Nothing is easy

The blessings took a whole hour before a sign of resolution appeared in the different color pillars, wrapping each student. The hovering students slowly disembarked to the ground, and eventually, their shoes finally contacted the floor inside the runic circle.

Of course, unlike before, the runic circle stayed idle, and not a single blood could be seen flowing in the narrow slit, which was the effect of drawing the pristine floor through a sharp object.

Once they finally landed inside the runic circle, one by one, all the students opened their eyes, and their pupils slowly regained focus. It took them a while when their lips curved into a smile and then leaped enthusiastically, feeling exhilarated for some reason.

Some did not have the same reactions, though, as they depressingly lowered their head accompanied by their down-casted expression.

After all, how could they not feel depressed when they awakened a Common Class Title? The voice that suddenly appeared inside their head told them, after all… even though it greatly startled them.

As for the origin of the voice? Its tone alone clearly originated from a man, so naturally, it did not derive from the Goddess. Although such revelation should have shocked them, the announcement of their Class and Title was more shocking… and lamenting.

A Common Class Title? As a student from a prestigious school and as a son and daughter of wealthy parents, wasn't it humiliating if they received such a petty Class?

And if it still wasn't humiliating, what about their Title?

One of them actually… received the Title named Carpenter. And the blow from hearing the Title was enough for them to neglect the traits of acquiring such a Title.

In the end, the eight students, who received the Common-Class Title, slowly fell to their knees, and the despair, clearly written in their expressions, was slowly engulfing their emotions as though their hearts were grasped by someone threatening to crush them.

It deeply hurt them.

Meanwhile, the students, who received the Elite Class Title, were not… contended too. Although their reactions were not excessive compared to students that acquired the Common Class Title, their dissatisfied faces explained everything.

On the other hand, when they looked at some individuals, their classmates, who had different reactions, their enviousness clouded their minds. Of course, they were aware of who awakened the Rare Class Title, the Legendary Class Title… and the Mythical Class Title.

As for how? They just naturally knew, which for some reason they don't know. It must be because the voice appeared inside their head, informing them they were already affiliated with the World of Dreka.

That means they were not the people of the Earth anymore.

But they did not have the time to ponder about it as they were more concerned about their Class Title… and their future.

The Goddess looked at the students that have different reactions after acquiring their Title for a while, and when she felt the time was right for her to speak, only then did she open her mouth and say in an angelic voice:

"Everyone, can I have your attention, please?"

Inevitably, her vision rested towards Michael, who, despite receiving a Mythical-Class Title, appeared disgruntled. The Goddess only shook her head silently, knowing Michael would interrupt her sooner, and she was only waiting for that to happen.

She did not know what Michael would ask, but she was aware she was prepared for it. After all, it's not like this was the first time he met a person with a Hero Title, right?

"It seems everyone has now received the message from an unknown voice. And I'm sure he has already stated that you are now integrated into the World of Dreka, right?"

Some nodded, but some did not perceive her as they continued to look absent-mindedly, having been consumed by despair. The Goddess did not mind it and calmly fixated her attention on those gems amidst the piles of trash.

'2 Mythical Class, 4 Legendary Class, and 8 Rare Class Titles,' smirked the Goddess internally. 'Not bad.'

"Can you help them?"

As expected, before she could even receive an answer to her question, Michael opened his mouth and interrupted her from her euphoria. The Goddess looked to where Michael was pointed at, but not before glimpsing his facial expression filled with concern and sorrow.

"Them?" The Goddess managed to hide her despised look and replied, "Their mental health is greatly affected, so nothing would change even if I healed it. To be honest, this can also be a trial that will benefit them, especially if they manage to overcome the trauma and utilize it to become stronger and avoid being weak.

No matter how you see it, overcoming trauma is really difficult and might result in suicide. But if they succeed, it will shape them to become mature and ready to face another hurdle that is no different from what they are experiencing today.

Probably or as a matter of fact, you are still a kid, so you don't know how arduous the life of an adult is. It applied to both worlds.

Nothing is easy, my child.

I hope these words will engrave in your mind, and without doubt, you will be reminded of this once you confront another problem, especially a philosophical problem."

The Goddess felt she talked too much, probably because she suddenly felt reminiscence about her past… when she was still living as a mundane human - mortal.

Yet, in the end, they were still sixteen and still were developing as a young adult.

Hence, Michael, despite receiving a heartfelt answer from the Goddess, remained solemn with a mix of concerned expressions and stubbornly raised his voice and said:

"I don't know what you are saying, and I don't care about it. I only want them to be cured."

The Goddess was taken aback and couldn't help but smile bitterly. Gazing once again at the students, appearing not to comprehend her words, her impression of them decreased.

'It seems living a prestigious life affected their mentality.'

But when she thought about their future, she sneered internally.

'But I guess living in the Dreka world might shape them to have the mental resilience of a powerful warrior.'

'But, wait…' Her eyes widened slightly. 'But I'm sending them to my Empire, though. Doesn't it mean nothing will change if they live comfortably there?

No, No, No! I will inform the Palace, then. To send them to the battlefield instead of playing a student living in the Academy.'

Sorry for the lack of chapters. I have written two chapters today and will remain consistent for a while as I also focus on writing the Undead Path.

It's tiring to write both of them, but I always felt it was both whenever I received feedback and support from readers!

Support from you, guys, really means a lot to me!
