The Meet-Up
Hugo clenched his jaw, eyes glued to his own phone. His gaze did not leave his phone even when Eva came in, holding another folder and settling it down on his table.
"These are the reports you've asked me, Atty."
Hugo waved his hand to dismiss her. And when he was alone again, he leaned his back on his chair before crossing his legs.
Perhaps this day is not really that great. He had just finished meeting one of his new clients Count Viskal recommended and just got the trial's schedule. It was fine with that but the moment he stepped inside his office and his phone buzzed to receive two texts from Alexandra and Jacques. He knew his day is not going to be that great anymore.
Alexandra have got to be the one who have all the courage to antagonize him even more.
