Chapter 8

Last night was amazing. I stretched and looked over to see Matthew awake.

"Good morning my love." "How did you sleep last night?"

"Good morning, I slept well."

I kissed her lips.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

I looked at his neck and the bite mark is nothing more than a scare now I got out of bed and walked to our bathroom mirror and the same mark is on my neck I smiled at remembering last night.

"Did I hurt you last night?"

I hugged her from behind.

"It hurt but it was my first time." "I am fine. "I promise you now let's go have breakfast." "I am starving."

We walked hand in hand to the dinning room where no one had even eaten yet.

"What time is it?" "I thought the whole pack would be up by now and yet there is food but no one here."

"I asked them to eat before we are having our honeymoon so I thought I would make breakfast special."

I pulled out her chair to push her in and we ate breakfast very quietly. Maybe we should have had breakfast with the whole pack. This is really quiet.

"Hey Matthew I think we are being spied on by our fellow pack members."

I looked over her shoulder to see the whole pack staring at us.

"What do you say we give them a big scare?" "They will never see it coming."

"What is the plan?"

I talked about what the plan was. I grabbed the dishes and walked into the kitchen as Matthew followed behind me. I figured that they would want to look into the kitchen so we hid behind the door.

"Where did they go?" "It's completely empty in here."

"What are you talking about?" "There is no way out of here but through the same door."

We watched as they walked into the kitchen we are hiding behind the door.

"You ready?"

"Sure am."

We walked up behind them and taped them on the shoulders.

(All the members of the pack.)

"Ahhhhh."

"Oh it's just you two you gave us all a scare."

"Yep that was the point you all don't need to be spying on us but it's a really good thing that you weren't in a different land they would have killed you or worse." "It is a good thing that it's just for use." "Oh by the way has anyone seen the moon goddess?"

"She said that she had to go back home, sorry Luna."

"What?!"

I stormed out of the house and I can feel my wolf wanting to shift. I let her do as she wanted and I shifted.

"Howl!

Why am I so angry with my mother? Running through the woods I had to stop. I couldn't run anymore. What is wrong with me? Usually I can run longer than this. My body shifted back into a human. What the hell?

"Uuuggghhh!"

I started running in my human form. I need to get rid of this anger. I stopped again from getting tired. What is wrong with me? Am I sick? I looked at myself. I am naked I can't go home like this. I sat down by the river and looked at my reflection.

"What am I going to do now?" "I am naked and angry."

"Why are you angry?" "I brought you a blanket."

I wrapped it around her.

"What's going on?" "With you and the moon goddess?" "Hell, what is wrong with you?" "I have never seen you have to stop from running."

"I don't know what is wrong with me." "I have never experienced this kind of energy loss." "You know the moon goddess is my mother and I wanted to talk to her." "I can't believe she left without saying or even talking to me before she left." "That is why I'm angry with her." "How could she just leave me when I was younger?" "My life was hell my whole life until I met you and this amazing pack." "What happened to my father?" "I have so many questions for her." "So why just why did she leave without a word?"

"You have to understand your mother is the moon goddess hell you are one to so I think she had to go back to the moon and watch over the other side of the world you have to remember everyone needs her."

"Then where was she when I needed her?" "All I have ever seen when I was a child was a moon and nothing more."

"Chloe have you ever thought about why you used to look at the moon when you were younger?" "It's because deep down you knew something about the moon that no one else does."

"I guess you're right but I just want answers to all the questions I have."

I felt tears fall from my face.

"It's starting to get cold." "Let's go home."

"But it's summer time."

I put my arms around her and she is shaking. Is she getting sick? I helped her walk home. She is so tired. What is happening to my wife? I helped her sit down by the fire.

"How do you feel now?"

"Better."

I have never felt sick like this in my entire life. What is going on? Did someone poison me?

"Sigh." "What is that smell?"

"Oh the children are making crafts in the kitchen why?"

"I don't feel so well."

I jumped out of the chair running as fast as I could into the bathroom. I barely made it to the sink as I threw up.

I followed behind her. She threw up in the sink.

"Chloe do you have any cravings?"

"Yes and I also can't run too far either."

"If I am right from everything that you are experiencing I think you are pregnant." "We will have to get you to Diane to make sure but I think we are going to be parents."

"What?!"

OMG I can't believe I am going to be a mother. I felt a smile come across my face.

"Yes!"

We walked to Diane's place.

"What brings you two here at night?"

"We think that Chloe is pregnant."

"Already really?" "That is very surprising." "Usually it's hard to get pregnant when you mate." "But let's have a look."

I sat down and let the doctor do an ultrasound. I hope that I am pregnant. I will be a great mother and Matthew will be a traffic father.

"I have fantastic news you are pregnant but it gets even better if you are going to have twins."

"No way did you hear that honey?"

I looked to see Matthew on the floor.

"I think he heard it alright. I am used to this kind of thing happening to many pack members." "He will be alright but for now let's go over what you need to avoid and what you need more of."

Diane talked me through everything there is so much I never knew before.

"Thank you so much for all of your help Diane." "Are you sure it's okay that Alpha and I stay here for the night."

"Yes Luna, I said you should stay the night just to make sure Alpha is alright."

"Thank you for everything."

I kissed Matthew on the head. Feel better soon. I stay awake. It's funny I would have never thought I could become a mother but now that it's true I can't wait to see them. Sleep finally came for me.
