Invitation

With the continuous meeting of Bethany and Savarus, they both were now opened with each other, maybe not being completely opened as Savarus kept everything about the encraneos to himself.

Telling Bethany something like that isn't really the best idea, so he intend to keep those secrets to himself and beside not every secret was to be shared.

With these few days, Bethany could see that her feelings for Savarus was increasing by every moment.

Just yesterday was when Savarus proposed to her and she happily accepted without any troubles.

The gifts brought by Savarus wasn't something anyone would use for just a proposal because they were way too many for just the sake of a proposal.

The gifts was some many in numbers, some were precious gems, different exotic materials, jewelries and so on. Bethany on seeing all the gifts couldn't help herself but asked what type of person Savarus is.

Luckily for Savarus, he has already show her most of his business that he had, so that she doesn't have to be suspicious about him.

When Bethany asked Savarus why he agreed to be her guard when he has so much money and businesses, he gave her some details about his work.

"I took a two weeks leave from work the day I meant you, seeing as I'm the manager of my business no one have a problem with it, so I decided to use my two weeks in accompanying you as your guard, well I can say it's face, because I don't know I would be meeting my wife to be in those two weeks" was the reply from Savarus.

Oscar wasn't the type to hear the words of other as he do what was in his mind, he quickly start setting a date for their marriage just after their proposal.

"Dad isn't it too quick?" was the question asked by Bethany but the reply she got was the usual one.

"There isn't anything like too being too quick when there is love and beside you aren't getting any younger" said Oscar anytime Bethany ask him that question.

After getting a marriage consultant, the date was set to be in five days from now.

Oscar didn't waste anytime as he quickly start sending invite to almost everyone in the kingdom.

The king on receiving the invitation from Oscar personally, he look at the information on the invitation card before declining In a polite manner.

Oscar didn't think much about it as he doesn't really expect the most busiest man in the whole kingdom to attend his daughter marriage, he just do it to show he wasn't doing things without the king being aware of it, as he is a leader of a clan under the king.

"As the king of the kingdom, you have my support Oscar" said the king as he demise Oscar.

"Thank you your majesty" said Oscar as he how his head before turning to leave the king presence.

"I promise myself not to rule like my father, I don't have to destroy other's happiness all because of mine" said the king to himself as he looked at the disappearing figure of Oscar.

'Is this really the right thing to do, following my heart and letting fate decide everything that's going to happened' said Savarus as he and Bethany was at the mountain top they were sitting on the last time.

The mountains top was now their favourite place to be, a place where they can stay away from the trouble and gaze of others.

"Bethany, do you remember the first time we met?" asked Savarus as he looked at her.

"Of course, why would I forget something as interesting as that" replied Bethany.

"If someone was to tell you that we would be getting married in a month time, would you have believed?" asked Savarus.

"To be honest, I wouldn't have believe, but I'm not fate, it has a way of doing things" said Bethany.

"Yes it does, I see you are now comfortable sitting at the edge" said Savarus as he look at the way she was swinging her legs.

"I do know you would save me if I was to fall, that's to tell you how much trust I have in you" said Bethany while giggling.

On hearing her words, Savarus just smile to himself, he do know that he would save her if she was to fall, but he wouldn't allow her to fall in the first place, because it will lead to too much questions from her.

Bethany close the small gap between the two of them and rest her head on his shoulder with Savarus now holding her close to himself.

'I pray this feeling stays forever, but I just can't get myself to believe it will, for things never stay the same forever' said Savarus to himself as he continue holding Bethany while using his other hand to play with her long hair.

"Savarus please don't lie to me no matter what happens, open up to me just like I have opened up to you, no matter what you are thinking, know that I'm always here to support you okay?" said Bethany as she raise her head to look at him.

"I know Bethany" said Savarus, 'but I can't just bring myself to tell you, we don't have to bring up something which is already buried deep down, knowing that it would never come into the light' said Savarus in his mind.

"Why do you always seems to be lost in thought?" asked Bethany.

"Don't know what you are talking about" replied Savarus.

"Your eyes always look captivating, but anytime you are lost in thought, they became slightly dim, I have notice that about you" said Bethany.

"Wow, I don't know you were in love with my eyes" joked Savarus which causes him and Bethany to burst out into laughter.

"True be told, your eyes are beautiful" said Bethany. "if only I could exchange mine with yours".

"I would be glad to give you mind, but I do like you with your current one" replied Savarus as he gave her a kiss.
