Chapter 167 : Oracle!

One hour later!

Xena's mansion, Western warlords palace.

In a wide spacious hall two woman were sipping their tea and were discussing about specific topic which brought shock to the ones gathered around.

These two were naturally Xena and Cela, who had returned to the mansion after completing their work at Aaron mansion.

And the ones gathered around them were the members of church who survived the attack of cursed ones and also the trusted officers of black wigg army who were ordered to guard Xena in her mansion.

" So you're saying that the current predicament we are facing is just the prequel to the great apocalypse mentioned in your great oracle by Merclaive? "

With regards to her question, Cela gave a nod which caused the others to panic with terror.

Since birth, they heard many oracles from church which ultimately come out to be true.

Now that Cela had mentioned about the great oracle they couldn't help but interpret one word " Apocalypse! "

" What makes you so sure that the apocalypse is going to descend? "

Xena couldn't help but question Cela, cause she was involved in it.

If the army at the outside were the ones which were responsible for the great apocalypse, then why should they be concerned with abducting her, by threatening with their large numbers?

Xena wants to get to the bottom of it, but Cela who was a member of main church was reluctant to say as this involved the core secrets about their existence which even the empress was unaware of.

" Princess, if my memory says right, you seemed to have mentioned about Mark fighting some unknown monsters that could regenerate! "

Noticing the traces of tension in church people, Xena replied with "yes" which caused the church members to become more sure that the said great apocalypse was about to descend soon.

" Princess were they unkillable? Did they regrow severed arms, caused massive destruction with their sheer might and on top of it... were they in group? "

Facing the barrage of questions inquired by Cela, Xena seemed to recall the scene where Mark was pursued up by twenty huge humanoid monsters who caused a trail of destruction as if the earth was going to be destroyed tomorrow.

If not for Mark who acted a bait for those monsters to ignore them, Xena could very well imagine her fate which still brought chills down to her spine.

Xena scanned her surroundings who were eagerly awaiting her response, she took a deep breath in and exclaimed.

" Like you said, they had terrifying might within, and capable of restoring severed limbs instantly, but were not terrifying enough to be unkillable! "

If they were really unkillable, how could my Mark survive after being pursued by twenty of them?

Finding that Mark had returned back safe, Xena could easily interpret that he had to slay those half mutants for it.

Since the myth of unkillable monsters in great oracle was edicted, Xena felt that Cela was simply panicking for nothing cause she found her words in gear oracle to be incorrect.

Still the pain of watching Mark getting annihilated in soul space was suffocating to her!

A man with no prior relation had saved her from abyss demon!

A man with no prior relation had rescued her from Gazil!

A man with no prior relation had decided to act as bait for half mutants, just so that sue could escape!

Finally, that same man with no prior relation had decided to face the beastmen army for her and got eliminated right in front of her sight!

He was a man with pure heart, who had no obligations nor underlying schemes to help her, such was the one who got eliminated by contacting her bad luck!

If xena wasn't depressed, then she must be lying to herself!

After all a man precious to her got killed right?

At least it was what she believed it to be!

Just when Cela was about to refute Xena, and question her further, a strong presence appeared at one corner of the room, which drawed in their attention and caused the officers to unsheath their swords in instinct.

Wait! It's him!!

" He's dangerous! We should move princess to safety! "

The officers started panicking as they could clearly see the difference in power, and could state that this hooded person appeared in the hall was unfathomable.

Before the officers could actually charge in to intercept this unknown person, a familiar figure passed by them in a flash, which made them anxious to death.

" Princess! Why's she rushing towards him? "

" Puppet magic, this person must a puppet master who's controlling our princess movements! "

Looking at their princess who was dashing towards this unknown person, the officers of imperial army charged hastily, In an attempt to intercept this unknown and save their princess.

But contrary to their expectations, a dumbfounding scene was presented to them which made their eyes wide open with disbelief.

Even the unknown person that entered their sight was startled and fell down to floor by this unexpected development.

Mwah!

Princess hopped straight into the arms of this person and made a dumbfounding kiss in open, which caused the officers to doubt their vision as their princess learnt being intimate with that one whom they have never met nor heard of before.

