Truth Uncovered? An unreadable Enemy (Part 2)

SCENE 30: in Ka Di's car

For the sake of winning a game, people draw some rules; some of them said that you should have strong team members, if one is defeated, the second will cover their downfall. Other people said that being strong is not an important condition for winning; many strong people lose their games because they are empty minded or focus more on their strength rather than on the game itself. Then, the question raised is still up-to-day unanswered.

Ka Di after receiving a message to his phone left the shopping mall with Jay towards the place of Si Da and Amie. Ka Di looks at Jay and thinks: will they tell me what's going on?

Jay without looking at him: if you have any question ask! Or focus on driving!

Ka Di: Am I the one supposed to talk? Aren't you the ones supposed to explain to me how do you know him?

Jay: you should save my sister first, she will tell you herself. She keeps silent for a while and then adds: I seem to change my mind about you!! Then she sarcastically smiles..

Ka Di: in which way?

Jay: when Amie first uttered your name to me one day before the BB Company's opening event and the day of your sister's kidnapping, I didn't seem to understand why it was you…. She keeps silent for a while, then looks at him!!

Ka Di keeps listening to her while driving.. Then she adds: 'you don't seem annoyed with the issue of your sister's kidnapping, aren't you?'

Ka Di looks at her and asks: you even know what's going on in my company?

"more than you think!" jay answered.

Ka Di: then am I supposed to worry about this?

Jay: keeps silent, and then says "you changed Ka Di Akman!! At the beginning, whenever you know we are tailing you or your matters, whatever it is, you get annoyed, you stumble, you become noisy, and your decisions are all chaotic!! But you aren't like this today!! What have changed? Or. Why did you change?

Ka Di smiles softly: wasn't it me who is supposed to ask question? Anyways!! I was slapped this morning! And if I am not wrong, you were there too!!

Jay smiles: fortunately you woke up Akman!!

Ka Di: then why does your queen wants to wake me up? Why am I very important in your plans!!

Jay says sarcastically: aren't heroes important in any story!! And so you are!! Didn't you always want to be your family's her…!!!

Before finishing her sentence, Ka Di quickly parked his car, and pinned Jay on her seat, and hastily asked: "Jay Bitt. Who really are you? Don't keep me in the dark anymore!!!!! What's your relation with Lu Di?

He was frowning, his white forehead started sweating, and his voice shook!! Jay was scared for a while...then she pushed him away: do you want to kill me?

Ka Di woke up from his tantrum, and apologized from her!!

Jay keeps staring at him for a while, then she sadly, and tenderly asked: hummm Did I remind you of Lu Di?

Ka Di: you..!

He remembers in the school days telling Lu Di that he will be the hero that will protect weak people. They were sitting on the bench in the school courtyard. Ka Di was having some snacks, while Lu Di was writing something on her notebook. Ka Di steals some glances from Lu Di from time to time, while Lu Di was focusing on writing down.

Ka Di: what are you doing? Let me help you!!

When he come closer, he found that she was calculating something, but Lu Di hide the notebook, and pushed him away. Few moments later, she apologized, and told him that these are for her fathers' shop and she was helping him in calculating his arrears.

Ka Di remembers when her brother slapped her and wanted to ask her about that, but he hesitated.. then he quickly added 'you know!! I am a hero!! I am rich, and my family is very strong in this country! So I can save all the weak people here!"

Lu Di: aren't you so arrogant. You can't save yourself from the other students who are bullying you, and you want to save all the weak people? You're kidding!!Aren't you!

Ka Di laughed: bullying!! Wh..!! Those!! I don't like showing off!! But all their parents can't stand in front of my grandpa.

Lu Di: that's because they are afraid of your grandpa, what about you? Who is Ka Di Ackman.

Ka Di stuttered, but was somehow happy as it was the first time Lu Di uttered his name!

He adds: he is my grandpa, and I am his grandchild. The other kids know this!! And this is enough to keep them busy. I have no energy, nor time to waste on them. I have other things to do!! He looked at her, and she widened her large eyes and says: keeping them busy to focus on other matters! She holds his hands, and adds: That was what I'm looking for!! How didn't I think of this!! She smiles prettily and then takes her stuff and leaves.

Ka Di: wai..! she didn't even thank me for the idea!! But he felts flattered as she hold his hands and she was happy and excited..

Jay wakes him up… and says: keep focusing on your driving bro!! you seem flattered in your daydreaming!! What were you thinking about??

Ka Di didn't answer!!

Jay: I learnt that the great Ka Di Ackman gets only annoyed when talking about the Greatest Lu Di!! Amie was right!! You won't be useful if you keep doing this!! restrain yourself when thinking about her!! You seem like a man whom his wife cheated!!

Ka Di: Did Amie tell you this?

Jay: Amie has great expectations about you even before we met you!! Especially, you are the hero who saved the hidden Group at the age of 15!!

Ka Di: you even knew that!!

Jay: why would we waste our time if it wasn't for KR hidden group?

Ka Di: KR? What is this?

Jay: what do you mean? Your group is marked under the name of KR group?

Ka Di: no!! The group's name is KK!!!

Jay: that's not what we know… I guess we should talk about this with Amie!! This is really important!!

Ka Di thinks for a while, and then adds after starting off his car: who is Amie's informer? She seems to know many things!!

Jay: that's something she will tell you when she trusts you more. You're still under observation.

Ka Di: I guess I have no other solutions. Let's go, he is waiting us!! By the way, my last question is: why is he part of her plan? Or was he her toy since the beginning?

Jay: I don't know about this!! All the events of today happened unexpectedly, nothing of this is planned!! Let's hurry up! I hope she is doing well!!

Ka Di observed her stress: he said to her: aren't you angry because she hide things from you? Don't you suspect her faithfulness?

He remembers when Amie told him at the beach about the friends he trusts, and he tried to play the same game on Jay but …

Jay laughed: loyalty of Amie? You're kidding me! aren't you? Then she looked out of the car's window with gloomy eyes..!! Do I even have the right to question her loyalty? She is Amie? My only Amie!! Her gloomy eyes widened a bit and filled with tears she wanted to hide them to not let Ka Di see them.. yet!! although he didn't see her face, he could feel her sadness.. he understood that her gloominess is not because Amie hid things from her!! But because of something they shared!! Something that bounds them closely to the extent that none could break this bound.

Jay was living with Amie since long!! A period of few or many years long ….none of them can remember!! Or don't want to remember… they are just sisters!!! This past they shared is the worst thing they never wish to remember… yet! It is following them whenever they want to rebuild their lives above this past's wreck… someone certainly doesn't want them to do so!! For some reasons!! this enemy doesn't want Amie and Jay to start over their lives!!! That's why Amie, instead of being chased by the past, decide to chase it herself!!!

Jay added in a low voice: many people tell you to live your present, and forget about the past!!! Every person succeeds in doing so!! Except for us!! Amie and Jay will always be haunted by the past!! That's why Ka Di is important for Amie!! Because you are the key to the past!!!

Ka Di straightens his hand on the car's steering wheel, and his facial features changed in an instant.. he became more serious.. and his gaze became sharper and more mature. He adds succinctly: then we are looking for the same person!! Starting from today: whomever you are! I will trust you.. And I will be the hero that will save you all".
