Catherine.

"You could get a meeting with the ' other ' world leaders?" I raise my eyebrows and sound as skeptical as possible.

"Yes I could that was what I wanted to tell you if I agreed to be reincarnated as a devil, and since I have decided I would for multiple reasons I will tell you now that I am Catherine the leader of dark shadow." even though I was aware of who she was it is entirely another thing to have her laying butt naked on top of me when she tells me and is agreeing to a ' soul marriage ' all in one sentence.
