After rolling around the open field while fighting each other for almost an hour, Russel and Gian both laid their battered and tired bodies flat on the ground. Both of them are trying to stabilize their ragged breathing. No one had spoken a word since then. They were just lying on the ground with their eyes focused on the starless sky.
Even without looking at the mirror, Russel knew that his face was a mess. He can feel a stinging pain at the side of his lips as well as the swelling pain on his cheeks. After having a fierce battle with him, Russel did not know whether he should laugh or cry for himself. He clearly knew that Gian was stronger than him yet he dared to had a fistfight with him. He put a mental note in his heart not to do this again in the future.
"We should not do this again in the future." Russel said in a whispered voice. "I thought you will kill me this time."
