Preperation for creation
The Creation Of Empyrean warriors was a way for the Canaanite gods to fight against the corruption of the Old One and the mind altering ways of the Mind flayers, as you might have guessed an Empyrean was created in a way that would make it very hard to corrupt them, even their mind was designed in such a way by the god that it would be close to impossible for the mind flayers to break them and enslave them.
But in the Upperworld of the magus realm right now a taboo was being created, The mad Gods were creating the Kraken as a punishment for the Mortals, Raurix leader of the Dragon Gods used a Golden Dragon Egg in the ritual of the Kraken creation, that Golden Egg was the fruit of his union with a Dragon Goddess, Raurix was hoping that if the Kraken had his Bloodline he could have some type of control over it or at least a Bloodline suppression.
