Second Trial (2)

Yang Tian had covered an entire area with the Concealing Star Technique, but he knew this was not a permanent solution. He had to complete this trial quickly and return to the Blue Wind Profound Palace. He had to take part in the Blue Wind Ranking Competition as well…

That was why… The first thing Yang Tian did was take out the corpse of the female flood dragon he had killed earlier.

The blood of the female flood dragon was pulled out of the body by Yang Tian's control over profound energy.

He stored that blood together with the blood of the Scarlet Dragon. In fact, he mixed the two of them.

"From now on, we will eat this." He said while storing the inner beast core of the female flood dragon within the Sky Poison Pearl.

"…Even though you have pulled out all the blood from the body, its flesh would still contain enough power to burst me apart." Chu Yuechan said with a frown on her face.

Yang Tian shook his head and replied, "I naturally know that. That is why you will eat after me. I will help you refine the profound energy and use it to strengthen your body. When the time comes, and you do make the right choice, this energy which had strengthed your body will allow you to stabilize your cultivation."

As he finished speaking, he heard Jasmine's voice within his head, "Wouldn't it be a waste to share it with this woman? You were the one who killed it, after all."

"Well, for better or worse, she did take care of the other flood dragon. Even if it was at the cost of her profound veins. Besides, the body of the flood dragon is simply food to me. The precious things are the blood and the beast core, which I earlier extracted." Yang Tian's voice was quite casual as he responded to Jasmine.

"Hmm… Alright." Jasmine grunted with a hint of a frown on her face, but she understood Yang Tian's point.

Yang Tian ate the flood dragon's corpse as a meal. The energy within it was far lower than that of the Scarlet Dragon's body, so refining it wasn't difficult.

He could sense that his cultivation base was edging towards the Spirit Profound Realm, but he forcefully suppressed it.

Yang Tian then stared at Chu Yuechan, "Eat now… I will help you refine it." He placed his hand on her shoulder, and some sort of warm energy spread within Chu Yuechan's entire body.

Nervously, Chu Yuechan took a bite of the meat that had been given to her by Yang Tian.

Instantly, she felt as if an unknown amount of power had invaded her entire body. She wanted to use her profound energy to suppress this power within her body and then realised that she didn't have any profound energy.

Suddenly, Yang Tian's profound energy started to move. It seemed to be guiding the energy within that flood dragon's corpse. The energy of the flood dragon was being directed to each portion of her body.

However, the pain it brought couldn't be underestimated. Chu Yuechan clenched her teeth and took another bite of the flood dragon's meat.

Once again, she felt that another massive amount of power and entered her body.

However, just as before, Yang Tian's energy guided this immense power to all over her body. She did feel a lot of pain in nearly all parts of her body.

This process repeated multiple times, and it was extended to nearly 1 hour.

After the process had ended, Chu Yuechan moved her body and felt that her body was nearly twice as strong as compared to before. No… Maybe even more…

Upon seeing that Chu Yuechan was moving around, Yang Tian gave her a single instruction with an indifferent look on his face, "Don't go too far from this location. The technique I have used should last for another few hours. If you go too far from here, the beasts would be able to sense your weak aura and arrive at this location and kill you."

"Alright, I understand… Thank you for the warning." Chu Yuechan was truly happy right now and replied to him with a hint of a smile.

With that, Yang Tian left the area. He was naturally using the Concealing Star Technique to keep his aura hidden from any of the beasts.

Other than giving the beasts a slight push in the direction that Yang Tian and Chu Yuechan were, the Dragon's Spirit had done nothing too over the top.

Soon enough, Yang Tian arrived at the location. It was far enough from Chu Yuechan's area that the commotion here shouldn't affect her at all.

With a wave of Yang Tian's hand, all the blood of the flood dragon appeared in the air, it was suspended in the air through Yang Tian's Profound Energy.

With another wave of his hand, the blood of the Scarlet Dragon also appeared in the air.

"Now then… Let's start."

He said while sitting on a stone in a meditative sitting posture.

The blood of the flood dragon and the blood of the scarlet dragon immediately seemed to have attacked Yang Tian's body.

The flood dragon was at the sky profound realm, so its blood was still something that Yang Tian's body could handle. However, the scarlet dragon was at the Emperor Profound Realm.

Its blood was naturally not something Yang Tian's current body could handle. However, Yang Tian still dared to refine this blood forcefully. It was because he held the Fire Spirit Body.

The elemental power within the blood of the Scarlet Dragon was mainly that of flames. If it was any other element, Yang Tian might not have dared to do this. But since it was flames, he showed no hesitation.

Jasmine remained within the Sky Poison Pearl, having an idea of what Yang Tian intended to do.
