Since everyone was so eager to learn, Clara was willing to teach. However, Alecia didn't come that day, she was busy with the upcoming house construction. She needed to go to the forest to search for food, ensuring there would be enough for the builders to eat.
Gloria and Dani had become reliable helpers. They familiarized everyone with the materials for weaving in the nearby woods. Now the house became quieter.
Clara prepared an iron pot and started making candles. She rendered fat, boiled pine resin oil, mixed them together, found thin bamboo tubes, poured the mixture into them, and placed them in a cool area to solidify.
The remaining pine resin oil had a lot of rosin. Clara wasn't sure what to do with it for now, so she stored it in bamboo tubes for future use.
The mixture in the large pot was used to fill over twenty candles. Clara wondered if there would be any surprises when they solidified.