The hood of this person was brought back, and a clear face of an familiar person had made Cela stand up being startled.

" Ma...Ma...Mark! So... even I was kept in dark! "

Cela who had found this hard to believe scene misunderstood these two and found it more reasonable about Mark who had risked his life to protect the princess from the clutches of half mutants.

" No wonder, he braved to enter the enemies territory alone and rescue princess at the cost of being near killed by twenty half mutants!Unforgivable, he should atleast have stated their relationship earlier! "

Cela clenched her fist and an intense intent to fight could clearly be seen by Rule, which made him curious.

Even the officers who earlier had panicked had a bright smile hung over there face and they started to become more approval of Mark to have relation with their princess.

" So he's Mark? From house Milton! And our princess... hehe, no wonder she had turned into a new leaf! A woman in love, sure is unpredictable! "

Lying down over the floor in a embarrassed position, Mark was just assaulted by this crazy woman who rendered him speechless with her wild actions.

" You are alive! Marky, you really returned back alive! "

This woman... Is she jinxing me?

" Fuck! What's wrong with her? She jumped out of nowhere and ... ... Man, I just was played by Wendy before and now this time it's Xena! "

Mark cursed her internally only to find his tongue getting more intimate and slippery with hers.

Fuck! I had enough already!

Still he couldn't dare hurt her as she was a key figure with his mission to begin with!

He slowly moved her back, took a deep breath in and exclaimed few words to others which made Xena turn red in embarrassment.

" I am borrowing her, we'll be returning back soon! "

Though he wanted to clear this misunderstanding off his head, Mark couldn't help but take Xena away, as he had made plans which required her, and it needs to be done fast before the enemies begin moving.

Right now most of beastmen bases outside the palace were eliminated and got absorbed by wendy!

Mark had reached high order aura emperor by now with wendy who ultimately reached the next order thanks to sacrifices who added up in her growth!

And with tens of thousands of undead under his command he could finally dare to attack the main base of beastmen, so he needs to make preparations before battle!

As such Mark had to fortify the palace before leaving, and what could be better than using the accumulated slayer points of his which could help him get array matrix that could defend blows of aura emperors for him?

As such he needs Xena's blood to reinforce array matrices, which was recommended by system to him!

Just when he was about to traverse out from the place, a woman boldly questioned him to make him answer!

" Why? Why her? "

When Cela clenched her fist in anger and asked Mark, his answer was

" I want her blood... so need to make her bleed a little! "

Shortly following it, Mark traversed out, leaving the ones around speechless.

" Fuck, he's too open! "

The officers and church members agaped internally, and the room became awkwardly silent and fumes of anger could very well be seen over Cela, who wants to boil Mark to death.

" Ho-ho, seems like our little Cela is getting jealous! "

Rule laughed internally and found a interesting topic which he could start using against Cela from now on.

" Henry! You made the record right? "

An officer who glanced the recording disc in his friend arm asked out excitedly, which brought silence to the room, with one fuming figure that dashed towards them.

Cela grabbed the record disc and in a fit of rage she crumble it to pieces, making that officer depress as it costed him a huge fortune to obtain it.

" Let's go for now, we'll return back later! Right now we still needs to go to southern gates to buff up those militants! What are you waiting for? "

Cela was going through a set of emotions and couldn't help but spell out the word " Beast! "

When she first met mark and looked at his life threatening injuries, she felt pity!

When she hears that Mark fought palace men, battled a strong monster, just to protect the maids that were assigned to him, she felt admiration.

When Mark saved her and solved the curse in western warlords palace and put a rest to the cursed souls of infested people, she felt happy, happy for choosing the right person, whom she set eyes on and also the one who had taken her precious thing.

And at last, when Mark revealed his affairs with the princess and openly stated that "he just needs to borrow her to make her bleed a little" she felt disgusted! And a sense of extreme rage could be seen just by glazing at her fuming self.

Looking at the broken pieces of recording disc, the officers mood fell down drastically, but when Cela exited the hall, that officer once again asked out Henry which spirited the ones around.

" Did you made a copy of it? "

In response to him Henry answered " Yes! " which cheered the ones around.
