"Why are you doing this?" Mrs. Chu asked sadly yet confusedly, eyes looking tearily at Mr. Elroy across them.
He was calmly seated at the guest chair inside their office as he walked in for an impromptu visit, claiming he just wanted to talk. But Mrs. Chu cannot even control herself from tearing up, especially when her husband is nowhere inside the office.
She was alone with Mr. Elroy and she was by far anxious of what he's capable of, especially when she's thinking they haven't done anything to offend Hugo and Timothee's father. They welcomed his sons as if they were their own.
They didn't offend and sinned from them. Not that she's aware of. She's also pretty sure Darren was a very hospitable and welcoming. Her son offered Timothee a place to stay even when he didn't know him at first.
