Finding Her Wand!

Minutes passed as Lina sat on the floor, crying her heart out, while Sylvia sat staring at Favian's unconscious form with a straight face.

Sylvia then crawled to Lina and pulled her in a hug. Lina's whole body shook as she sobbed, holding onto Sylvia. Sylvia gave her a few moments to lighten her heart before she pulled away.

Holding Lina's shoulders, she said, "Lina stop crying. You are safe."

"Only because of you, Sylvia!" Lina looked at her saviour with teary and grateful eyes.

"If it wasn't for you then..." Lina looked away as disgust washed over her.

"It's okay. I am here. Now get up and run."

"What?"

"He is only unconscious, Lina. If he wakes up and finds you, he will not spare your life. So before he wakes up you have to go."

Lina's face shifted into pure concern and confusion. "And what about you? Come with me. Please!"

Sylvia's face softened, watching the genuine concern on her face. She shook her head with sad eyes. "I can't. Not yet."
