It was a cold Monday one where all students were excused from school. Although vengeance was what people wanted to do, there was a time and place for everything. Cold rain had settled in almost to the point of hail. Today was Kats funeral. Her parents were on the side devastated while almost everyone was there… except for Xavier. Most of Kats friends (Ryuki, Kirin, Koryu, Yuta, Felix, Ocha and other not named characters) and even Hijoshiki had shown up, just to give her condolences. Ryuki just looked down, holding up an umbrella to shield himself and Kirin from the rain, while Koryu did the same for Yuta. It was like a parallel, the 4 of them. Different generations but they seem to be similar in some ways. Hijoshiki then looked at the coffin before turning to everyone
Hijoshiki: "I… have to deal with some matters."
She then looked to Koryu, as before this happened Koryu had given a visual description of the man who was Trident-Man. After some research his name was revealed to be Aldo.
Hijoshiki: "you all may take a break from work, or… if you want to get right onto revenge let me know."
The woman in the black and white dress walked off, her heels clicking on the stone floor. Felix had his own matters to attend to and so nodded mentally saying all he wanted to. It was horrible to lose a friend like this. Ocha just held his umbrella up, wishing he could have done something but, it was just Koryu and Yuta there. If just more people were there, maybe he could have helped. Regardless, it was time to leave. Yuta continued to cry, her single eye had a constant stream of tears as Koryu held her close trying to comfort her, but it was impossible. More time went by as Koryu and Yuta had to go, each one had to be home by a certain time today. Eventually, everyone was gone. Kats parents, her unnamed friends… but Ryuki and Kirin, they haven't left. All this time Ryuki has said nothing, being emotionless. Kirin kept trying to check up with him, looking up with her eyes. Now that everyone was gone, she looked up again to see Ryuki… crying. Tears dripped onto the rain-soaked floor as he just couldn't hold it in anymore. He made no noise as he cried, just simply looking at the burial he thought to himself many things, that he couldn't save her, that things could have gone differently, that she was one of his only friends. It hurt, knowing someone for so long and suddenly having them out of your life, forever. Kirin realized she shouldn't say anything snarky or try to get Ryuki's attention. If she wasnt so accustomed to him she probably would of said something like *why are you so sad over her, you have me* but she understood. Kirin wrapped her arms around Ryuki pulling him in for an unexpected hug. Normally, Ryuki wouldn't respond and would just let her do it but this time… he answered hugging her. Kirins eyes fluttered for a moment before she closed them as Ryuki just continued to look forward.
