Favian's hand froze only inches away from trembling Lina. He turned around only to see Sylvia's short frame standing at the door. Her eyes were wide and full of anger as she marched into the room.
"Move away from her." Sylvia commanded.
Lina felt like life had returned back to her with a slap in the face that broke her out of her fear. With a hopeful smile on her face, she tried to run toward Sylvia, but Favian grabbed her arm roughly and pulled her back.
Lina cried as his nails dug into her skin while she tried to pry his fingers off her.
"What the hell are you doing here, Sylvia?" Favian demanded.
"What are YOU doing, Favian? Am I not suffiecient enough to tame the animal in you? Aren't you satisfied after ruining my life that you want to ruin more?" Anger began to buzz in her whole body.
