Uproar.

Pandemonium.

Chaos.

Many words could be used to describe the current state of the Supernatural world.

A delicate balance kept most pantheons from engaging in combat with one another, and territories hadn't changed for thousands of years.

Truly, with the exception of the Three Factions of the Biblical Pantheon and their Great War.

The supernatural world was in order.

An era of peace, only holding minor disturbances as Pantheon's had their own fair share of internal conflicts and issues.

Until now.

Mainland China:

The land was torn asunder.

Endless magnitude 8 and 9 Earthquakes reshaped the land.

Typhoons, endless rain, and volcanic explosions claimed the lives of millions, reaching even the billions.

A cataclysm of biblical proportions that had managed to remind humanity how truly helpless they still are when faced with Nature's Wrath.

To all, it seemed like the Gods had Smitten their wrath upon the helpless Chinese.

Perhaps they had failed to appease the Gods?

In fact…

It was the opposite of the Gods' Wrath.

-------------------------------

"We assemble here today to discuss a matter of vital importance." The melodic and smooth tone of Sirzechs echoed in the Satan Council.

Yet, his eyes betrayed the seriousness of the matter, he stated with a grave undertone:

"The complete annihilation of the Chinese Pantheon."

Yes, the wiping out of an entire Pantheon.

The whole list of Gods.

The Chinese held more than a hundred deities of varying powers - Some easily capable of flattening a country with a flex of their finger.

The entirety of the Supernatural World was in a stupor.

No one could comprehend such a thing occurring, barring the direct involvement of Orphis or Great Red.

It was mind-boggling, and fear-inducing.

Only elevated by the fact that a simple question has yet to be answered.

"Who and what did it?"

"And where is it now?"

The only clue they ever had was…

A white shadow that swept through the landscape.

-------------------------------

"Achoo!" A fair boy, sneezed as he absentmindedly sat on the bus.

Naught a thought crossed the boy's mind, as his impassive and frosty blue eye and fiery yet seemingly blind crimson eye detachedly observed the changing landscape.

His shoulder-length snow-white hair was swept aside by the cool breeze that invaded the bus through the window.

The boy's looks were not to be trifled with.

A jade beauty with sharp swordlike eyebrows.

A mix of boyish charm and a girlish countenance beyond his cold and passive exterior.

The boy is an ethereal beauty, one whose charms would work on all - Be it man or woman and even the world's greatest prudes.

It was this very reason why, the boy had been ignoring the mesmerized gazes of his fellow bus occupants.

The bus announcement repeats, "Kouh Academy! We Have Reached Kouh Academy!"

Without a fuss, the boy rises up from his seat and leisurely exits the bus with eyes following his every motion.

His eyes are met with the giant, prestigious campus of Kuoh Academy.

A mesmerizing sight, for any newcomer.

Yet, our boy is unfazed by the sight, having seen better and…

His eyes narrowed, as he mumbled, "Kouh Academy… A storm is coming."

Yes, this boy, the one who had managed to pause all the shocked onlookers.

"Is that…?"

"Kya~! He's so cute and handsome!"

"Wow… He looks so cool."

Was the 12-year-old infamous prodigy, John Smith.

Skipping classes was a breeze, for a man like him.

Though, in reality, underneath it all.

He was also…

[We're here~! Are you ready to have some fun, Master~!] A sultry, musky, and attractive voice echoes in John's mind.

He was…

'I'd like to keep out of trouble if I can help it, System.' John replied back coldly.

A reincarnate.

The former world's greatest assassin for five decades in a row.

Sensing a sharp look directed at him, John's eyes narrow towards a certain window of an old building inside the campus.

His eyes are met with a dazzling well well-endowed crimson-haired girl.

Soliciting a gasp from the girl, to which John removes his piercing gaze from her, directions his gaze forward, as he stepped into the school.

His first day in Kouh Academy, and Kouh itself.

Had officially begun.

Marking a new chapter in his wild and trouble-filled life.

-------------------------------

In the Occult Research Club

A shiver ran down Rias Gremory's spine.

As a warmth enveloped her rosy cheeks.

Despite his cute and short stature, Rias felt mesmerized.

Coughing, to collect herself, she wondered, "John Smith, huh… What Sona told me was true, the unbeaten Chess Prodigy is enrolling in Kouh."

Recalling that spine-chilling yet exciting look he gave her, she mumbled, "He's sharp… I wonder… What is he hiding?"

Sighing, she added, "I'd much rather recruit him, than Issei. I'll have to send Koneko to have a look at him."

"Tea, Rias?" Akeno's slow and melodic voice echoed from the kitchen, as her steps gently impacted the ground at her approach.

"Why, thank you. Akeno." Rias smiled gratefully, taking the cup from Akeno's hands.

"Who has managed to pick our interest today, Rias~?" Akeno teased with a smile holding her face.

"John Smith," Rias stated as she took a sip, pointing at the otherworldly beauty heading towards the main building, a crowd forming wherever he went.

Akeno's eyes widened, and a sultry tone emanated from her voice, "Ara~ He does look enticing. If we don't recruit him. Mind if I make him my toy~?"

Snorting lightly, Rias shook her head, "No, I wouldn't mind."

She smirked seductively, "That is if you're willing to share."

-------------------------------

John frowned as he entered the main building.

Taking a sniff, he had already managed to deduce the source of his greater unease.

'It's not just the girl in that building. There are devils here as well…'

[What are you going to do about them, Master~?] System eagerly questioned.

He hummed, 'They can go ahead and question the Chinese Pantheon.' He shook his head, adding, 'The fools.'

[You're just going to kill them?]

Shrugging, John responded, 'As long as they don't try something. Any attempt, and they'll taste gunpowder and steel firsthand.'

His eyes narrowed and fists clenched, a profound emotion resurfacing, 'The power I was reincarnated with… It is not without flaws.'

[I am aware Master, Your faulty reincarnation may cause you to momentarily lose all your power.] System mentioned.

[It's a good thing it has only happened once in all your years in this new life~! Don't worry, I'll always be with you!]

Nodding, John responds with a rare soft tone towards the system, 'Right. Thank you, System.'

[Kya~!]
