They drove me to their headquarters. On the way, I can only imagine what kind of place it would be. We arrived at a street that I knew. It looked like an apartment.

When we went inside, I was expecting a tiny apartment-like office, but instead, I was greeted with a prominent place with people around and lavish decorations.

It appears that they purchased all six nearby buildings, kept the exteriors, and combined the interiors into one massive structure that looks like something out of a movie.

The floors are marble, and those chandeliers look majestic, but when I look closely at those chandeliers, they have tiny little bright yellow lamps in the places where there should be candles.

But still, I couldn't keep my fascinated expression.

Seeing my fascinated face, Anya said

"Welcome to Brooklyn's Awakened Headquarters," she said.

There were plenty of people when I looked around, around a dozen of them.

There were plenty of sofas with glass tables in the middle of the room, a cafe on the left side, toilets on the right, and some unnecessarily long stairs to the second floor, just like in most mansions.

'They could have just used some elevators, and they could have saved some space. It seems like the designer cares more about appearances.'

We walked onto the second floor, and I saw a familiar face.

'No, it can't be it. That's Kenta.'

When I looked at him, he looked back at me, surprised.

"Hey, Dendi. What are you doing here? Are you an awakened too?" He said this with an excited tone.

"You know each other?" Anya said

"Well yeah, we know each other. And no, I just found out recently about this awakened thing. I didn't even know this place existed until now. " I said while checking on Kenta

This is my first time seeing someone with such a high level of MP. And his skills are very excellent and novel, maybe even more remarkable than mine.

"What? You didn't even know? When did you awaken?" Kenta said, seemingly confused

Anya suggested, "Let's take a seat first." We then took a seat.

While we were taking a seat, another familiar face showed up.

"Oh! Hey, everyone! Mind if I take a seat? Oh, hey, Dendi. I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is James. " James said. Yes, that James that went into my house the day before with Anya.

"Sure. Anyways, what is this awakened thing? What is this place?" I said

"Awakeneds are people capable of storing massive energy within themselves and use strange powers. We keep our existence a secret from normal people. How did we get this power? I think it differs from most people, but mostly they were born with the powers. However, there are rare cases where people awaken another ability later in life." Anya explained

"Could you show him your ability, Kenta?" Anya asked, facing Kenta

Kenta nodded and he looked at the plant pot near us, and he flew it onto the table.

I checked his status, and it seemed that it was taking quite a lot of mana.

"That's cool," I said

"Yeah. By the way, how did you clear the Kobold Dungeon by yourself? How did you even find it?" James asked, slightly confused.

'What should I say?' It took me 3 seconds to reply.

"I stumbled upon it by luck. When I was close to it, I felt a weird sensation, tried to get closer to it, and ended up in a weird place. Then I just used my archery skills to kill the kobolds after entering it."

"That weird sensation? We call it energy. I've never seen anyone with energy detection skills before, and I think yours is a rare one. But being able to defeat the Kobold Boss with archery sounds cool. Perhaps you awakened two abilities that you didn't know about yet? Some people awaken with multiple skills, but they only find out about them later on. " Anya said

" I see. Also, how did you guys know about dungeons? How can civilians not know about it?" I asked

"As you can see before, dungeons are invisible portals that appear in random places on the streets. If we awaken and pass by the portals, we will enter a strange place.

But if civilians pass by them, nothing will happen. That's how we differentiate between an awakened and a civilian.

Yeah, we mostly find dungeons by luck, and you should also be able to feel if you're in front of a dungeon entrance as it emits a strange cold feeling. No one, however, knows how we got our powers or how the dungeons exist."

'I see. This is new to me.'

"I've been curious about this, but may I see your ability in action, Dendi?" Anya asked me

"Sure." I said,

We then walked into the basement, where they took me to an empty lot. I asked if there was some target practice or dummy. Some staff then brought in a couple of targets for training. I asked them to place the marks separate from each other.

I prepared my attack mode, and my bow appeared. The others were amazed at the sudden appearance of my bow, especially the strange look it had.

I pulled my bow and shot an invisible arrow with a small trail of blue arrow aura.

Five arrows came out. Once it was released, it hit the bull's eye of the five target practice. They even went past through the bullseye as they made a hole. The others were amazed at this.

"I'm done with my showcase. May I see Mr. James and Ms. Anya's abilities now? " I said

But they didn't seem to be hearing me as they still seemed surprised. Only after I repeated my question did they go back to reality.

"What is that. That's way better than my ability," Kenta said, surprised and excited.

"To put it simply, I can load the energies into my bow and shoot them as if they are solid matter. I can shoot around 20 times." Of course, that was a lie, and I could shoot trillions of these arrows for free. But if I told them that I could shoot trillions, it would go wrong.

It's Ms. Anya's turn to show her abilities. We took a piece of paper and wrote a random paragraph on it, placing it far away as she instructed. She then said it exactly as it was. She then asked us to write another section and put it far away in a dark place. Of course, she could still read them. It was fascinating.

When it was Mr. James's turn, he told us that he could move his legs quickly. He then ran. Yeah, he ran, and he was swift. It was comparable to a bicycle. But I was more surprised when he showed us his round kick. It was fast, like Bruce Lee.

'I guess the sprint skill can be used in another way.'

After it ended, I said my goodbyes and went home, planning to take a small nap and do the next endless stage.

"Hmm, this is amazing," he said with a smile.
