The next day, I sparred with Father Vincent. It was one sided. He could not even catch the wind from my movement.

Father Noah was impressed. After the spar, with the power invested in him by the Church. He named me Sir Argent. He made me a holy knight.

Archbishop Noah and Father Vincent left the next day. With their ask complete. They needed to leave. People of their level are busy during these times.

I would not get an official post until I become an adult at 16. For now, I am to keep my home and the surrounding area safe.

I have fours years before I strike out into the world.

4 years later...

I have become a confirmed member of the Church. I honed my fighting skills and fully explored my power. Now I can use only a portion of my capabilities. Rather than changing form every time I need to fight small fry that only need 10%power or less.

Being 16, it was time to leave the care of Sister Elizabeth and the other Sisters.

I was sitting with Sister Elizabeth as she wanted to speak with me.

She started, "Lucius, you're 16 now. It is time for you to leave the nest. I know you are going to work under the church as an exorcist.

I know you're very strong too. I just you can take of yourself and find more in life then just the job. Also, please beware of powerful dangers. I would hate to know you've shed even a drop of blood."

"Then I will never spill a single drop of blood from this day forward Sister.", I say plainly.

She grins, "I know it would the be the last thing you'd allow. Which puts me at ease. Although it may be a bit contradictory, if you find a good reason to bleed. Make sure that not a single drop is wasted."

I nod, "Of course Sister."

She sighs with a bittersweet smile, "Where are you being sent first? You should have gotten your first assignment by now. The exorcist are punctual with their ma power. There are not many exorcists after all."

I answer, "They will be sending me to Rome, States of the Church. An elusive vampire cult as taken root beneath the city. All others sent have failed. Therefore, they will send me. An easy first assignment all things considered."

We end the conversation after a few well wishes.

3 days later, I left for Rome. I would have to cross the sea and travel through many countries. As that peninsula is not a united one. I will land in France. Then go through Savoy. Milan is next, after that is Tuscany. Finally, the States of the Church where Rome is located.

France should be an interesting a country as it would be long to travel through it. Although the vampire cult is a dire situation. They have not killed within or around Rome. They dare to congregate on Church lands yet fear getting any attention. Yet it will do them no good.

For I am being sent to deal with them anyways.
