Broadcast & Speeches

Just as jade enters the GR. She stares at mirror present in the room or to be precise the girl inside the mirror with beautiful shiny silver hair, purple hooded eyes and her beautiful petal like lips red as an enchanting rose but today that diva face which is obviously pale to say it looked like ghost would not be an exaggeration.

"okay jade now its not the time to think but to complete all the tasks and school and don't let that brains of your to over think and shut it out yes shut it out…for now" she said in her pep talk to herself as her face is regaining the its color. She once again patted her both the cheeks and smiles in the mirror before walking out of the room.

"are you ready?" asks carlos as he saw her face is fine now and when she nods her head to indicate she's okay he continues "well then here's the script and principal would also be giving his speech and during that time you should change into school uniform…you are carrying it right?" conforms carlos "yes" she answers before he continues "and then you will come up as head girl with henry as he is the head boy after sir's speech and explain the rules to the students like every year and then all the student council leaders would introduce themselves , with that I and Monica will end the broadcast….understand" asks carlos

"well I understand but day before yesterday wasn't Amy doing it then how come monica replaces her?" asks jade as he looks at her before speaking "well amy has some personal issue so she called me yesterday and then I chose monica and we practiced together yesterday itself and it didn't had your part so I didn't disturb you" states carlos "how unprofessional of amy what exactly is the reason that she didn't come…tell me because I know that you know as you wouldn't allow such a behaviour" inquires jade

Carlos stares at her hard before sighing and saying "she didn't come to school today as her father is visiting her and apparently she goanna go on a vacation trip which she missed as he had some work during that time"

"oh fine let's move we are getting late" says jade while going through the script and the speech she prepared beforehand as even though she's pretending to be okay her mood is little soured but then thinking of her approaching birthday where she will meet her dad she gets fine not knowing what life changing storm is waiting ahead for her.

Carlos just shook's his head as he moves forward and finds sam waiting ahead for them with everything ready and all set to start to go live. As for there is the crowd waiting out in the lounge.

"all the leaders have arrived and in few mins. Principal would also be arriving …so all set" informs sam as he asks ; jade nods with script in her hands as she waits for carlos's signal as for the boy he goes in the broadcasting room and checks everything himself.

While sam shakes his head at someone's conscious behaviour, carlos signals jade to come inside as monica also comes inside the equipment room and says "principal would arrive in 3 min. exact, so we can start" while jade is entering the broadcasting room. Both of them get the mics ready as camera is getting ready for the live with the help of staff members and taking stand on their positions as sam gives a thumbs up with a countdown begins on the screen 3…2…1 live-on.

"Good morning 'S.F.High' today in the beginning of new semester after vacation we your hosts carlos" "and jade welcomes you back and hopes that you have a pleasant journey ahead"...….. "and now we invite our respected principal sir to give the speech" says jade as she stands up before giving her seat to sir with an handshake as exists the room.

She goes to GR and changes her dress into the school uniform which consists of a mini plated skirt with a tuck-in white shirt with a stylish check tie and a half sleeves waist court checked jacket and white socks with black stylish shoes. It wasn't a compulsion to wear the school uniform except for a formal occasion but it did look better than the club uniform just as her mother said in the morning mused jade as looks back into the mirror, she really looks no less than a model in that uniform. With that final look she rushes as principal's speech is coming to an end and sees henry already waiting ahead for her in school dress code and behind is mark yes mark whom she really doesn't want to see but he is the sports leader…well too bad but jade just ignores them after a polite nod as in greeting them while keeping a straight face.

"and now we invite our head boy and girl for their speeches" says carlos as the principal is exiting the room with a nod they move in room and jade faces the audience or to precise camera again and begins in her melodies voice "hello fellow students I am the head girl Jade Watson" "and I am the head boy henry cooper are going to state a few rules here"...…. "if you have any inquires or complains student council will always be at your disposal" ends jade with monica entering the room and says "thank you for your wonderful thoughts with that each leader will introduce us with clubs as it changes with new semester… and now we invite our sports leader Mark Theris for his speech" as jade exits the room with henry.

"hi jade are alright" asks henry as jade frowns he says "I mean we haven't met since a long time and you didn't even talk to me and went ahead so what's up , everything fine" says henry

"yeah you didn't had time as you were busy with your girl and I had to reach here ahead of you so I just went" explains jade

"okay see you later as I have to complete the docs. In council as you hate doing it so go ahead" he says as jade nods and walks away.
