If he changed, what about you?

Lucas was panicking inside a world he didn't even know. All he was aware of was that he should be inside his body, but for what part? Who knows.

Meanwhile, the cause, the devil who was currently giggling for no reason, was currently basking from the convoluted runic circles with its crimson blood. Even if the Goddess had enough time to stop him, she was still in a state of shock, her body was still trembling, and her eyes were lacking focus.

As a consequence, she wasn't even conscious of what was happening to Lucas or the devil.

Meanwhile, the students were panicking when the runic circle activated, and they hastily ran to get out of it. Michael stood, The Rock scurried away too, and Natalia, after a moment of staring at Lucas with an ambiguous expression, suddenly disappeared and reappeared outside.

After they finally had the time to gather themselves, they perceived Michael was still standing in the same spot, inside the runic circle with a fixed stare at Lucas. After hesitating, he scowled:

"You are not the Lucas I know! If the Goddess were telling the truth that you are the devil, where is he now?"

Michael stared menacingly at Lucas, the devil, gathering the latter's attention towards him. Lucas turned and gazed at Michael, and his mouth formed a smile. It was creepy, but Michael did not even squint, and still appearing furious with an expression demanded an answer.

"Interesting. From my impression of you, it seems you are really a kind-hearted person who would not hesitate to offend those people that wronged your friends. You didn't even hesitate to show not a bit of respect towards the Goddess, no, a bitch from what Lucas called earlier."

Lucas, the devil, shook his head and shrugged.

"But it seems no matter how much effort you put to save your friend, or I don't even know if you consider Lucas as his friend, you can't save him. I do hope you will reflect on it."

He grinned and continued:

"I'm really interested in what you will become.

A silent, shy, and considerate man has been forsaken, and will soon change to voice his helplessness and anger to heaven. He will not be shy with his pride and confidence that surpasses God's haughtiness.

And he will not be considerate to kill, torture, and do unprincipled deeds that would even make God frown as he stared at the masterpiece created.

If he changed… What about you?"

With that last statement, Lucas vanished. Not only him, the crimson runic circle slowly dimmed, and eventually the crimson blood was nowhere to be found, causing the runic circle to return to its previous state.

Silence descended once again, and Michael, wrapped by a golden light from who knows where it came from, stood inside the runic circle with a dumbfounded expression. If it wasn't because of the golden light, he would have teleported alongside Lucas, and his future might have changed from then on.

However, he was still ignorant of it, while his whole consciousness focused on the statement the devil spoke to him. It seemed the devil was referring to the forsaken one to Lucas, but his question was directed toward him.

If Lucas really changed… and would become someone the devil stated. He could only hope Lucas would not. He indeed tried his best, but he couldn't save Lucas. He even had an emotional breakdown, causing the devil to take over his body and causing too much commotion.

Even the Goddess was still shaken from the events, and she was still in a state of shock. Thankfully, because Michael screamed at the devil, causing her to momentarily return to reality, she managed to conjure a golden barrier in the last second to prevent Michael from being affected by the teleportation magic array.

But after that… she was in a daze again and was still in disbelief about the existence of the devil.

'To think he is still alive.'

The Goddess' eyes suddenly widened, and her body shivered in fear.

'What will happen if all the devils return to the Dreka world? Will it start the chaos again? If that will be the case, then… No! Humans and other races can't fight against them. There will be no way to fight them.

Even if Demons and Humans fought together, it is still impossible to fight them!'

The Goddess clenched her fist tightly, even to the point a blood crawl out from it because of her sharp nails. Her expression couldn't remain stoic, she was completely perturbed, and her mind was in a chaotic state.

'The only race that can fight them is the dragon race, but they all long have been out of existence after the devil race mysteriously vanished.

But… If Lucas is alive, doesn't that mean that 'that' is also the same?'

When mentioning 'that' she felt her heart palpitate once again, much faster and louder than before. She couldn't even mention the name of 'that' as she was afraid she would be totally engulfed by fear.

Her mind was a mess, and her thoughts continued to shake her whole being. Absent-mindedly, her gaze locked on Michael, who was also staring at her… with a slightly complete gaze.

Staring at him, he saw a completely different image, he had a face similar to Michael, but he now wore exquisite armor with a sensational golden double-handed sword resting on her back. His golden hair, with a similar color to Michael, but the hair length almost reached his waist, fluttered exquisitely.

But what caught her attention the most was his gaze. The gaze that she always loved to see when they were battling for supremacy of the land. Even though that land couldn't host hundreds of thousands of humans, it was the start of conquering others into a single continent.

That gaze… that caught her heart in a helpless love…

"Arthur…"

She mumbled, and when the image completely disappeared, she finally awoke in reality.

"I will now send all of you to the Dreka world. I can't entertain you anymore with boundless questions inside your head."

The goddess flicked her finger, and the runic runes lit up again. At the same time, blood appeared inside the narrow slit of the runic runes, acting as the source to activate it. Before all the students could have the time to react, they suddenly appeared inside the teleportation magic array.

The Goddess voice echoed again:

"My advice to all of you… become strong, strong enough to defeat them. That's all.

Once again, please, become strong!"

Before they could digest her words, they vanished and reappeared in a completely different place.

A/N: Sorry for not updating yesterday, I really can't endure my headache, so I decided to take a rest. Although, I could actually finished it, but this d*mn PC kept restarting itself. Sigh.

Let's forget about that... so, what do you think of todays chapter? Will Michael remained the same? Or will he change?
